About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for a variety of animals, from dogs and cats to large lizards, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I believe in providing the highest quality of care and an enthusiastic about engaging with your animals. A lot of people tend to thing that animals, especially cats, only require the bare minimum, but the reality is that for the best quality of life they need consistent and engaged care. To me this means deep cleaning litter boxes, ensuring they’re cleaned at least once a day, cleaning bowls regularly, engaging in active play and exercise/mental stimulation, and being patient when shy animals need time to warm up. Leaving your animals is hard—on both of you—having someone you can trust and rely on makes all the difference. I am so excited to meet your pets and give them love. I currently work from home full time but can flex hours where needed or work from any home that has wifi and a place for me to set up. I am passionate about making sure that spaces I am in are safe, comfortable, and clean for your pets. This means that I am also available to provide light cleaning while I am there. I am especially skilled with shy or easily scared animals and have a lot of experience working with them to get used to people. I currently only take pets in my home that are comfortable and non aggressive towards cats. The animals will be separated by floor (boarded animals stay on my first floor) and a baby gate to minimize any potential issues.

I booked a meet-and-greet with Amanda and Dot loved her immediately. About: I’ve had my own personal pets all my life and believe pets are family and treat them as such. I have also taken care of friends, and family pets as well. Currently, I do not have any pets of my own as I lost my 2 Boston terriers last year. Now I’m dedicating my time to help others care for their pet family members. I love animals and anyone who knows me, knows this about me. I work from home full-time and I can work from anywhere that has internet. I just bring my laptop and I’m able to care for your fur kids all day :) I am especially good at cuddles all day, walks, and feeding/playing with your fur kids. About: I’ve had pets all my life—countless cats, three dogs, two parakeets, fish, and two ferrets. I worked for PetSmart for a year, caring for their animals, and have experience with sick pets. I volunteered at my local Humane Society for a while as a dog walker, and I owner-trained my current dog, a retired/at-home service dog. I’m currently free the majority of the day and at night. As long as I have enough time to take care of my own pup at home, I can arrange my schedule around taking care of your pets, too! When I take care of them, I provide lots of photos and details of what went on during the visit to keep you updated. Your pets are safe with me! About: I grew up having and taking care of cats but also love dogs! I am very reliable and attentive. Happy to just drop in for walks or take care of animals for a more extended time. About: Since I was 17 years old I have loved taking care of pets. I have a majority of experience in dog sitting but I have cat sat for family friends over the last couple of years. Whether it has been family, friends, or even roommates, I have dog-sat for long and short periods for a wide variety of dogs and dog personalities. I have done my time doing the typical neighbor dog walk in my hometown, but as I have gotten older and lived in other parts of Oregon I've had more diverse experiences. One terrier who I have the most pet-sitting experience disliked touching and getting pets, but I still gave him plenty of walks, play, and quality time. I love pet sitting because they provide a huge impact to everyone who wants to leave their pet in good hands. I am new to the Vancouver/Metro area, looking for work all around. I might be working for a non-profit 4 days/week, but I am available. Overall I have high weekend availability and would love to watch your dog! About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life. I currently have 2 dogs who are both 11 years old. One is a rescue (charlotte) who we’ve had for her entire life and one is a foster fail (Fiona) who we’ve had for two years now. I fostered another dog for about 6 months who was disabled, she was a very happy dog and even without use of her back legs would make her way around! Most of my dogs have been small dogs so I have more experience with small dogs. I’ve taken care of one big dog, who was a black lab/basset hound mix so I have a little bit of experience working with bigger dogs. I work in a park and as a delivery driver so I am well versed in dog body language. I believe that giving an animal their space and allowing them to set their own boundaries with a new person is a great way for them to feel confident with me from the start. I am free pretty much every weekday! Weekends are a little more complicated as I do work another job on the weekends that will need my attention. But I do mostly gig work so, I am flexible and willing to have a conversation and work out a schedule that works for both of us! I recognize that all pets have a routine and like humans if their routine gets thrown off it doesn’t feel great. I will care for your pets by trying to follow the routine you have set for them as closely as possible. This can help your pet not feel like their entire day is thrown off by something changing, like meeting a new person or someone else walking them.
