“We had a wonderful experience with Julie as our pet sitter for our 2 elderly cats when we were away. She's a great communicator, also sent photos of our kitties while visiting them & followed our instructions regarding their care and watering flowers. We look forward to her watching our pets in the future!”
“We love having Lisa come to visit our kitties when we’re out of town. Our kitties are super skittish normally but they love when Lisa comes to feed them. Thank you Lisa!!”

“We have a very big and anxious dog who is hesitant around new people. This is the second time we had Annabelle watch our dogs and she has been so great with him each time. She is patient and kind and willing to move at his pace. She is also a great communicator and went above and beyond trying to make him comfortable.”

“10/10 I will definitely be reaching out to rebook in the future! I had Madelyn drop in to check on my dogs during the day, and right from our meet and greet I knew they would be in great hands:) She is very professional and great with communication. She sent photos of the dogs during her visit which made me feel at ease knowing my dogs were being well cared for while I was away!”

“Pamela took wonderful care of our cat for a weekend with great communication and photos! He warmed up to her at the very first meeting. She really understands cats. We really appreciate the quality of care, kindness and attention to detail.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. What started as a small childhood side hustle of going out of my way to care for other people's dogs has grown into a lifelong passion. I raised my own dog until he was 16, giving me deep, adaptable experience in senior pet care. I also volunteered at the Humane Society, working with animals of all sizes and breeds, especially the misunderstood ones! Whether we're going on a fast-paced walk, hanging out with a lazy Pug, or just cleaning the litterbox and chilling with your cat, I'm ready to treat your pets like my own. As a remote worker, my daily schedule is generally very flexible! I am open throughout the day, but I prefer to schedule most of my walks and drop-ins for anytime after 11 AM or 12 PM. Since I am also a student, my exact availability might shift a bit depending on my course load for the semester, but I will always keep my calendar updated and communicate clearly with you. Because I currently live in an apartment, I exclusively offer walks and drop-in visits at your home. Honestly, I believe that keeping pets in their familiar environment is the easiest and least stressful option for them. When visiting your home, I will be completely respectful of your space, ensure all doors or gates are securely closed, and keep your pets safe and happy in the environment they already know best.
“Timely, does everything we needed, and goes above and beyond to try to spend time with a shy cat :) Mine refused to come out and greet her but she got me a picture for every visit! Also appreciated her willingness to work with the hassle of getting into and finding a unit in a huge building without us home.”

About: The fact that my fur babies on my everything is what I believe that’s me apart from others. They’re like my children. They are my emotional support. They hold a very high place in my heart and soul. I currently work for our Vancouver Public school district special needs kids. School is going to be out very shortly. Therefore, I will have the summer available. My cats are my everything. They are all indoor cats, but have many toys many scratching posts towers and things to keep them stimulated. I spoil them as much as I can with their pet fountains and love.
“Courtney did a fantastic job taking care of our cat! She went above and beyond what is expected from a sitter, and we felt confident that our baby was in good hands. Thank you Courtney!”

“Marissa is awesome. Very friendly and reliable. She took care of our dog Hana while we were away. She sent pics, fed her, let her out to go potty, and spent time with her. Marissa will definitely be our go-to from now on :) Thanks Marissa!”

“Michaela recently met Vino and is working in a relationship with him. She is very kind, attentive to Vino’s needs and keeps communication open with us as parents. We can’t wait to continue partnering with her for Vino’s care.”

“Selma has the biggest heart and is our go-to sitter. Once again, she exceeded our expectations being able to extend our booking to care for our cats during my initial recovery phase of surgery. Thank you so much, Selma <3”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a kid, which has given me a deep understanding of their needs and behaviors. This experience allows me to connect with them on a personal level. I also have training skills for puppies. My goal is to provide a loving and safe environment, tailored to each dog’s unique needs. I’m a college student and have a part- time job, but always make sure my pet doesn’t feel lonely by providing her enough attention. I prioritize pet care by scheduling dedicated times for walks, play, and feeding. I ensure flexibility to accommodate each pet’s unique needs while maintaining my routine. In my home, I ensure a safe environment by pet-proofing spaces and providing cozy resting areas. At clients' homes, I maintain routines, respect their space, and prioritize safety through secure gates and proper supervision. Trust is built through open communication and consistent updates.
“Amazing pet sitter! Very attentive to details and communicating! She made sure that Bravo was well fed and taken care of! Would highly recommend to anyone needing their pets taken care of”

About: I have had cats and dogs my whole life. I am looking to gain more experience taking care of animals! I also have experience pet sitting for my neighbors and friends! I am working part time right now. My schedule is flexible but can be a little unpredictable. Most of the time, I work Tuesday, Saturdays and pick up another shift during the week. I will always be off of work by 5pm. I am also a student on summer break. I leave for school on August 26th! I'm super flexible! I'm able to watch your dogs when they go outside or take them on walks. I would love to snuggle and play with your animals whenever!

About: As a new Rover sitter, I look forward to meeting new families and caring for their pets. I've consistently cared for dogs & cats for neighbors and friends over the last 8 years and have extensive experience with various kinds of animals. I treat pets as family and have experience with drop- in visits, dog walking, and overnight stays- always providing care with kindness and attention. I connect well with all pets, from senior animals needing tender care to energetic puppies. I'm communicative, detail-oriented, and punctual, always eager to care for your pets and provide peace of mind when you're away or busy. Please feel free to reach out to set up a meet-and-greet so I can get to know you and your furry babies! I just graduated from WSUV and plan to take some time off before jumping into a career. I have a very open and flexible schedule, and I will be happy to work with any client in a way that best meets their needs. I have personally used Rover many times for my own pet, and I understand how much flexibility is appreciated. I am happy to diligently follow any instructions regarding how the owner would like their pet cared for in their home. I am punctual and can arrive at the time requested for a drop-in visit. I can attentively follow any instructions, for example, precise dosing for meds or the amount of food to give, etc. Additionally, I pride myself on being very communicative.
About: Whether you're away for a day or an extended trip, I provide personalized care, fun playtime, and plenty of belly rubs for your furry family member. With a calm presence, flexible availability, and a true love for dogs of all breeds and sizes, I make sure your pup feels safe, loved, and right at home. Walks, cuddles, feeding, meds; I’ve got it covered! It’s just me and my two teenagers in the house - they are 17 and 19 and both have their own cars so I rarely see them! They’ve grown up around having a dog, and continually pressure me to have another one 😵💫 We had a bully breed mix, Celine Dion who sadly passed from old age in 2019. She had diabetes towards the end of her life, so I’m familiar with giving medication/shots if necessary. Since then we’ve regularly looked after our friends’ dogs until we fostered Simba in 2024 - we had him for 10 months until he was adopted. Because of having family in England, I want to be able to travel there frequently so am not ready to have a permanent dog again yet, but I LOVE having dogs come and stay with me when my calendar allows. I work from home so have flexibility in my routine and am always available for my visitors’ needs. I like to take a morning walk, and an evening one too. I’m not away from home often. I have a fully fenced yard and my neighborhood has beautiful walking trails, that I use whether I am walking a dog, or just walking alone. I’ve fostered rescue dogs and have experience of high anxiety dogs. I’m 6 feet tall and strong, and my last foster was great with people but not so much with other dogs we met on our walks, so I’m used to avoiding them, if necessary! I am happy to send photos to you whilst your dog is in my care, and will communicate with you as frequently as you would like.

Bruce and Amy scheduled a meet and greet before we left on vacation. They are very dependable and detail oriented. They ask clarifying questions if not sure about the details. They consistently arrive according to the schedule and provide lots of attention. They send photos and updates on every visit. It has been a great experience!

Sydney took such good care of my dog! He is very reactive and sensitive so it’s been hard to find someone who isn’t family to take care of him. I really appreciate how Sydney was very patient with him and was able to get him to go outside even when he was hesitant at first. They were also great about communicating with me and sending photos! I’m so glad I found someone who really gets reactive dogs.

We had a wonderful experience with our sitter Sierra! She checked in with me every day before visiting, gave Winxy lots of attention and treats, and made sure she was well cared for while we were away. It was so reassuring to receive updates and know Winxy was getting love and playtime each day. We came home to a happy well fed cat and a clean litter box, which made all the difference. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter!

Taking a chance on someone new can be nerve-wracking, but she was truly a blessing! She went above and beyond in every way and made us feel so comfortable while we were away. She sent so many pictures and updates, which gave us such peace of mind, and it was clear our pet was getting lots of love and attention. She was incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and reliable—we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will absolutely be using her again!

Our orange tabby is not the most friendly cat. However Jessica wove her magic and he immediately took to her. The photos clearly show that he adored having her (and her treats) here at our house. We arrived home to a very happy kitty (gone 3+ weeks). Leo and his people all agree she is a winner!
