“Deborah was amazing: prompt, communicative & kind. Really appreciate all that she did when she walked & took care of my small dog, Jonah. Will 100% rebook again. Thanks so much!”

“Alex was an amazing dog walker for the year Toby and I lived in St.Johns, he went above and beyond, was able to walk Toby last minute if I needed and always made sure Toby had an amazing time on the days I worked long hours. Toby will miss Alexander and Ruby! Highly recommend!”

“Jenna is truly amazing! She’s so sweet, patient, communicative, and kind. One of my dogs has really bad anxiety and has never felt comfortable going on walks with anyone until Jenna. She’s the only person he trusts enough to walk with, and that says everything about how gentle and understanding she is. We feel so lucky to have found her. I would recommend Jenna to anyone a million times over she’s truly one of a kind!!”

“Kathryn was great with our 9 month old puppy! We needed someone last minute to walk Theo and she was very responsive and professional. She came over the night before to introduce herself and meet him. She took great care of him on his walk and even went above and beyond to clean up a small mess he made. Will definitely book again!”

“YAY! So grateful I found Elaine. I twisted my ankle and she was there helping me every day for 7 days so that I could rest. Her energy, kindness, flexibility, communication, and love of animals is so evident. I would let Elaine take care of all of my animals at any moment. I will absolutely have her walk Ginger again. And also boarding!”

About: I have taken care of cats since I was young and for the past two years, I’ve taken care of my own puppy. I love all animals, providing for their needs, and giving them the love and attention they deserve. When I take care of them, I provide lots of photos and details of what went on during the visit to keep you updated. Your pets are safe with me! My schedule is currently very open, so I have plenty of room in my schedule to care for your fur baby and provide for their needs. If needed, I can crate your dog or keep them in a pen, whichever situation you have. I’m meticulous about making sure that there is nothing around that could harm your pet and I keep a vigilant eye.

“Sydney is terrific: always on time, communicative, and otherwise professional. She handled our pup with care, and he always looked forward to his walks with her. He invariably came back with tail wagging. Couldn't recommend her enough.”

About: I have had dogs or taken care of dogs my whole life. I would walk my neighbors dogs. I would gladly take care of them if needed. I am currently available any day or time. I am retired and want to fill my days taking care of dogs and any other animal. I prefer to stay at your home to care for your pets since they are comfortable there. I have transportation and am happy to meet with your animals before I am hired.

About: I've taken care of animals since I was a child. My family owned cats, dogs, chickens, goats and a lama and I actively participated in caring for all of these animals. I am currently working part time and have some extra availability during the regular business week. I prefer to work in the mornings but am available and willing to meet any schedule requirements. As a pet care professional, being trustworthy and ensuring safety are top priorities when entering a client’s home. Clients are placing their confidence in me not only to care for their beloved animals, but also to respect their personal space and privacy. I approach each visit with professionalism, honesty, and a strong sense of responsibility. I follow all instructions carefully, maintain clear communication, and treat every home with the utmost respect—locking doors, tidying up after myself, and safeguarding keys and alarm codes. My goal is to build lasting trust through reliability, integrity, and compassionate care for both pets and their environment.

About: I grew up around dogs, cats, and horses, so from a young age, I was taught the importance of giving animals the specific care they need to thrive. I’ve been pet sitting since I was a teenager and never pass up the opportunity to make a new furry friend. I’m an educator and cat parent looking for a gig over the summer, so I will have plenty of free time for snuggles, treats, and chin scratches! I’m also a runner who would love to give your energetic pup the exercise they crave. Please reach out if I sound like a good fit, and I’d love to meet your pet and offer you peace of mind. I’m a teacher with a pretty flexible schedule during the summer, so I will be free every day with the exception of a few weekend trips. I am also a high school distance running coach, so I will occasionally have summer runs with the kids to work around. I live in a small ADU with two cats of my own, so I can only offer pet care in your home. I also find this is the best way to limit stress for your pet and offer you the additional peace of mind of a house sitter if desired. I’m available for drop-in’s for pets who need their space or for overnight visits for those who need more company.

“Lesley is a dog lover in every sense of the word. She has had dogs (usually two at once) for most of the time I have known her (over 30 years) and has cared for those dogs like family. She has also watched my dogs for extended periods, staying at my house and following their schedules to a tee on many occasions. I would highly recommend Lesley as a responsible and loving Rover pet caretaker.”
