As a self-employed individual, I enjoy the flexibility to manage my schedule, allowing me to spend ample time at home with our beloved dogs. I cherish moments like long walks and drives with them, whether it's to the fields, beach, or fenced-off leash areas around NE Portland. With a child in elementary school, we seamlessly integrate our dogs into our daily routines. Upon introducing them to a new environment, we prioritize their comfort by allowing them a couple of hours to settle in and explore the house before embarking on their first walk with us.

A typical day
I have a car available and am happy to take the dogs for walks in their familiar surroundings to help them feel at ease. Alternatively, we can venture to nearby parks or scenic spots like Thousand Acres, Sauvie Island, or Forest Park for a change of scenery. I always make an effort to understand the dogs' preferences and find their favorite environments to ensure they have an enjoyable experience.

Hi, I’m Annika! 🐾 Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with them, volunteered in animal shelters, and started walking and sitting pups for friends and family over 10 years ago. When my own dog joined the family, I quickly learned how much love, attention, and exercise every pup needs to feel happy and balanced — and it became a passion of mine to give that to other dogs too. Over the years, I’ve completed 400+ walks (privately and on another app), and I’ve recently moved everything over to Rover. For my regular clients, this just makes things easier; for new clients, this means you can trust that I bring experience, consistency, and a lot of heart to every walk and visit. Spending time with dogs is one of my favorite parts of the day. Whether it’s a quick drop-in to say hi and play, a neighborhood stroll, or a long hike out in nature, I love seeing wagging tails and happy faces. Each pup is different, and I enjoy getting to know their personalities, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like family, keep them active, and shower them with love and attention, I’d be thrilled to be your walker or drop-in sitter. Let’s make your pup’s day a little brighter!
