“We have 2 bonded sibling Cockapoos who do not do well with other dogs so traditional boarding wasn't an option for us. Thankfully we found Michaela who has been dog/house sitting for us for over 2 years now. She loves our dogs and they love her, and it shows. She is very good about providing updates, sending pictures and never leaves them alone for too long. She walks them everyday and truly engages with them over different activities and games. Our dogs seem sad when she leaves and when we come home! She leaves our house cleaner than how we left it and is very respectful of our space. The peace of mind she provides us while on vacation is truly priceless because we know our home and our dogs are in the best hands. We have tried many other sitters on Rover prior to Michaela and were always disappointed. She is really a gem that will leave you impressed and booking her again, I promise.”

“Thank You Madx for taking such great care of us! We had so much fun on our overnight with you and our daily walks while our people were on vacation!! We can hardly wait to see you again. Love Mickey and Dottie Jo Howard.”

“Leaving our senior 12.5 yr old Boxer for the very first time for 8 days was unimaginable without Jared bring able to walk her everyday. We had more concerns with new diagnosis, but Jared was kind, caring and compassionate with the needs of our girl. Jared went over and above to make sure Alaska was walked in cooler weather and was so careful with her. We definitely were so fortunate to have found him and felt such at ease while we were away that Alaska was getting the best care.”

“Kacey is great, she does such a great job caring for my dog. When Tana might have been stung by a bee she contacted Rover’s Vet, and monitored her just to make sure there would be no reaction. Highly recommend!”

“Jennifer has been great. She takes our 4 month old puppy on a walk 4 days a week. She send us pics during the walk and let's us know how Rassie is doing. We will continue our walks.”

About: I am high energy and attentive to your pets needs and care. Their safety and comfort is my priority! I value quality over quantity in terms of my work ethic. I am a part time student with a flexible schedule! I picked this up as a fun side hobby, as my elderly pup has just passed away at 18 years old! <3 I love nurturing animals, and am sensitive to their needs and the desires of the pet’s parents. I do not currently have a set schedule for school, so I can accommodate to fit my schedule around desired pet care! Please don’t hesitate to reach out and inquire :) My number one concern is safety. I like to ere on the side of caution with all pets. I am conscious of health and safety hazards with handling small-large dogs as well as cats. I grew up in Vermont with lots of farm life. I’m very familiar with chickens, ducks, goats, sheep, and small aquatic reptiles. As a child I developed a deep fascination for wildlife and animals. I was a dedicated Animal Planet and Dogs 101 fan! I used to borrow dog encyclopedia books from the library and have retained the information up until this day. I am very comfortable and confident with animals.

“Austin is truly one of the most caring and loving people I have ever met and this sentiment that I have only to continues to be reaffirmed the longer I know him and the more interactions with him I have. He is not only kind, caring, and loving of all people but also all animals. I have seen first hand how much he cares about his own animals but I have also seen him go out of his way and well above and beyond to ensure a stray or lost animal was taken care of. I used to consider myself strictly a dog person but he not only encouraged me but also went to shelters with me to prove to me that I was capable of more and I ended up adopting a kitten who has grown into a very loving and affectionate part of my family.”

“Jennifer is awesome! She went above and beyond the minimum, taking extra time to play with my dog and to water my plants when it got too hot! She did a great job walking my 4-legged baby, and I would highly recommend her.”

About: I've cared for dogs since I was a kid! Growing up, we always had 3-4 dogs in our house at a time, from tiny Yorkies to Golden Retrievers. I'm a dog owner myself- caring for a large standard Goldendoodle that I’ve raised since he was 8 weeks old. I love dogs and love to be active with them- playing outside, going for walks, etc. I work a 9-5 during the week but I am available on most weekends. I'd love the opportunity to care and play with your pet. I go on frequent walks with my dog and take him to the dog park often. I like to be active with my dog but also love to just lounge around and relax.

“Lisa is a great communicator. Great with updates and sending pictures. And she has such a kind and gentle demeanor. My dog immediately loved her and her son.”

About: I may not have much experience with pet care experience but I do have my own dogs that I love dearly. I have also pet sit before and love to meet new animals. I am very responsible and trustworthy. I currently work part time but I’m looking for some extra money to save for college. I I usually work late afternoon, early evening so I can spend all morning and early afternoon with your pet. I work about 3-4 days a week. I have a fenced in yard and two dogs to keep your dog entertained. I also can accommodate to whatever your dog needs and is most comfortable for them.
