About: Hi, I’m Sheila, a lifelong animal lover with a calm, nurturing presence and years of hands-on experience across species, ages, temperaments, and needs. I grew up on a small poultry farm surrounded by dogs, cats, and feathered friends, and I’ve continued that care into adulthood. I’ve raised and loved a variety of animals, including dogs, and cats of my own and through pet sitting for friends and with TrustedHousesitters, I’ve also supported families with senior pets, rescue animals, and those with medical or behavioral needs. I’m comfortable administering medications (oral, topical, and injected), adapting to animals with anxiety or mobility challenges, and tuning into what each pet uniquely needs, whether that's active play, a gentle routine, or quiet companionship. Spending time with pets is grounding and joyful for me, not an add-on or chore. It gives me purpose and balance, so I welcome the routine of feeding, walks, medication (if needed), and companionship as part of my everyday flow. I meet each pet exactly where they are. In your home, I follow the routine you’ve already established, so your pet feels safe and comfortable in their own environment. That means keeping consistent meal times, walking routes, play activities, or quiet company, whatever your pet is used to. I’m comfortable with administering medications, supporting anxious or shy animals with patience, and giving extra attention to senior pets. My goal is always to maintain stability, reduce stress, and provide genuine companionship so you come home to a happy, cared-for pet.

About: I have taken care of cats since I was young and for the past three years, I’ve taken care of my own puppy. I love all animals, providing for their needs, and giving them the love and attention they deserve. When I take care of them, I provide lots of photos and details of what went on during the visit to keep you updated. Your pets are safe with me! My schedule is currently very open, so I have plenty of room in my schedule to care for your fur baby and provide for their needs. If needed, I can crate your dog or keep them in a pen, whichever situation you have. I’m meticulous about making sure that there is nothing around that could harm your pet and I keep a vigilant eye.

About: Animals get me. I have a deep love for animals of all kinds. Large breed dogs are kind of my specialty but I love any and all! Cats, dogs, fish, or birds. I just moved here last week from NE FL. I am a nurse full-time but waiting on license transfer, I have a vehicle and no other obligations. I have full availability to be able to accommodate most all needs. I will follow and respect any and all requests. I’m very easy going and can work around whatever your needs are. I get we all have a certain way of doing things, especially with our fur babies!

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. As a stay at home mom, I have plenty of time to watch your loved ones while you’re away. We have an active but relaxed home. We currently have one extremely friendly, well socialized shepherd mix dog who gets along with every dog he meets. Over the years I’ve cared for friends’ and family’s dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. My kids love dogs and are able to let new dog friends acclimate without pestering. We walk the neighborhood every night and play in the backyard. I am a stay at home mom with elementary aged kids. Especially during the school year, I am almost always at home. My husband also works full time from home so there is always someone here to keep an eye on things. We have a great schedule in place for our dog in terms of potty breaks and feeding. We have a fully fenced back yard and a lovely neighborhood full of sidewalks to go on long evening walks. In our home, dogs are part of the family. They are allowed on the couch and sleep in our bedroom. Our dog has a nice schedule for feeding and going potty and he loves sunbathing on the back patio.

About: Ever since I was little I can remember always taking care of others - people, dogs, cats and many other little creatures along the way. Now as the new season approaches and spring welcomes us, I am now looking for new work and would love to care and connect with all the fur babies in our community here in Downtown Vancouver! I have open availability between 6am and 9pm everyday! More then enough to care for your fur babies and lend a helping hand:) Thank you! I have two sassy girl cats who love their floor to ceiling cat tree and many toys they go crazy for! With sassy being said, my services will be provided in home only as Indie and Luna are very particular with who they let into their home😅

About: I’ve been dog/house sitting for years for friends and family. Previously, I’ve been a volunteer at the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society, and I have owned dogs and cats since I was born, and I love taking care of animals. I also grew up on a farm. I am on winter break from college, from December 27th to January 28th. I am available day and night! I am more than willing to work around your schedule and make your life easier. I have a dog that has an electric fence surrounding my home. She receives two walks and meals a day. I would plan on walking and feeding my clients' pets the same way unless requested otherwise. Having a dog of my own also allows my clients' pets to be socialized while their parent is gone, if they are cool with other dogs.

About: Hi! We're Gina and James and we're so excited to welcome your dog into our home! We have been dog sitting in our home for over 5 years but took a break from Rover as we were taking care of our senior corgi. After our dog crossed the rainbow bridge we decided to open our home back up to dogs again. We have 1 dog, Toby, and we're blessed to be able to both work from home full time. Our house has a large fully fenced backyard and dogs have furniture privilege. We consider ourselves pet parents and love to spoil our dogs with lots of walks and playtime. We care deeply about your dogs safety and will ensure they are looked after as if they are our own. We have a gate separating the kitchen from the rest of the home so we can ensure there is no counter surfing and provide separation during mealtimes. We look forward to meeting you and your dog! James works from home full time and I am waiting to start nursing school in January 2027 so I have free time to spend with dogs! James is up early so can give out breakfast and do potty breaks for dogs first thing in the morning. We usually take a 2 mile sniffy walk around 10am and an afternoon walk can be added if needed We have a fully fenced backyard with lots of room for dogs to play. In our home we have a gate separating the kitchen from the rest of the house.

Please also share details about feeding times, potty habits, and any health or medication needs—so I can keep things consistent and stress-free for them. Or any other information you feel is necessary. For safety, I require that I can independently leash and handle your dog. During the meet and greet, I may ask to interact with your dog briefly without you present to ensure they’re comfortable with me. If a dog is unable to be safely handled during the stay, the booking may need to be adjusted or ended early. If your dog has aggressive or very anxious behavior with new sitters or their space, I suggest you book a few dog walks to establish trust.
