About: I love critters, so I know pet hair is the secret ingredient! In all my 51 years, I have never been without a pet. I’ve seen ALL the poops, the barfs, and have the best pee cleaning tricks. I usually adopt older rescues, so I have administered various forms of medication including sub-dermal fluids, oral fluids and tablets, flea medication, ear drops and cleaning, teeth brushing and even suppositories. If your pet has special needs and will let me approach, I can get them their meds, even if your critter is uncooperative. I've also had experience with dogs that aren't "dog people," and otherwise aggressive dogs. I can and will take special care on walks, including yellow flagging if requested. Trust me to care for your pet, and they'll be loved just like they're my own! Caring for your critter[s] is what I do. Fortunately, I can choose my work, and I choose to help people take the best care of the ones who love us unconditionally Your rules and guidelines are my rules and guidelines. I am committed to supporting you in your structure and communication style so your four-legged (or tripod!) family member has consistent and clear routines.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was 13, my love and respect for animals is stronger than ever. I’m dedicated to caring for them with responsibility, making sure they are well looked after, happy, and showered with affection, just like part of the family. I’m very flexible with my pet care routine, easily adapting to the needs of each animal and the schedules of every family. Whether during the day or throughout the week, I strive to provide consistent, loving, and personalized care so that every pet feels safe and happy. I live in a very safe neighborhood, which gives extra peace of mind to those who trust me. My friends and neighbors often leave their pets in my care when they travel, knowing they’ll be in a protected environment, receiving plenty of love, attention, and the care they need while their families are away.
“Kacey is great, she does such a great job caring for my dog. When Tana might have been stung by a bee she contacted Rover’s Vet, and monitored her just to make sure there would be no reaction. Highly recommend!”

About: I've taken care of animals professionally and personally since I was a kid. Starting with cats, then getting dogs and learning to train them. In high school I started getting into bigger and smaller pets - rats and then horses. I even have experience with caring for fish. If you've got it, I can learn how to care for it just like you would! I work at a vet ER, so I can do late night check ins for the first half of the week or almost anytime on my weekends (Thursday, Friday, Saturday). How you care for your pet is how I will care for your pet. Tell me all the nitty gritty details and I'll do everything I can to go above and beyond to make sure your animals get only the best.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life—dogs, cats, and everything in between. I’m a hands-on, attentive caregiver who truly enjoys getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether it’s high-energy pups who love long walks or older dogs who need a gentle pace and a little extra TLC, I adapt to their needs. What sets me apart? I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and I treat your pets like they’re my own. I’m comfortable with administering medication, handling large breeds, and managing pets with anxiety or reactivity. I’m also happy to care for multiple pets at once or follow specific routines you’ve built at home. I understand that leaving your pet with someone new can be stressful, so I always aim to communicate clearly, send updates, and provide peace of mind. Pet care fits perfectly into my current routine—I’m looking for flexible side income while I build my small business. That means my schedule is wide open, and I’m available for daytime walks, drop-ins, and even last-minute bookings. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine to keep things as comfortable and stress-free as possible! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for your dog, cat, or another companion, I treat every animal with the same attention and respect I give my own. In your home, I stick closely to your established routines—whether that’s feeding times, medication, potty breaks, or favorite walking routes. I make sure pets feel secure and cared for by keeping their environment calm, predictable, and clean. I’m mindful of safety at all times: watching for open doors, avoiding hazards on walks, and making sure your pet is never left in a risky situation. I also send regular updates so you know exactly how your pet is doing while you're away.
“Jennifer is awesome! She went above and beyond the minimum, taking extra time to play with my dog and to water my plants when it got too hot! She did a great job walking my 4-legged baby, and I would highly recommend her.”

About: I have had animals in my life since the time I was a child. I know how to properly train, care for, groom, deliver and aid animals from home at emergency. In the last two years I’ve foster two dogs, a Siberian husky and an Australian kelpie. My last dog I owned was a Pomeranian mix, a lovely loyal dog. I have experience in large, medium and small breeds. I know how to handle harder to deal with dogs due to the livelihood of the breeds I’ve had. I want to open up my home for all animals. Dogs and cats. I have a spacious home, a fenced yard and a heated den in the garage if an Animal is more comfortable in their own space. (: I’m a full time stay at home mom so I’m able to be present fully for any animal and their needs. My daily routine consists of waking up very early and going to bed late. I have two kids and they keep me going. We have a routine of breakfast, play, lunch, nap, play, dinner. And with a fully fenced yard, my kids get lots of outside time, where your animal would join us. Of if your animal prefers to stay inside and watch from the window they will have that option too. (: I have a fenced yard, and garage lounge if needed. Food and water is set out freely unless intended otherwise by the owner. I am big on sticking to what the routine is of the animal and not changing that because they’re already in a different place.

About: We have been house sitting / pet sitting for several months this year already! Clark has had dogs all his life and Kimberly has had cats all her life. We house sit for the same family every year that has 1 dog, 1 cat, 9 bunnies, 9 chickens, some fish and a large garden. At my old job I had two dogs around that I took on walks and to the vet and for baths all the time. We have plenty of experience and love animals. We are returning home to the Portland area after traveling for 6 months overseas! We are hoping to explore different areas of Portland while caring for your pets :) We have both recently started to look for new jobs so we have all the time in the world for your animals. We have great reviews and love being around the animals. We have experience watching all sorts of animals - dogs, cats, chickens, bunnies, and fish. We always leave the home cleaner than when we arrived and have no problems reaching out with questions or concerns.
About: I grew up in a two dog two cat household so I've had plenty experience taking care of both. I can change a doggy diaper, clean up vomit, and cuddle up with the best of them. I have two cats of my own and often help my friends with their dogs when they go out of town. I'm a remote student with plenty of open day and night hours for pet caretaking and pet walking. Less available on Tuesday/Thursday unless you need house sitting and I can work from there. I care for pets in their own homes, as I have two cats of my own and they need their own space. I can do short overnight jobs or longer multi-check in jobs that allow me to still take care of my own cats in collaboration with my partner. Very willing to send update pictures and videos of your pets enjoying themselves while you are gone.
