Pet care experience

Welcome to your dogs second home!

Hi there! I go by my middle name, Caitlin. I recently lost my companion pet of 13 years, a cavalier king charles spaniel named Riley. While we're not yet ready to take on another as our own, we miss the energy that only pets provide and still have so much love to give. We would love to welcome your pets to their second home. I can provide some special care, such as senior care and medical management and specialize in breeds that struggle with separation anxiety. I am always learning and happy to accommodate your pets unique needs!

Doggy Day Care • May 05, 2026

I was very nervous about leaving Max alone since he has separation anxiety. Caitlin (Margaret) was wonderful with him. I don't know how she found so much time for him. From the pictures, he apparently had fun exploring he house and backyard, going for walks, playing with her son and falling asleep while being carried around! I'm very thankful for the attention he has received, and have a huge sense of relief that I can leave him with her knowing he will be safe and have plenty of attention.

Caitlin Margaret greeted my dog and incorporated her into their family’s weekend in the home and yard. Her dog taught mine to use a doggy door. She sent an update and photos, showing a happy pup. Whimsy Gal was in great condition when I picked her up. If we lived in Vancouver, we would return frequently.

Excellent in every way. Caitlin has a very friendly personality that is excited about meeting and spending time with dogs. Her home is well equipped and comfortable to provide a home away from home for your dog. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone, just don't take away my next reservation!

Caitlin (Margaret) takes care of my August like he is one of their family. I get lots of pictures while I'm gone, so I know he is as spoiled there as he is at home. When I went to pick him up, August didn't want to leave! When I got him into the car he wasn't over-stressed and anxious, and he also wasn't over-tired. Just perfect!

As my pup has gotten older, I’ve become more nervous about leaving her with a sitter. Since she’s needed more supervision and care in her old age. Margaret put me at ease immediately. It was clear she has had experience with senior dogs, and knew what to expect. Our meet and greet was exceptional, she asked me lots of questions to anticipate Lunas needs. The house was super dog friendly. And I was confident she would be in great hands. I received daily updates and check ins, and felt completely At ease that she was being cared for a loved. I will absolutely use them for our future needs! So thankful to have found them ❤️

Caitlin is a wonderful pet sitter! She’s so sweet, caring, and treats Bear like her own dog. I feel completely at ease leaving Bear with her when I’m out of town. She updates me every day with messages and photos, and she’s knowledgeable when it comes to dogs. I would definitely return to her for future care and services for my dog!

Safety, trust & environment

We take daily walks around the quiet neighborhood and nearby wooded trails and have a large, fenced in backyard. We keep our home clean and inviting and treat your pets as part of our family. We pay attention to their specific needs and if it's allowed in your home, it's allowed in ours! I live with my husband and our 11 year old son, who is gentle, quiet, and loving.

A typical day

We love to start the day with cuddles! We take walks, and play until we're ready for rest. We have lots of stimulating toys and games for the curious explorers and cozy spots for the snorers. :)

Please let me know any special needs or behaviors I would need to account for. I do my best to accommodate you. My preference is for smaller companion breeds with moderate energy levels.
