About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. As a stay at home mom, I have plenty of time to watch your loved ones while you’re away. We have an active but relaxed home. We currently have one extremely friendly, well socialized shepherd mix dog who gets along with every dog he meets. Over the years I’ve cared for friends’ and family’s dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. My kids love dogs and are able to let new dog friends acclimate without pestering. We walk the neighborhood every night and play in the backyard. I am a stay at home mom with elementary aged kids. Especially during the school year, I am almost always at home. My husband also works full time from home so there is always someone here to keep an eye on things. We have a great schedule in place for our dog in terms of potty breaks and feeding. We have a fully fenced back yard and a lovely neighborhood full of sidewalks to go on long evening walks. In our home, dogs are part of the family. They are allowed on the couch and sleep in our bedroom. Our dog has a nice schedule for feeding and going potty and he loves sunbathing on the back patio.

About: Hi, I’m Rachel! As an avid hiker and lifelong K9 lover, I believe a tired dog is a happy dog. Whether your furry friend is a "zoomie" expert or a gentle soul who prefers a slow sniff around the park, I provide more than just a walk; I provide a dedicated playmate. My background includes extensive experience with senior care and administering oral medications, so you can rest easy knowing your pet is in capable hands. From my early days walking dogs at Spokane animal shelters to our future adventures at local parks, I’m committed to your dog’s happiness and your peace of mind. 🏳️‍🌈 LGBTQIA+ friendly. I currently work from home part time and make my own schedule. I’ll be available most days for house sitting and dog walks. My world is your doggie’s oyster:) 🏠 House Sitting Policies & Rates I offer two tiers of House Sitting to ensure your pet gets exactly the level of care they need: 1. Standard House Sitting ($65/night) What’s included: I will stay overnight in your home and provide plenty of love, feeding, and potty breaks. Independence: This rate assumes your pet can be left safely alone for 4–6 hours at a time while I attend to other clients or errands. Typical arrival on the first night would be 7pm and leave on the final day at 7am. This can be negotiated :) 2. Constant Care ($188/night/$25 each additional pet) What’s included: This is for pets with high separation anxiety or medical needs. I will remain on-site for the duration of the booking (leaving for no more than 30–60 minutes for essentials). Why the premium? Because I cannot take other dog walks or drop-in visits during this time, this rate covers my lost availability and ensures your pet has my 100% undivided attention. I have a fenced yard and a gentle giant malamute/siberian mix. He roams freely in the house when it suits him;) However, most of the time he prefers to be leashed on the front porch to admire people and squirrels. He is a cherished member of the family. House Sitting (Overnight Care) My goal is to provide a "business as usual" experience for your fur kid. • The Routine: I ask for a detailed schedule. Does the dog get a "goodnight" treat? Does the pup prefer the blinds open or closed? Nightly belly rubs and scritches?:) • Home Stewardship: I leave your home exactly as I found it—dishes done, trash out, and linens handled. • Updates: I will gladly send 2-3 photo/video updates daily so you never have to wonder how your pup is doing. • Safety: I will securing the home (checking locks, setting alarms) every time I step out for a quick errand. 2. Dog Walking Goal is safety and fun:) • The Gear Check: I will always double-check the fit of harnesses and collars before stepping out the door. • Environment Awareness: I will avoid "nose-to-nose" greetings with unknown dogs to prevent reactivity. • Post-Walk Care: I will include a "paws and belly" wipe-down on rainy days and a fresh water refill immediately upon return. • Socialization: For shy dogs, I move at their pace. If they want to hide, I’ll sit quietly nearby; if they want to play, I’m ready with arms wide open.

About: Having a dog myself, I know how hard it is when you need to leave, so I treat that responsibility seriously! What sets me apart is the level of attention and presence I give to every dog. I don’t juggle a packed schedule or treat pet care as something to squeeze in. I’m genuinely attentive throughout the day and focused on each dog’s comfort, routine, and emotional well-being. I’m patient, observant, and quick to notice changes in behavior or needs. I’m comfortable following detailed instructions, caring for young puppies, and supporting them as they adjust to routines. My goal isn’t just to meet expectations, but to make both you and your dog feel completely at ease. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine and I structure my day around making sure dogs get consistent attention, bathroom breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. I’m home enough to be present and attentive, and I enjoy building my schedule around a dog’s needs and routine. Whether your dog is more energetic or more laid-back, I will make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and never ignored. I live in a dog friendly apartment building with plenty of nearby parks and walking trails, which means lots of opportunities for walks, sniffing, and mental stimulation throughout the day. While I don’t have a private fenced yard, there is a large fenced dog park close by for safe, enclosed play and lots of fetch. I’m very mindful of each dog’s comfort level and tailor outdoor time to what helps them feel happiest. My goal is for you to leave knowing your dog is in caring, capable hands and to come back to a happy, relaxed pup.

About: I have years of experience providing love and attentive care for dogs, cats, & birds! I handle walks, playtime, exercise, treats, and enrichment activities, while also administering medications and accommodating each pet’s unique needs and personality. Whether it’s daycare, overnight stays, drop-ins, or regular visits, my goal is to ensure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine and I can accommodate flexible schedules, including drop-ins, daycare, and overnight stays, ensuring each pet gets consistent attention, care, and love. In my home: pets have access to a safe, fenced-in yard for play and exercise, as well as a designated indoor play area. I live with a friendly 1-year-and-7-month-old English Springer Spaniel who loves socializing, and two cat companions who are dog-friendly and mostly independent. I ensure all pets feel comfortable, respected, and included at their own pace, providing plenty of playtime, attention, treats, and care tailored to their needs. When caring for pets in their own home: I follow the routine and rules set by the owner to provide consistency and comfort. About: Hi, I’m Sheila, a lifelong animal lover with a calm, nurturing presence and years of hands-on experience across species, ages, temperaments, and needs. I grew up on a small poultry farm surrounded by dogs, cats, and feathered friends, and I’ve continued that care into adulthood. I’ve raised and loved a variety of animals, including dogs, and cats of my own and through pet sitting for friends and with TrustedHousesitters, I’ve also supported families with senior pets, rescue animals, and those with medical or behavioral needs. I’m comfortable administering medications (oral, topical, and injected), adapting to animals with anxiety or mobility challenges, and tuning into what each pet uniquely needs, whether that's active play, a gentle routine, or quiet companionship. I attend grad school mostly online through UW, so your pet will get plenty of attention and presence. I look forward to connecting with you all. Spending time with animals is grounding, joyful, and meaningful for my life. If you’d like to connect or hear more about my past experience, I’d love to chat. I’m happy to share references and photos (or just swap pet stories!). Your animals are family. And I’ll treat them as such. Pet care naturally fits into my daily rhythm. I attend grad school mostly online through UW and have a flexible schedule, so I can easily adjust my day around walks, playtime, and cuddle breaks. Spending time with pets is grounding and joyful for me, not an add-on or chore. It gives me purpose and balance, so I welcome the routine of feeding, walks, medication (if needed), and companionship as part of my everyday flow. I meet each pet exactly where they are. In your home, I follow the routine you’ve already established, so your pet feels safe and comfortable in their own environment. That means keeping consistent meal times, walking routes, play activities, or quiet company, whatever your pet is used to. I’m comfortable with administering medications, supporting anxious or shy animals with patience, and giving extra attention to senior pets. My goal is always to maintain stability, reduce stress, and provide genuine companionship so you come home to a happy, cared-for pet.

About: Hi! We're Gina and James and we're so excited to welcome your dog into our home! We have been dog sitting in our home for over 5 years but took a break from Rover as we were taking care of our senior corgi. After our dog crossed the rainbow bridge we decided to open our home back up to dogs again. We have 1 dog, Toby, and we're blessed to be able to both work from home full time. Our house has a large fully fenced backyard and dogs have furniture privilege. We consider ourselves pet parents and love to spoil our dogs with lots of walks and playtime. We care deeply about your dogs safety and will ensure they are looked after as if they are our own. We have a gate separating the kitchen from the rest of the home so we can ensure there is no counter surfing and provide separation during mealtimes. We look forward to meeting you and your dog! James works from home full time and I am waiting to start nursing school in January 2027 so I have free time to spend with dogs! James is up early so can give out breakfast and do potty breaks for dogs first thing in the morning. We usually take a 2 mile sniffy walk around 10am and an afternoon walk can be added if needed We have a fully fenced backyard with lots of room for dogs to play. In our home we have a gate separating the kitchen from the rest of the house.

When we first met Frances, we weren’t sure how our reactive Chihuahua, Benny, would do — but her calm, patient approach won him over almost instantly. She took the time to understand his triggers, worked with him gently, and now he greets her with a happy tail wag. Frances also accompanies our senior family member on walks with our other dog, Bucket, making sure both dogs (and human!) are safe, comfortable, and enjoying their time outside. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine love for animals have made her an absolute treasure to our family. ---

Our family went on a 19 day overseas trip and our 2-year-old Boxer (Falco) stayed with my elderly parents. Stephanie and her teen daughter took our pup on lengthy walks and runs so he could exercise the Boxer energy that my parents can’t physically manage. Falco was excited every time they arrived for his walks. and it was clear he had a great time. Stephanie communicated closely with my mother and me to flexibly coordinate times. Thanks to Stephanie for ensuring our dog was well cared for so we could relax and enjoy our vacation.
