“Jared did an excellent job boarding Fiona, a ~2.5 year old pit mix that is brand new to our home. Jared came over for a meet and greet, where he let Fiona snuggle up to him which he interspersed with little checks, like touching her ears or feet to see how she responded. We sat in the back yard for a while talking about Fiona, his dog Bart, and his background - and after a while he suggested that he thought it would work well to board her at his place. I brought Fiona over there to see how she did in that environment, and she was very comfortable there. Jared sent me photos and updates throughout, reporting on how Fiona and Bart were doing together. They started with short play sessions until they got more familiar with each other. Jared was always quick to respond to text messages. Thanks Jared for looking after Fiona, you'll be seeing her again soon.”

About: I have had cats my entire life, from a mean old barn cat who only liked me to a spunky gray kitten who now runs my home. I’ve been scooping and cleaning litter boxes since I was 7 years old and still do it to this day. About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember (I’ve been sneaking animals in my home since I was in diapers😌), and being around them truly makes me happiest. Bones can also have some behaviors like jumping on people or the counter tops, & she did amazing setting that boundary with him not allowing him to hustle her & get away with being a menace! Skills; knows how to feed , clean up after them, brush, give treats and walk for both dogs & cats. I can get up early for a morning walk or an afternoon jog! For some background information about me! About: I've taken care of animals professionally and personally since I was a kid. Starting with cats, then getting dogs and learning to train them. In high school I started getting into bigger and smaller pets - rats and then horses. I even have experience with caring for fish. If you've got it, I can learn how to care for it just like you would! About: I’ve had pets since the age of five, and have loved taking care of animals since! I’ve helped take care of plenty of dogs, big and small. I keep things clean, secure, and consistent with your pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and safe. I also make sure doors are locked, pets are secure, and I’m happy to provide updates so you have peace of mind while you’re away.

I've been around all kinds of dogs most of my life and doggie and house sat through high school and college to support myself. I have a huge fenced yard and if your sweetie likes the company of other dogs I love field trips to the dog park!
About: I grew up with dogs and cats my entire life. I have periodically been a pet sitter for 5 years. I currently work at an animal hospital in Portland, OR as a kennel assistant. I also have experience working at a doggie daycare. I work Monday through Friday from 3:30pm to 7:30pm every week. Other than that I’m very flexible I have all weekend open and weekdays before and after my job. Every home and animal have different needs and environment’s. I would follow instructions specifically given by owners and parents to provide and safe and fun atmosphere for every pet.
