“Leaving our senior 12.5 yr old Boxer for the very first time for 8 days was unimaginable without Jared bring able to walk her everyday. We had more concerns with new diagnosis, but Jared was kind, caring and compassionate with the needs of our girl. About: I’ve had different breeds of cats and dogs over the years with ranging needs and energy levels. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and administer applicable medications for their pets - all with a the kind of love and attention they would receive as if they were in their own home! I offer a variety of services - check it out! I work as a surgical dental assistant 7 days in a two weeks time frame, and am otherwise at home. My boyfriend is home everyday with our daughter while going to school online in the evenings. Bottom line is one or both of us will be actively with your pet(s) at all times! We like to service one owners pet(s) at a time and will avoid overlapping services. I have a large fenced yard, walking distance from a neighborhood park with a trail. Our neighbors have dogs which are all just as friendly as they are.

16. Holly S.
“Holly cared for my 2 beagles while I was in the hospital giving birth. She did an outstanding job sticking to their complex routine and providing them with daily walks. She gave me so much peace of mind and daily updates and photos. Would highly recommend holly as a pet caregiver.”

17. Harrison A.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all sizes and demeanors since I was 10. I’ve always had a unique connection with animals and love their company. Expert in reactive dog care (thanks to my sweet boy Captain, a 70lb heeler/lab/pit mix) as well as positive reinforcement training (thanks to my sweet girl Sally, a CCI change of career golden retriever/lab mix). I’ve volunteered at multiple different animal shelters and have fostered many pups. I also am no stranger to senior care and the gentleness it requires. I currently work full-time from home. My schedule is very flexible and I can be available as needed throughout the week and even more so on the weekends! I am here to make sure you feel comfortable leaving your fur babies. I will be sure to follow all instructions and always keep you updated.

18. Taisia D.
“Last month I urgently needed to go on a business trip, and my cat could not be left with anyone. Then my friends advised me to contact Taisia. She looked after my pet and sent a photo report so that I would not worry. I picked up the cat happy and relaxed. Thanks for taking care of me.”

About: I am 33 and a Vancouver resident. I have loved and owned dogs since I was in 1st grade. I have and have had 8 dogs, 7 cats, parrots including a macaw and conure I currently have, reptiles/amphibians, and fish. Aina(passed 2021), a blue blood alapaha bulldog, Currently, Nas- Australian Shepard/husky, Myo-mini Dachshund, Ahni-Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Since making this profile I have lost a chihuahua who was amazing and loved. I regularly take them out hiking or the dog park, constantly out with Myo and Ahni these days, mostly off leash as I know how to work with dogs fairly well:) I worked at dog daycare and boarding facilities for a few years in Portland and Vancouver, so I have worked with about every breed professionally. I would really enjoy to care for your own pups and follow anything they need for their care. Every dog I interact becomes as important as my own and each one gets the same quality of care from me. Dogs will always have empty bladders, feel secure, and be happy because they've gotten all the needs of socialization in my watch. I have a very open schedule, so shoot me over a message and I will respond faster than most. If you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to message. I am eager right now, as of November 2024 to take on new clients! -Walks -I can do drop on visits whether that be if you're at work or on vacation and gone for a while..(I can provide boarding done at you're home) As long as you don't live far out of my home area in East Vancouver My life is pet care, why not add or two or three more :D Would love to meet your loves and love them as my own. I will follow any and all instructions given, and do it EXACTLY how you like it. I have done this before for clients, and I make sure to be as prompt as can be. Can do it all, and have fun doing it. Will do anything for your pet, with love!

20. David R.
“My dog loved going on walks with David. After each walk I noticed Woody’s tail was wagging in a full circle (he reserves full circles for his favorite things). David was kind and patient with Woody. He was punctual and the communication was excellent. The walks included photos. David definitely has a way with animals. I would re-book again and I highly recommend him.”
