Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to provide consistent care, plenty of attention, and regular updates throughout the day. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, enrichment activities, playtime, or simply having someone nearby for company, I'm happy to adjust my care to fit their routine. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible while you're away.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and any medical or behavioral needs before every booking. If your pet is staying in my home, they'll have plenty of opportunities for play, enrichment, rest, and affection in a calm environment. To help keep everyone safe—including my own two dogs—I currently only accept small dogs (up to 30 lbs) for boarding and daycare, and I require a meet-and-greet before every boarding stay. If I'm caring for your pet in your home, I do my best to keep their daily routine as consistent as possible while respecting your home and following your instructions carefully.

Information Tosha M. would like to know about your pet
The more I know about your pet ahead of time, the better I can care for them! Please tell me about their daily routine, personality, favorite activities, medical conditions, medications, allergies, fears, and any behaviors you'd like me to know about. For boarding and daycare, it's especially important that your dog is house-trained, friendly with other dogs, comfortable being left alone for short periods if needed, and up to date on vaccinations. A meet-and-greet is required before every boarding stay so we can make sure it's a great fit for everyone. There's no such thing as too much information when it comes to your pet—I love the little details because they help me provide the best care possible.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I like to tailor the day to their personality and energy level. Some dogs are happiest exploring on a walk or playing fetch, while others would rather spend the afternoon relaxing with a chew toy or soaking up some cuddle time. I enjoy incorporating enrichment activities, puzzle toys, sniffing games, and play throughout the day because mental exercise is just as important as physical exercise. My goal is for your pet to have fun, stay engaged, and feel safe and loved while you're away.

Pet care experience
I've spent the last 14 years working in veterinary medicine, caring for pets through every stage of life—from energetic puppies to senior companions and pets with medical needs. I'm comfortable administering medications, monitoring pets with chronic health conditions, and recognizing when something doesn't seem quite right. What I enjoy most is getting to know each pet as an individual. Every animal has their own personality, routine, and little quirks, and I believe those details matter. My goal is to provide the same level of thoughtful, compassionate care I'd want for my own pets, so you can enjoy your time away knowing they're in capable hands.

Reviews

Tosha took excellent care of Xander while I was away. I had complete piece of mind, knowing she could handle whatever came up. My house and plants were in great shape when I got back and Xander was content and relaxed. Thank you Tosha!
Tosha Martin is the best person to be able to take care of you and your dog needs. She has worked with animals for many years as a vet tech and I would count on her with anything. Walks, pet sitting, and anything vet type questions she's your person!
