“Anthea was our first experience using Rover and we lucked out! She was attentive, respectful, reliable and kind. She kept us updated with photos and texts or emails several times a day, enough that we felt safe but never bothersome. Our house was spotless when we got home, you would have never known she was there except our sweet boy was so well taken care of. I got to see their goodbye and he rested his head on her shoulder for a nice calm embrace, showing how safe he felt with her (he can be timid when we aren’t around). It was a wonderful experience and I would recommend Anthea to anyone!”

“Maggie stayed over at our place to take of our pups and made us feel at ease while we were away, which is HUGE for us. We always worry that our pups won’t get the same level of care and love that we give them, but Maggie definitely did that for them. Our pups are anxious, but she took her time with them and made them feel comfortable and relaxed. We loved seeing photos and videos of them every day and how happy they were with someone other than us! Not only did she care for our pups, but she was also respectful to us and our house. Her communication with us was above and beyond! We would love to have her again, and our pups definitely would too!”

“I was so anxious about having someone in my home and caring for my pets. When I signed onto Rover and contacted Nico- he put me right at ease and answered all my question. Typically my neighbors jump in and help when I go out of town but when a tiny kitten that someone tossed out of a car window came into our lives just days before our vacation- I suddenly felt like my small animal kingdom needed a little more hands-on help. That was Nico and he was amazing! He sent pictures when I wanted them, was prompt in his replies and we got along great! He didn’t seem to mind my anxiety at all. My neighbors who stopped in to check and make sure things were going well said he was so kind and most importantly- all my pets seemed to love him. I will absolutely use him again and absolutely recommend him! In a way though I wish I could keep him as my little secret so he doesn’t get completely booked up! Thank you Nico. You made my trip happen.”

“Jaz was incredible! Gave me updates on everything I requested and was 100% responsive to my communications. They understood my stress about my dog who was recently diagnosed with Addison's and were very patient. I was worried I would have to apologize for my dog's constant attempts to get ground food on walks, but Jaz had a lot of experience and was patient with her as well. I hadn't left my baby alone for more than a day since COVID started, and Jaz went above and beyond to put me at ease.”

“Jade is fantastic!! Our dog Duke is a giant black fluffball and Jade might just like her more than us. She always makes sure to be conscious of any pet instructions left and will make sure to ask for clarification if needed. Which, personally I would rather her ask questions, rather than something possibly getting missed or done incorrectly! She has a real passion and motivation for animals and will always make sure to give our “attention deprived” Duke dog lots and lots of pets and love! Our black cat, Kepler, has a chronic condition that requires him to take a medication. Missing this medication can lead to complications. Jade is very aware of his condition and always remembers to pill him, and he never has an issue. While we are out of town, the icing on the cake is how she send us pictures and videos of our babies. Jade is fantastic! As I said! And I would recommend her pet services to anyone!”

“Had Leah (Lou) stay at my house to take care of my ten year old dog Regi while we went on vacation for five days, and it couldn’t have gone better. Although this is the first time using Leah, I could tell right off that she is a good person and very responsible. She took tremendous care of Regi, took her on walks and played w her during the day, kept me updated every day and sent pics as well! Leah took great care of our house as too! I will be using Leah again for sure, and I’m so glad there’s good pet caretakers out there like her:). Toby”

“This is the second time Heather has taken care of my dwarf lop bunny Eugene. She was here for a little over a week and did an excellent job. She followed the directions for his feeding and exercise and even got extra lettuce when we ran out ahead of schedule! Eugene is well cared for when I am gone and I feel very comfortable with Heather staying at my house and confident in her pet care. Eugene has been completely happy having Heather stay with home while I am away.”

“Christianna & Nathaniel were great with Pumpkin as soon as they met her. They are both sweet and have very calm energy. They sent lots of photos and updates, and I really felt like they were taking wonderful care of Pumpkin while we were away. Plus the house was spotless when we came back! I’d love to have them watch her again.”

“Alex was super flexible and understanding. He really took good care of my elderly kitty under the constraints of my old house under construction...and watered my 3 gardens during the hottest part of summer...everything was alive & well on my return...including miss picky eater kitty.”

“We are incredibly happy with Cassidy’s care of our pets for two weeks! She house sat for our energetic Lab and senior, blind Chihuahua. Both need lots of attention and get anxious with changes in routine. Cassidy handled them wonderfully with walks/play/cuddles for our Lab and proper care/lap time for our blind “old man”. She clearly cared for them as we do, with no signs of anxiety or stress (chewing, nervous licking, not eating). Cassidy was diligent and professional; on time for visits, communicated each day, and sent pictures regularly that showed the dogs enjoying themselves as they normally do. We returned to content, healthy pups and our home in the same condition as we left it. We will definitely be booking Cassidy again to watch our pets!!”

“Acoya does so great with our pups, one of whom is extremely high maintenance (diabetic, blind, multiple medications per day). They don’t see her often but love it when they do, and she keeps us in the loop so we don’t have to worry at all. She’s great!”

“Stephanie was absolutely amazing! We have a total of fourteen pets. She came over well before our trip to get familiar with all of our animals and the schedules for each. That made me feel so comfortable to go on vacation. She went above and beyond, too. She followed my checklist and wrote thoughtful, relevant notes on it every day. She took so many pictures of all the animals throughout our trip and our family really appreciated it. We will definitely be asking Stephanie to come back and watch over our home and animal pack when we plan our next vacation, and I recommend you do too!”
