About: I have cared for all sorts animals my whole life, from as small as a gerbil to as large as a llama. I have previous experience working in a boarding kennel and veterinary office. I have experience working with special needs animals and administrating medications. I work full time, 6-8 hour shifts 5-6 days a week. I am almost always done with work between 1 and 2 pm at the latest. I don't have consistent days off but can be flexible with availability. For pets who need extra care throughout the day (potty breaks every 4 hours, 3+ meals, etc.), I can typically work accommodations into my schedule for those in the 98664/98683/98684 area. I am well-versed in behavioral signs of animals and will make them feel safe and trusted while I am in their homes. My main goal is always to support your pets in whatever way they need.

About: I've taken care of animals professionally and personally since I was a kid. Starting with cats, then getting dogs and learning to train them. In high school I started getting into bigger and smaller pets - rats and then horses. I even have experience with caring for fish. If you've got it, I can learn how to care for it just like you would! I work at a vet ER, so I can do late night check ins for the first half of the week or almost anytime on my weekends (Thursday, Friday, Saturday). About: After becoming an elementary school teacher 15 years ago, I began dog sitting for coworkers and some of my parents friends. Then, 10 years ago, I adopted my own dog, Moxie. My 14 year old girl would love to have some friends over to play, she still has a lot of energy for a senior dog! She is fixed, about 45 lbs, fully vaccinated, and gets along with most dogs, especially smaller dogs, we would just need to have them meet first. We have a cozy home with a fully fenced yard in SE Vancouver. I have experience with senior dogs, dogs with vision, hearing, and mobility challenges, dogs that take oral medication, and administering diabetes medication syringes. About: I’ve had dogs, cats, and small animals my whole life. I’ve even fostered with rescues in the past. I recently lost my own dog and thought maybe I could cuddle someone else’s while they travel. I work from home and have a fully fenced yard which your pet would have access to at any time they like! I work from home for the Dept of Veterans Affairs and usually have the back door open for access to the fenced yard throughout the day. Outside of errands, I am typically home with them. I have a fenced yard with plenty of access for the pets. When they’re here, they’re family so if they want in the sofa: great! Sleep in bed: even better! Or if they prefer the safety of their crate, that’s good too. I want them to feel comfortable. Unless they’re from the same household, I prefer to keep one dog at a time to make sure they get undivided attention. But, if they’re social and like to play, I live super close to the dog park! If you just want drop-in visits or walks, just let me know how I can best accommodate and I’ll be happy to work something out to suit your needs.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, 2 years ago I took the big step of adopting a husky of my own (Ela) she had made me realize I love taking care of animals even if they can be a challenge. I am patient with all pets and understand that they need time to learn as well and love them for their flaws and all. I work from home or on the go however I set my own schedule so I have open availability for pet care, I understand emergencies come up and I can help. In my home I have a fenced backyard with plenty of space to run around, I make sure exits / entrances are secure both at my own home and at others to make sure pets can’t get lost, I always keep a eye on my dog Ela during potty breaks to make sure she doesn’t danger herself or others. I pay attention to when a pet / animal has a want or need and will not ignore them treating them as a priority. Ela loves to eat and is a natural scavenger so I make sure no harmful foods or anything that shouldn’t be eaten is left out in the open.
