About: I’ve been caring for dogs for 10 years. I was a dog sitter on a military base for years. Plus I have my own 10 year old dachshund that is my best little friend. There’s no such thing as a bad dog, they just all have their own little personalities! I’ve also volunteered in many animal shelters over the past 10 years. I currently work full time as a corrections nurse, however, I miss being around animals and would love to be able to love on doggies before work and on my days off. I work swing shift from 330pm-12am so I am available every day from 6am-2pm and I am available all day on Mon and Tues and every other weekend! I have a mini dachshund who loves other doggies and would gladly come on walks with us! I have a doggy stroller if your pup is older and can’t walk as far but you still want them to get some fresh air. I have no issues crating dogs, taking them on walks, playing with them in the backyard, or taking them to dog parks.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Kendra. Leaving our two cats for an entire week while we were in Mexico for our destination wedding was incredibly nerve-wracking—the longest we’ve ever been away from them. But from the moment we had our meet and greet with Kendra, all of that anxiety melted away. She instantly made us feel confident, reassured, and certain our babies were in the absolute best hands. Before we even made it to the airport, we realized our cameras weren’t working and needed to be reset. I messaged Kendra in a bit of a panic, and she took care of it immediately during her very first visit. Ironically, I never even checked the cameras once—because Kendra went so far above and beyond with her updates. Every day, she sent the sweetest photos and videos along with detailed, thoughtful recaps that made us feel completely connected and at ease. Reading her updates became something we genuinely looked forward to. Kendra’s calm, animal-loving energy even worked magic on our shy “stranger danger” kitty. He not only made appearances, but eventually let her pet him—which any cat parent knows is a huge milestone. Her patience, understanding, and gentle determination truly paid off. As if that weren’t enough, Kendra also tidied up around our apartment, so we came home from a long day of travel to a clean, peaceful space. She cared for our cats as if they were her own and removed every ounce of stress from being away. Kendra is truly an angel, and we feel so incredibly lucky to have found her. We wouldn’t hesitate for a second to have her care for our fur babies again, and we recommend her with our whole hearts.

Jared is wonderful caring for our sweet 13.5yr old boxer. We have such a hard time trusting her care to anyone since her hospice status. When we got in a pinch today and needed someone to care for Alaska, Jared was right there to help us out. Alaska loves him and Jared was so gracious to give her her pills. I couldn't trust anyone else with my sweet grandma girl.
