I currently work from home full time and I have an extremely flexible schedule. I am available Monday through Sunday, all hours of the day and night, I have 2 older children (15,21) that live here and help. We provide 24 hour care and monitoring so your pup is never left alone I am willing to accommodate most situations. Please be honest and forthcoming about any behavioral issues or concerns your pups might have, I am able to provide better care when there are no surprises. Depending on the situation and the level of care your pup may need there might be an extra fee added on for certain situations, but that would be discussed prior to the stay . I have experience in training , as well as training in animal behavior. I also take pride in creating a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for your loved one while you’re away. I love sending updates and pictures or video threw out the day during their stay so that you may feel a little more comfortable and relaxed knowing how your pup is doing throughouteach day! Also I have 2 friendly little pups of my own so your dog will have fun socializing and playing . They have a lot of fun!

I have a big fully fenced in back yard that is pet safety and gives them plenty of room to run and play ball, get out their zoomies, and play chase , catch, fetch or whatever fun game they wanna play . We exercise the dogs frequently outside and when the weather is good , and on rainy days have some puzzles and a ton of toys inside to keep them busy . Someone is always supervising and they are never left unattended. My entire house is pet friendly. My children are older and help to offer around the clock care and supervision and are also trained in pet safety. I am also insured with my own pet grooming/ care insurance. I do meet and greets with every one of my dogs to make sure they will be a good fit and I always let each person know if I’m watching more than one family‘s dog. I’m also OK with doing single families dogs. I send multipledaily updates with pictures/ video so you can rest easy knowing your pup/s are being treated like family!

I need to know their daily schedule and routine to keep life as close to “normal” as possible for them. Also every important I know of any and all health conditions, allergies, any behavioral issues or habits good and bad,, examples would be : barking, chewing, food aggression , leash aggression, do they guard the owners , are they house trained,do they have accidents , have do they try to escape, do they dig , do they have separation anxiety, very important if they do well with other dogs or not,I can’t keep your dog and my dogs safe if I’m not informed of any and all behavior issues before the stay, ( it doesn’t mean I won’t care for them it would be a case by case basis and extra fees might possibly apply, if I find out about difficult behaviors after the dog is already dropped off and nothing was discussed before the stay also extra fees might apply, but, no surprises! ) Definitely need to know likes, favorite treat, best place for scritches, everything. Also an idea of daily routine please. I want to know your dog so that I can better understand and care for them as you would so they feel more comfortable and you can Rest easy knowing your pup is in good hands and being well cared for! I am very understanding and laid back and well trained to handle most situations. Don’t be afraid to be honest 😄 or ask questions
A typical day
We start our day off with a little outside time to potty and and play and wake up a little bit, lol after everyone has pottied we head back in for some breakfast, we make sure no matter what each dog is fed in a separately and all are supervised. After breakfast, we usually lounge around until the pups get ready to play then we head outside for some playtime. We throw the ball , frisbee, play with toys some tug-of-warhave , they run out their zoomies all depending on the weather of course . Inside We have a bunch of toys and multiple puzzles, for all different types of dogs, sniff Matts , and chews to occupy just about any dog or they settle in for a nap, whatever feels right at the time. We offer several times of outside exercise and indoor play time. My yard is plenty big enough for any size dog to get plenty of exercise throughout the day and I wanted to add any dog that requires basic coat care will receive brushing andcombing that during their stay to assure there will be no matting. Also, if interested professional Grooming services are offered separate from Rover so you can come home to a freshly groomed/bathed pup ask me about that during the meeting and greet.

I have been in the pet care/ grooming industry for over 13 years. I love dogs I made them my life’s work and I love it! I have experience working with all types of dog behaviors from rambunctious puppies to slowed down seniors and the many different life stages and behaviors in between. I am able to provide safe environment to all the dogs in my care. I offer different service boarding, to full service grooming., I am knowledgeable and professional and love to answer any questions.

niki watched bruno for twenty days while i was away in europe and she was honestly amazing. she sent so many good photos and videos the whole time i was gone, communicated constantly, and even gave him a bath before i got back. on top of all that, she handled his daily medication routine effortlessly and made sure he stayed right on schedule. bruno came home so happy, healthy, and completely well cared for. couldn’t recommend her enough, ten out of ten dogsitter!!
This woman loves dogs. She loves dogs so much she has built her entire house and career around them. I could tell my dog was in good hands when he sat down right next to her during our interview. I got multiple pictures of him sent every day during his stay. There is no doubt he was loved and cared for, with confirmation of every item I asked for (meds on a certain day etc).
Such a great experience! I feel confident my dog is safe and loved. Its great to be able to leave him at a place where I don't worry how he's being treated and I know he's comfortable. I also love that we get photos so we can see how happy he is. I highly recommend Niki!
Niki was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Greta! She took such great care of her while we were on vacation, and the updates and pictures gave us so much peace of mind. We could tell Greta was getting lots of love and attention the entire time we were away. When we picked her up, she came home healthy, happy, and relaxed. We highly recommend Niki and will definitely trust her with Greta again!
