Emily did great for a first meeting and walk with our pup. She can be slow to warm up and Emily was patient and very honest and communicative with how the visit went. Appreciate the extra step of cleaning up a mess our kitties made that wasn’t on the bill!

Stella and I feel so fortunate that we have Jung as her dog walker! Finding a dog walker you can truly trust is so hard, but Jung made us feel completely at ease from the moment she stepped foot past the gate. Her vast experience and volunteer work with dogs is obvious in the way she handles Stella, paying close attention to every safety detail on their walks. Her communication is also top-notch—I always get wonderful photo updates and detailed summaries right after the walk. We couldn't ask for a more reliable, professional, and caring walker. Highly recommend Jung to any pet parent!

I am so very pleased with my experience using Ching for the first time to walk my 2 small dogs while I was at a convention. She was very responsive, sent me photos and updates, even letting me know that one of my dogs who has had previous leg surgery was not up to a full walk, so she carried her for a bit. I really appreciated the peace of mind knowing that my pups were happy and well looked after while I couldn’t be home. Thank you!!

About: Ever since I was little I can remember always taking care of others - people, dogs, cats and many other little creatures along the way. Now as the new season approaches and spring welcomes us, I am now looking for new work and would love to care and connect with all the fur babies in our community here in Downtown Vancouver! I have open availability between 6am and 9pm everyday! More then enough to care for your fur babies and lend a helping hand:) Thank you! I have two sassy girl cats who love their floor to ceiling cat tree and many toys they go crazy for! With sassy being said, my services will be provided in home only as Indie and Luna are very particular with who they let into their home😅

About: I’ve had my own personal pets all my life and believe pets are family and treat them as such. I have also taken care of friends, and family pets as well. Currently, I do not have any pets of my own as I lost my 2 Boston terriers last year. Now I’m dedicating my time to help others care for their pet family members. I love animals and anyone who knows me, knows this about me. I work from home full-time and I can work from anywhere that has internet. I just bring my laptop and I’m able to care for your fur kids all day :) I am especially good at cuddles all day, walks, and feeding/playing with your fur kids. My motto is animals are better than humans because they are. I love them!

About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for a variety of animals, from dogs and cats to large lizards, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I believe in providing the highest quality of care and an enthusiastic about engaging with your animals. A lot of people tend to thing that animals, especially cats, only require the bare minimum, but the reality is that for the best quality of life they need consistent and engaged care. To me this means deep cleaning litter boxes, ensuring they’re cleaned at least once a day, cleaning bowls regularly, engaging in active play and exercise/mental stimulation, and being patient when shy animals need time to warm up. Leaving your animals is hard—on both of you—having someone you can trust and rely on makes all the difference. I am so excited to meet your pets and give them love. I currently work from home full time but can flex hours where needed or work from any home that has wifi and a place for me to set up. I am passionate about making sure that spaces I am in are safe, comfortable, and clean for your pets. This means that I am also available to provide light cleaning while I am there. I am especially skilled with shy or easily scared animals and have a lot of experience working with them to get used to people. I currently only take pets in my home that are comfortable and non aggressive towards cats. The animals will be separated by floor (boarded animals stay on my first floor) and a baby gate to minimize any potential issues.

About: I’m a lifelong pet parent who has never lived without a furry companion by my side. My hands-on experience includes raising puppies, establishing reliable house routines, and navigating specific training and behavioral needs with my own dogs. I continuously invest time in reading training literature and attending webinars to ensure I use patient, positive-reinforcement techniques. You can count on me to respect your existing training cues, keep your pup physically and mentally engaged, and deliver detailed daily check-ins for complete peace of mind. I work from home with full control over my work calendar, allowing me to provide frequent potty breaks, active walks, and dedicated companionship all day. I mirror your pet's familiar routines in your home, providing structured leashed walks, timely feeding, clean spaces, and loving companionship while keeping your home secure.

Kathryn was great with our 9 month old puppy! We needed someone last minute to walk Theo and she was very responsive and professional. She came over the night before to introduce herself and meet him. She took great care of him on his walk and even went above and beyond to clean up a small mess he made. Will definitely book again!

Shannon was amazing! We booked with her unbelievably last-minute, and yet she was able to help us with recurring dog walks over a few days while we were out of town. Our dog is large and be intimidating to some but Shannon was able to navigate her initial fear/aggression and they became fast friends. We couldn't recommended her enough!

I’m currently not working, so I have all the time to take care of your pet. No schedule conflicts, so you don’t have to worry :) I have a small place, without much to do outside. About: I’ve worked with a wide variety of animals, including cats, dogs, horses, rabbits, mice, fish, land crabs, amphibians (aqua/land), guinea pigs, and more. I’m comfortable handling pets of all sizes, personalities, and temperaments—whether they’re energetic, calm, reactive, nervous, or affectionate. I’m skilled at reading animal behavior, staying calm in challenging situations, and adapting to each animal’s individual needs. My priority is always to create a safe, comfortable environment where every animal feels secure, respected, and well cared for. Sorry for the lack of photos, I usually stay present with the animals! While I do clean up while I’m over at your house, i also offer housekeeping for extra. If you need! Pet care fits easily into my schedule because I’m able to plan my day around visits, feedings, walks, medication administration, and check-ins. I’m organized, reliable, and understand the importance of consistency in an animal’s routine. Whether a pet needs early morning care, midday attention, evening visits, or overnight stays, I communicate clearly about my availability and ensure I can fully commit to the care schedule before accepting a booking. I treat every pet as a priority and make sure they receive the time, attention, and care they need. I provide attentive, low-stress care whether pets stay in my home or I care for them in theirs. In my home, pets enjoy a safe, clean, and comfortable environment with plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and relax. I maintain consistent routines for feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and any special care needs to help them feel settled and secure. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routine as closely as possible, providing companionship, exercise, supervision, and personalized attention while respecting household rules and preferences. I’m comfortable working with pets of all sizes, ages, energy levels, and temperaments, and I focus on creating a positive experience where every animal feels safe, understood, and well cared for.

About: I have been been dog sitting since I was in high school and love it. I first started by watching some of my friend's family dogs and am now looking to expand to others! I have been trusted to walk dogs, feed, and I have even given medications and shots to dog so am familiar with caring for elderly/sick dogs. I have taken some of my own family's dogs to training programs so am familiar with standard dog training practices. I’m currently unemployed so have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I am free weekdays and weekends both day and night! Since I am not working at the moment, my schedule is very open and flexible. I live in an apartment building so don’t have a yard. I take my own dog on many walks a day and take him outside when needed. My own dog is not crate trained and is used to being out and roaming the house while we are at work. But he can also be closed in our bedroom to keep your dog comfortable, if needed.

About: What dogs love about spending time with us: 1) They have a sense of comfort & trust. I am always attentive with them, since I work from home and have worked in (human) emergency rooms and psychiatric facilities so handle chaos well. 2) My lifestyle is flexible based on what they prefer (long walks or relaxing) and they usually have 2 people available 3) my apartment faces S/SE and gets sun throughout the day. Dogs seem to LOVE sunbathing. 4) I am close to downtown parks and 3 blocks from the new section of the waterfront. Giving them a variety of smells each day. 5) For you - I’m a decent photographer and enjoy getting shots that showcase your dog’s unique personality Specific experience: terriers, Maltese, shih tzu, poodles, spaniels. High energy dogs needing exercise as well as dogs with a lot of various anxieties & prefer being with someone all day. Senior dogs and puppies (outside of newborns). While there are no other animals currently in my home, I have had my own dogs for nearly twenty years and been around various small and medium/large dogs for over a decade. I enjoy taking care of dogs, walking, playing, feeding, and bathing. I even trim my parent's dogs hair. I live in a one bedroom apartment so likely a better fit for small to medium dogs. If you need a recurring service would love to build a relationship with your dog so he feels comfortable visiting someone he knows. Reach out for any questions! My partner and I work from home and do not have pets, so I would love to spend time with them! At least one of us is home most of the time. If we leave it’s for a couple hours at a time, max. And are open to bring the dog if it’s not hot. I live in an apartment and do not have any pets. I would be able to visit homes or other apartments to care for pets.I am able to spend a lot of them with them and walk them around the neighborhood or park depending on their energy level. They will receive a lot of love!

Michelle did an awesome job caring for Gambit! We had a medical scare the day we planned to drop our dog off with Michelle. Gambit had to have a quick surgery which resulted in him being drowsy, being prescribed medication and a patient after care routine. Although this wasn’t initially expected for Michelle to have to deal with when originally booked, she accepted the additional responsibility without question and was able to carry out the needed extra care without issue. This really helped reduce our stress and anxiety of our dog’s well being while we were out of town. If it was any other rover, we probably would have canceled our trip! Michelle is extremely responsive, punctual, nice and a joy to interact with. Would highly recommend!

I am so grateful I found Claire! She made time for a meet and greet with my pup so he could get to know her a bit before she came another day to walk him. I instantly felt comfortable with her and I could tell that Finn did too. He's an Aussie and pretty much thinks everyone is sketchy, but I was surprised at how calm he was around her. When she came by another day to walk him, she sent me photos and videos and kept me in the loop on how Finn was doing. She was so patient with him and spent extra time playing with him and letting him get to know her at his own pace. Finn had a great time and it made being away a lot easier.
