About: After becoming an elementary school teacher 15 years ago, I began dog sitting for coworkers and some of my parents friends. Then, 10 years ago, I adopted my own dog, Moxie. My 14 year old girl would love to have some friends over to play, she still has a lot of energy for a senior dog! She is fixed, about 45 lbs, fully vaccinated, and gets along with most dogs, especially smaller dogs, we would just need to have them meet first. We have a cozy home with a fully fenced yard in SE Vancouver. I have experience with senior dogs, dogs with vision, hearing, and mobility challenges, dogs that take oral medication, and administering diabetes medication syringes. If you have a crate trained dog for boarding, I would be away from the house for about 6.5 hours M-F. On weekends, I am much more flexible. I have a fully fenced yard, a 14 year old female schnauzer mix that loves to play, prefer crate trained dogs for when I’m away during the day, but dogs are free to roam my house when I’m home and can sleep in my room at night.
