“Amy is the kind of sitter you hope to find: she's communicative, caring, flexible, and reliable. She stayed at our house, caring for our three pets for several days. We got great updates, and returned to a spotless house. We highly recommend Amy!”

“Two words. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. "I had such a wonderful experience with Steele! One of the highlights was receiving daily photo updates—it was the best part of my day and really put my mind at ease. It was so clear from the pictures that my dogs were happy, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention. I returned home to very relaxed Finnegan and Lucy. I’ll definitely be reaching out to Steele again!"”

“My dog seems to be very reserves and skittish around strangers so was very apprehensive about booking someone from Rover to stay with her. I made the perfect choice with Anthea. My little girl was comfortable with her right away. Anthea sent multiple pictures and put my mind at ease immediately couldn’t ask for a better person to take care of your animal. I will certainly use her again.”

“Peyton took such great care of our pups! We got a ton of pictures/updated and he kept our house nice and clean while he was there. Would definitely have him stay again!”

“Janexis and Zach were wonderful with helping take care of my reactive and anxious pit mix, Minnie. They sent just the right amount of updates, and she looked so happy and at home with each picture! They kept me at ease the entire time. They were also flexible when I needed to extend their care, and left my place cleaner than I left for them! I will definitely use them to care for my pup in the future.”

“Leaving Dash for so long I couldn’t imagine who could love in him. Makayla loved my boop while I took a break from life in a far off land. Thank you for leaving the place so clean too! Well done.”

“Vicky, was amazing! This was the first time we left our pets alone with anyone outside of family and she made the decision stress free. She met with us the day prior to discuss what was expected and I immediately felt comfortable with her. She asked questions and was genuinely interested in making sure are pets and home were taking care of. Her updates while we were away made our trip worry free as we knew our fur babies were in good hands. Even our cat who normally hides from strangers was comfortable with her! We will definitely use her services again in the future.”

“Thank you so much for the care for our senior cats, our chickens, rabbits, and home. Our home was so well cared for and clean, and thanks again for the delicious treat you left us! I would definitely recommend Felicia to anyone looking for a pet/house sitter.”
“Kelly did great watching my boys for me! Very communicative, and sent me plenty of pictures while I was away. I would definitely recommend her to watch your fur babies for you, and I will 100% be reaching out to her if I need help again in the future!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 16 years old. I adopted my most recent rescue about five years ago. I take her on multiple long walks every day! I also have experience with senior dogs and disabled dogs. I currently work part time and make my own schedule, so I can work around your needs. I am available for multiple check-ins a day, and will walk whatever route needed. I have a fully fenced backyard and live right next to a park with walking trails. I have a dog who loves playing with other dogs, but can be separated if needed.
“Couldn’t be more pleased with Peter! He arrived early, kept me updated with pictures throughout his stay and took great care of Sunny! Will definitely book again and highly recommend.”

“Mark did an incredible job taking care of our elderly cat Gus for a 4 day house sit job. He was very attentive to Gus’s needs and helped him overcome superstition anxiety while we were away. I could not recommend Mark anymore!”

About: Ever since the age of 5, my family has always had pets around us. From rabbits to cats, to dogs, and even Beta or Goldfish. After I moved to the Pacific Northwest at 21, I adopted a stray cat. Unfortunately a year into taking care of him, he passed away due to uncurable health issues. After I mourned and missed him, I went on to adopt and raise a 2 month old female gray kitten, who is now 11 years old. I also have a Blue Heeler/Cocker spaniel mix who I adopted from the pound 6 years ago. He was middle aged when I adopted him so I really got to learn how to manage an older dog by taking care of specific needs and having regular vet check ups. Two years ago, I adopted two teenage gray sister cats, who are now almost 3. My fur babies are a tight nit family who gets along with one another, and I am proud to watch them grow and flourish in the lifestyle I have made for them. As for experience, aside from taking care of the family pets growing up and being a long time pet owner, I worked at Red Rover dog sitting company back in 2017 for about a year, going to peoples' homes for either a 20 minute dog walk, hour long dog park adventure, or overnights for dogs if owner was going to be out of town and needing something more long term. Due to how busy I was at the time, working a full time set scheduled job, I was unable to make spare time. In the last few months, I have no other obligations with needing to work full time, and am ready to take care of other peoples' animals. I have always taken joy in helping others out with their pets because I know how hard it can be when people have to go to work, be gone all day, go camping a few days, or traveling several days. I know about that lifestyle all too well and always love when people I trust watch my pets. If you want a reliable pet sitter who your pets will become familiar with fast, I may be a good fit for you. I currently do this full time so I have a lot of flexibility. Just reach out to me and I will allot a time block for your pet :) Services Offered I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and overnight pet care. My goal is to provide dependable, attentive care while keeping your pet’s routine as normal and comfortable as possible. Drop-In Visits Drop-in visits include potty breaks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, companionship, and plenty of attention. I can accommodate up to three drop-in visits per day, depending on availability. Overnight Pet Sitting For overnight stays, I remain at your home overnight and spend the majority of my time with your pet. Because I have a dog of my own, I may need to briefly return home throughout the day to care for him. These trips are typically limited and scheduled around your pet’s needs, and your pet’s comfort and well-being will always remain my top priority. If your dog is friendly with other dogs and my dog is welcome to accompany me during overnight stays, I offer a 20% discount on house-sitting services.
“Lyla did a great job: she was willing to come meet the pups beforehand, showed up on time to house/dog sit, sent photos and updates, and left the house and dogs clean and happy. We hope to use Lyla for future dog care needs and highly recommend her to others.”

“I just moved back to Portland and was looking for a house sitter for my sweet little old lady, Pearl, and had a few upcoming trips planned. Danny was very communicative, always prompt and was more than willing to help with an unexpected medical need. Pearl was well taken care of and I'll happily work with Danny again.”

About: I’ve been pet/housesitting for the majority of my life! Growing up I was relied on heavily by many. I was consistently approached by family, friends, and neighbors. There were quite a few people that had me as their go-to whenever they needed the help and I made a strong connection with. I always get excited when people ask me to petsit for them! On top of that, I’ve done a lot of volunteer work at animal shelters, including dog walking, cleaning, and playing. I’m currently a SPED Educational Assistant, 8am-3:30pm every weekday at a school in Portland. Anytime around that I am free and willing, but I understand if that is too large a gap in the days as far as house sitting goes. Otherwise, my weekends are entirely free, as well as my summer break! I will accommodate to whatever needs must be met for your pet! I want to make sure your fur baby is completely safe, comfortable and happy with me. Every animal is different and I love to make space for them and learn about what they like, dislike, need, as well as their quirks and personalities. Connection and trust is very important to me.
“Rachel was awesome! Gus was cared for and we received many updates to assure us that he was in good hands. Gus was happy and loved for an entire week!”

Northwest pet parents share their Rover experiences
Peyton is the BEST. I feel so lucky to have found him for my dogs. It gives me such peace of mind to know that my dogs are with someone they genuinely enjoy. Peyton gives them love, attention, cuddles and plenty of play time! He also provides pictures and updates for me! It’s so nice to come home to a clean house and happy dogs! Thank you Peyton!!!
When Kelly first came to meet our girls she was understanding and patient with our dogs. My oldest Zola tends to be overprotective of me when others are around, she shows it by barking constantly. Kelly was gentle and knew how to engage. During her day with our girls she sent us pictures and videos of my girls! She also communicated with us while we were away on how they were behaving and what they were up to! Thank you Kelly for caring for our girls!

Ashley did a wonderful job taking care of our two doggies while we were away. She was very companionate to our dogs especially when they unexpectedly got sick. She picked up needed medicine from our vet and administered it, she prepared special food so doggies could get better faster, etc. She was very communicative and left the house in a very clean state. We will definitely work with Ashley again. Would highly recommend!

We used to live in Oregon and Roree was Aspens favorite person, so on our little trip back to the area we knew just who to call to watch Aspen for the weekend! Roree always sends pictures and updates and you can just see the excitement in Aspens eyes in every pic. She is a 100/10 dog sitter and has so much care and attention for your furry friend☺️ thanks for everything Roree!

Martha was fantastic! She house sat for our dog Georgie and our 3 kitties. Our 13 year old kitty needs a number of medications and special diet instructions and Georgie also needs medications, and Martha handled everything with ease. She took Georgie on daily walks and played with her in our yard when it wasn't raining. She sent daily updates and pictures, and was very communicative. There were a few small things for the house we asked her to do (like roll our garbage bins) which we were very grateful she did. She left our house just the way we left it, and you would have never known someone was staying with us. Our pets were so at ease when we got home because she spent so much time with them during our trip. We highly recommend Martha!

Millie was wonderful! Extremely communicative, punctual, and took care of Georgia so well. She was very respectful of our space. I would be more than happy to work with her again and to be a positive reference to anyone looking for someone to help care for their pets!

Madelyn was seriously amazing with my dog, Tuna 🥹 This was my first time ever leaving him with someone, and I was honestly really nervous, but she made me feel so comfortable the entire time. She sent me tons of pictures and updates, and he looked like he was having the best day ever. I didn’t feel worried at all while he was with her. I was even late picking him up, and she was super understanding and kind about it. Tuna came home completely tired out from all the fun 😂 I would absolutely trust her with him again and definitely recommend her!!
