“Elaine went above and beyond and took such great care of our dog! She was easy to communicate with and even helped out with flexibility when the dates of our trip changed. Can’t thank her enough!”

“Jennifer was very attentive to all the instructions that were left and went above and beyond in monitoring my cat's litter and more. Great communication, friendly, and awesome with animals!”

About: Hi, I’m Rachel! As an avid hiker and lifelong K9 lover, I believe a tired dog is a happy dog. Whether your furry friend is a "zoomie" expert or a gentle soul who prefers a slow sniff around the park, I provide more than just a walk; I provide a dedicated playmate. My background includes extensive experience with senior care and administering oral medications, so you can rest easy knowing your pet is in capable hands. From my early days walking dogs at Spokane animal shelters to our future adventures at local parks, I’m committed to your dog’s happiness and your peace of mind. 🏳️🌈 LGBTQIA+ friendly. I currently work from home part time and make my own schedule. I’ll be available most days for house sitting and dog walks. My world is your doggie’s oyster:) 🏠 House Sitting Policies & Rates I offer two tiers of House Sitting to ensure your pet gets exactly the level of care they need: 1. Standard House Sitting ($65/night) What’s included: I will stay overnight in your home and provide plenty of love, feeding, and potty breaks. Independence: This rate assumes your pet can be left safely alone for 4–6 hours at a time while I attend to other clients or errands. Typical arrival on the first night would be 7pm and leave on the final day at 7am. This can be negotiated :) 2. Constant Care ($188/night/$25 each additional pet) What’s included: This is for pets with high separation anxiety or medical needs. I will remain on-site for the duration of the booking (leaving for no more than 30–60 minutes for essentials). Why the premium? Because I cannot take other dog walks or drop-in visits during this time, this rate covers my lost availability and ensures your pet has my 100% undivided attention. I have a fenced yard and a gentle giant malamute/siberian mix. He roams freely in the house when it suits him;) However, most of the time he prefers to be leashed on the front porch to admire people and squirrels. He is a cherished member of the family. House Sitting (Overnight Care) My goal is to provide a "business as usual" experience for your fur kid. • The Routine: I ask for a detailed schedule. Does the dog get a "goodnight" treat? Does the pup prefer the blinds open or closed? Nightly belly rubs and scritches?:) • Home Stewardship: I leave your home exactly as I found it—dishes done, trash out, and linens handled. • Updates: I will gladly send 2-3 photo/video updates daily so you never have to wonder how your pup is doing. • Safety: I will securing the home (checking locks, setting alarms) every time I step out for a quick errand. 2. Dog Walking Goal is safety and fun:) • The Gear Check: I will always double-check the fit of harnesses and collars before stepping out the door. • Environment Awareness: I will avoid "nose-to-nose" greetings with unknown dogs to prevent reactivity. • Post-Walk Care: I will include a "paws and belly" wipe-down on rainy days and a fresh water refill immediately upon return. • Socialization: For shy dogs, I move at their pace. If they want to hide, I’ll sit quietly nearby; if they want to play, I’m ready with arms wide open.
“Felicia went *above* above and beyond with my skittish cat! She sent such nice updates and lots of photos, brought extra treats for my lil man, and experimented with different ways to engage him. He was having big trouble before my trip, as he’d recently lost his brother – so I was extremely worried about leaving him. Felicia took that to heart and loved on him as if he were her own. She must have a sixth cat sense, because my cat is very shy and skittish; despite that, he quickly became comfortable with her, and even endured a building-wide alarm test without any residual trauma upon my return. That speaks volumes about how Felicia put him at ease! I can’t recommend her as a cat sitter enough.”

“Thank you so so very much for taking such excellent care of my pets and home while we were away. I appreciate all the communication and videos and pictures! You are so sweet and an amazing person to have cared for our for children. Thank you!”

“Julia did a wonderful job taking care of my pugs, one of which requires medications and diaper changes) and made sure to update me right after every visit. Will definitely book with Julia again in the future!”

“Sheila was great with our cat! She spent extra time and sent lots of great photos and videos. Great communication throughout. Would happily recommend and rebook.”

“We are new to the area and needed a sitter to do some drop by visits for a long weekend away. Jenna was flexible and helpful, always keeping us informed and taking time to ensure our dogs were cared for and loved. She connected well with both our dogs, including our Terrier, who can be slow to appreciate people who are new to them. She will be our first call when we need to give our boys love and care when we are away.”

“Sam takes excellent care of my dog. He is fearful of strangers and Sam was not intimidated. They navigated his initial prickliness and the two of them are now good friends. It gives me so much peace of mind to know he is in good hands while I’m away!”

“Jocelyn was amazing with our boy! Seriously went above and beyond for us! Great communication, such sweet pictures of them playing together, and she even spoiled him with his daily treats, some physical activity, and affection. I would love for her to come back any time.”

“Absolutely loved having Victoria watch over my babies. This was our first time having someone come do a drop by and I was worried how it would go but my boys quickly warmed up to her. I love how she kept in constant contact and gave me daily updates and pictures. Thank you so much!!!!”

“Amy is the best! She is reliable, communicative, and cares deeply about our pets. She was flexible with a last minute drop-in request, and asked a ton of great questions about the kind of care the pets need.”

About: I have lived my whole life with animals. My parents always had cats and I would often help on my Uncle’s farm with all of their animals. I have done many dog/cat sitting gigs as well! I think everyone in my life knows how much I love animals. I cannot resist connecting with a dog when I see one out and about. I am very personable, responsible, and I just want to care for and give animals a great life if I get the opportunity! I am available all day Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. I work in the evening, so if you need me in the morning on my work day, I can be there! Safety is one of the most important things to me when it comes to pets. I am always aware of my surroundings and if we are outside, they are on a leash or in a cat’s case, they are in an enclosed space. I don’t let them out of my sight!
“Sami did an amazing job caring for my dog, who is slow to trust new people. I loved receiving photos and detailed updates about the visit while I was away. I recommend Sami to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter/walker. I’m thankful to have found someone so well suited for my dogs needs.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my love, patience and energy. I trained my puppy to go outside, socialize with others and tricks. I’m trustworthy and reliable. I go to school and work at skyzone some days but my nights are free. After school I am also free, depending on the day. I have my own car with great gas mileage so distance doesn’t matter. I wake up and my first thought is to make sure my pets have food, water and a bathroom break. Regular baths are given to my dog. I make sure to set aside times for me to play with my dog and cat everyday.
“Kristin took excellent care of our senior dog. I could tell from all the pictures that our dog was happy and full of treats while we were away. I would definitely recommend Kristin to anyone.”
Northwest pet parents share their Rover experiences
Claire was phenomenal watching my kitties for two weeks! She sent me many photos and videos, got the mail, cleaned cat litter, notified me they were low on food and was extremely responsive. If I wasn’t moving I’d hire her every time! She also gave my cat medicated ear drops and kept me updated on them. Thanks so much Claire!

Rebecca was great! She’s so kind and sweet and our cat immediately took to her. Asked questions to make sure she had everything covered and that we were comfortable with her. She was great about updating us with photos and what she was doing. It took off so much stress from us. We will definitely be using her again!

Sami did an amazing job caring for my dog, who is slow to trust new people. I loved receiving photos and detailed updates about the visit while I was away. I recommend Sami to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter/walker. I’m thankful to have found someone so well suited for my dogs needs.

This was the first time leaving our new baby puppy, and it could not have gone better! Danny and Maria really put me at ease and they took excellent care of him! Communication was prompt and thorough. They were extremely thoughtful, courteous, and conscientious! I feel so lucky to have found them, and I’m looking forward to them, taking care of my puppy in the future.
