About: For as long as I can remember, I've lived in a household with pets! As a kid, my family had a little shih tzu and then later on we had a huge pit bull mix (we also almost always had at least 3 cats running around, adding to the craziness). I've always loved getting to spend time with animals because of their vastly different personalities, from the lazy pug I currently have to the crazy cats I take care of for friends! I'd love to get the opportunity to spend time with your pet too, whether it's taking them on long walks or just playing with them around the house! I'm currently a full-time employee with lots of flexibility in my hours. I'm available most days from noon until 10pm! Some days may have slight differences in hours based on if I have any work meetings, but I'm always transparent with my availability! I live in a gated apartment complex currently with a large dog park. Because of my current home, I only offer drop-in visits and walks. Because of this, I'd be visiting your home. Currently I only do drop-in visits, so your pet gets to stay in their own comfy space. I'll follow your routine, and after each visit I'll log what I did and how your pet was doing: meals, potty, playtime, and their energy level. Safety-wise, doors stay locked, windows and gates get double-checked, and leashes are always on for walks. I'll keep your vet and emergency contacts handy, and if anything seems off, you'll hear from me right away.

About: After becoming an elementary school teacher 15 years ago, I began dog sitting for coworkers and some of my parents friends. Then, 10 years ago, I adopted my own dog, Moxie. My 14 year old girl would love to have some friends over to play, she still has a lot of energy for a senior dog! She is fixed, about 45 lbs, fully vaccinated, and gets along with most dogs, especially smaller dogs, we would just need to have them meet first. We have a cozy home with a fully fenced yard in SE Vancouver. I have experience with senior dogs, dogs with vision, hearing, and mobility challenges, dogs that take oral medication, and administering diabetes medication syringes. I have a fully fenced yard, a 14 year old female schnauzer mix that loves to play, prefer crate trained dogs for when I’m away during the day, but dogs are free to roam my house when I’m home and can sleep in my room at night.

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember (I’ve been sneaking animals in my home since I was in diapers😌), and being around them truly makes me happiest. About: I recently moved here from Birmingham, Alabama and pet sat for a decade and I want to continue to connect with new families and their little floofs here in the pnw! I have worked with all ages of cats and dogs. I’ve also taken care of fish, hamsters and even bees on occasions. In the past I have had the same eight families I have looked after and met other pet families through them over time too. I have a fully free schedule since I just moved here and searching for a part time job. In the past I have been in school, worked at restaurants, and consistently pet sat as a combined full time because looking after little ones is a part of my daily routine that I cherish and wish to continue. So I am excited and able to be with your little ones as much as needed. I want the pet(s) to be relaxed and comfortable in their own homes when looking after them in order to not disrupt their regular routine too much. I prefer to meet the family and little one(s) before caring for the animal(s) before overnight sitting or for just drops ins. This way I can be well aquatinted with everyone and bring sense of calm into everyone’s daily routines from the start. This way, I can also learn in person their exact routines, any medication’s if applicable, any quirky things the pets might request in their routines, ie I once had an elderly dog thatI looked after that wanted his dinner “ heated up” in the microwave. So I would make “beeping’ nosies and pretend that his food was fancy like a humans. The family and I found it as a cute and an easy way to make him feel happy and eager to eat. The quirky the better is what I have always looked forward to when bonding with the little ones. For a meet and greet, if the family and animal(s) are ok with more of a “come on in” policy where there’s not a meet and greet first, particularly for drop ins, I’m more than happy to use with this method as well. For dogs in particular, I want to make sure that I keep up with their exercise routines with any amount of walks requested. If the family and floof(s) are more adventurous, I would happily like to take them on hikes, if it is wished to be incorporated into their routines.

About: I worked as a dog walker and pet sitter a number of years back for a professional company and am now finding myself in a place where I’d like to add some dog care back into my life! I have a lot of experience with dogs and have grown up my whole life with big dogs whom I was the primary care giver for. I have also house sat for many family members and friends as well as doing check ins and taking their pups on adventures when needed. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, 2 years ago I took the big step of adopting a husky of my own (Ela) she had made me realize I love taking care of animals even if they can be a challenge. I am patient with all pets and understand that they need time to learn as well and love them for their flaws and all. I work from home or on the go however I set my own schedule so I have open availability for pet care, I understand emergencies come up and I can help. In my home I have a fenced backyard with plenty of space to run around, I make sure exits / entrances are secure both at my own home and at others to make sure pets can’t get lost, I always keep a eye on my dog Ela during potty breaks to make sure she doesn’t danger herself or others. I pay attention to when a pet / animal has a want or need and will not ignore them treating them as a priority. Ela loves to eat and is a natural scavenger so I make sure no harmful foods or anything that shouldn’t be eaten is left out in the open.
