Jared came over for a meet and greet, where he let Fiona snuggle up to him which he interspersed with little checks, like touching her ears or feet to see how she responded. We sat in the back yard for a while talking about Fiona, his dog Bart, and his background - and after a while he suggested that he thought it would work well to board her at his place. I brought Fiona over there to see how she did in that environment, and she was very comfortable there. Jared sent me photos and updates throughout, reporting on how Fiona and Bart were doing together. They started with short play sessions until they got more familiar with each other. This was my first time ever leaving my dog canela with someone else and for few nights, I honestly was afraid she would have so much anxiety especially being around other dogs. Jared was very kind and kept me updated on how she was doing including sending pictures of her which helped me not feel anxious. He was very knowledgeable and gave me a few tips on how to help my dog not be anxious when being in a crate and with her barking at other dogs. I am definitely going to be requesting Jared to dog sit as he was amazing and I could tell that my dog canela felt welcomed and at home plus made some friends 🥰 I recommend Jared for sure to anyone needing to have their dogs watched for.
The best sitters we have had for our dogs. My golden retriever is getting palliative chemotherapy and has quite a few meds and other needs and I was nervous leaving him for 3 nights. They had no issues with providing the care that Arnie needed and gave me plenty of updates to reassure me. They went on walks, played with the sitters dog, and slept wherever they wanted. An added bonus-the pictures they took were amazing!!!
Caitlin Margaret greeted my dog and incorporated her into their family’s weekend in the home and yard. Her dog taught mine to use a doggy door. She sent an update and photos, showing a happy pup. Whimsy Gal was in great condition when I picked her up. If we lived in Vancouver, we would return frequently.
Colleen came to the rescue of our spring break vacation when our regular dog sitter wasn’t available. It’s hard to find a sitter for our anxious dog, but he was instantly comfortable with Colleen, and that’s a big relief! She took great care of our pup, sent lots of photos and videos to update how he was doing. Our little boy sure seemed happy and comfortable being with his new sitter. Colleen also saved us when we had a flight interruption coming back from our trip. Per our very last minute request, Colleen kept our pup safe one extra day until we were able to come home. We truly appreciate Colleen’s flexibility and understanding. We would definitely book with her again.
Finding Alexa to board and care for Mimi Roo was the best experience I could have wished for. Her many years of taking care of dogs showed by her caring and attentive attitude and approach to my doggie. Alexa helped me tremendously by going above and beyond when an unexpected veterinary visit was required with follow-up care for 1 1/2 weeks. She took it in stride and provided daily medication administration and extra baths. I will definitely ask her to care for my doggie again and highly recommend her skills and dog care services.
Michelle and her family were so lovely! They took such good care of our baby boy. He is such an anxious fella, and quite a character. Michelle gave updates on how he was doing, sent cute photos of him throughout our trip, and gave us some observations of how he does with his anxiety, since he was newly adopted and we weren’t sure of some of his behaviors yet. We would highly recommend Michelle and we will definitely have her watch Howie again in the future!
This was my first time leaving Moses with a sitter, so I was definitely a little anxious going into it. But after meeting Brody and his pup Kenzie, I felt so much better right away. The updates and photos said it all, Moses clearly had the best time (honestly, I think he was on his own little vacation 😂). It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was happy and well cared for. Body was super accommodating to drop off and pick up (even after my flight landed super late). I’d 1000% book again!
It had been over a year since I asked Desiree to watch Chloe, only because we had moved, but we were headed back to Vancouver for Thanksgiving and I needed a place for Chloe for a couple days. I decided to reach out to Desiree, because my dog loved staying with her, and she responded immediately and was more than happy to take my dog again with fairly short notice for a holiday! It was such a relief and I was so grateful! With Desiree, I know my dog is safe and happy.
