“Julie did a fantastic job caring for my two cats. One of them can be quite aggressive so I’m always anxious when I need to find a new sitter. Julie set my mind at ease from the beginning and went above and beyond to take great care of both of cats, sending me updates and photos each day. Highly recommend. Thank you, Julie!”
“Timely, does everything we needed, and goes above and beyond to try to spend time with a shy cat :) Mine refused to come out and greet her but she got me a picture for every visit! Also appreciated her willingness to work with the hassle of getting into and finding a unit in a huge building without us home.”

“Our shy little kits took right to Lisa! She was so communicative and reliable. She was also very flexible when we has to extend our time away, which we really appreciated! We are so glad she was able to take care of our pets!”

“My boys did great with Madelyn and are so excited to have her back! 😄 She is super communicative and sweet and takes the time to get to know your fur babies and respects their personalities. She is wonderful!!!”

About: I have grown up around animals my whole life, from dogs, cats and turtles all the way to horses, goats and chickens! I have had quite a few dogs throughout my life of different breeds and sizes. I regularly watch my family and friend’s pets, from a young spaniel puppy to a big senior Labrador who thinks he’s a puppy. I treat my senior friends with care and affection, wanting them to know nothing but happiness! I have also had a few puppies and understand the patience and care they require, especially when it comes to teaching them manners. I am currently unemployed so pet care will be my full time job! I am completely available everyday at all times to take care of and spend time with your furballs! I have two cats who run my home, they are leash trained and I regularly take them out to explore the backyard and play outside! They are very spoiled and I shower them with treats and toys when I can. When I watch others pets I want to know exactly how they want me to care for their pet, not wanting the animal to have to stray too far off their regular routine, especially when it comes to puppies.
“Annabelle was so good with my two cats, one was on her lap on her first visit! It was such a pleasant surprise to get that picture, as both cats are still in a difficult adjustment period after moving to a new home. Thanks Annabelle for being such a great communicator, and for loving on Ant and Keels while I was away. Already booked for more drop-ins :)”

About: Currently a pet parent of 1 dog and 2 cats. Experience outside of rover taking care of peoples furry friends. Good with being an advocate and dealing with dogs who are more shy and nervous as I have a shy/nervous dog myself. I will be intentional about the care and support your pet needs. I currently have a very flexible work schedule and will be able to fit to most schedules in terms of the family and pet needs. Though we won’t host any pets at our home, I will make sure I have a full understanding of your expectations and needs when taking care of your favorite family member.
“Once again, Christine is awesome! This is the third or fourth time we've had her check in/walk our pup and she's always very detailed with her notes, checks his water bowl, gives him treats and pets, takes him on great walks, lots of pictures. Cannot recommend her enough! Thank you again!”

“Marissa is a fantastic pet sitter. My cats adore her and she gives them so much attention on her visits. I am always so excited to see her photo updates. My cats are not overly high-need, but she does a great job making sure their food is full, their water is fresh, and their litter boxed is cleaned. Marissa is very easy to communicate with and someone I absolutely trust with my pets. I have so much peace of mind knowing she will be there to take care of my best buds when I am out of town.”

About: Hi, I'm Stephanie. I have a passion for all animals and have 14 years experience living with and taking care of cats and 2 years of experience taking care of dogs. I've had up to 4 animals of my own at one time-3 cats and 1 dog and love the energy they bring to the home. I have worked at the local Humane Society doing cat socialization and playing kitty matchmaker to their forever humans. I can't wait to meet your furry family members! I work non traditional hours which gives me extra time especially in the mornings to spend getting to know your pet. I can drop on both mornings and evenings. I like to get to know my clients first and find out what their pets daily routines are, that way I can keep the routine going for the animals to keep their stress levels low.
“Michaela recently met Vino and is working in a relationship with him. She is very kind, attentive to Vino’s needs and keeps communication open with us as parents. We can’t wait to continue partnering with her for Vino’s care.”

About: Ive been around small animals for a year now, I would adore to go on walks/adventure with your fur babies! Skills; knows how to feed , clean up after them, brush, give treats and walk for both dogs & cats. I can keep up a fast pace if needed for your small ones!:) I am a college student at Clark college/Wsuv and work part time and study in between those hours, so weekends work best for me! I can get up early for a morning walk or an afternoon jog! For some background information about me! I have worked at a childrens daycare for the past 3 years, keeping your fur babies safe is no challenge to me! I would love to keep your fur babies safe and healthy while you are away! About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. What started as a small childhood side hustle of going out of my way to care for other people's dogs has grown into a lifelong passion. I raised my own dog until he was 16, giving me deep, adaptable experience in senior pet care. I also volunteered at the Humane Society, working with animals of all sizes and breeds, especially the misunderstood ones! Whether we're going on a fast-paced walk, hanging out with a lazy Pug, or just cleaning the litterbox and chilling with your cat, I'm ready to treat your pets like my own. As a remote worker, my daily schedule is generally very flexible! I am open throughout the day, but I prefer to schedule most of my walks and drop-ins for anytime after 11 AM or 12 PM. Since I am also a student, my exact availability might shift a bit depending on my course load for the semester, but I will always keep my calendar updated and communicate clearly with you. Because I currently live in an apartment, I exclusively offer walks and drop-in visits at your home. Honestly, I believe that keeping pets in their familiar environment is the easiest and least stressful option for them. When visiting your home, I will be completely respectful of your space, ensure all doors or gates are securely closed, and keep your pets safe and happy in the environment they already know best.
About: I have been around dogs my entire life, taking care of them is part of who I am. My entire high school career was centered around learning about and taking care of animals. I have trained pets, stubborn and well-mannered alike. Animal care and training just comes naturally to me and I have always felt a special bond with them. I have experience with special needs dogs, and I am willing to do whatever I can to make them feel comfortable. I also have experience with training dogs, and I'm extremely patient with pets that are still learning. I want to assure you that your pets are in capable hands; I can personally guarantee that I will love your pets just as much as you.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, About a year ago I took the big step of adopting a husky of my own (Ela) she had made me realize I love taking care of animals even if they can be a challenge. I am patient with all pets and understand that they need time to learn as well and love them for their flaws and all. I currently only work weekends at my gym job and usually have full availability on weekdays depending on time meaning I am very flexible with scheduling. In my home I have a fenced backyard with plenty of space to run around, I make sure exits / entrances are secure both at my own home and at others to make sure pets can’t get lost, I always keep a eye on my dog Ela during potty breaks to make sure she doesn’t danger herself or others. I pay attention to when a pet / animal has a want or need and will not ignore them treating them as a priority. Ela loves to eat and is a natural scavenger so I make sure no harmful foods or anything that shouldn’t be eaten is left out in the open.
Bennington pet parents share their Rover experiences
Annabelle was comforting, patient and kind to our senior pup! He can take a while to warm up to people, but she did a great job making him feel comfortable during her drop ins with him. Definitely will book with her in the future and am excited/reassured for our booked house sitting with her!

Taking a chance on someone new can be nerve-wracking, but she was truly a blessing! She went above and beyond in every way and made us feel so comfortable while we were away. She sent so many pictures and updates, which gave us such peace of mind, and it was clear our pet was getting lots of love and attention. She was incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and reliable—we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will absolutely be using her again!

Megan has been amazing!! She has taken such good care of my two shepherd mixes and our new tiny puppy. She took the time to play with each of them, tidy up the puppy’s playpen, and took out one of her chew rings when she saw that Penny could possibly choke on it. Thank you for taking care of all our fur babies! 🩷

Our orange tabby is not the most friendly cat. However Jessica wove her magic and he immediately took to her. The photos clearly show that he adored having her (and her treats) here at our house. We arrived home to a very happy kitty (gone 3+ weeks). Leo and his people all agree she is a winner!

We felt very secure with Hannah dropping in and letting our two dogs out, both dogs really like her!! - they had a great time while she was here and she was able to get them some exercise and out while we needed to be gone - We are really excited to have found you!! Cory and Elizabeth
