About: Aside from my professional experience as a wildlife biologist and Oregon zoo employee I'm a life long lover of cats. Growing up with them has taught me the patience sometimes needed to truly understand and bond with them. I am familiar with administering medications, dietary issues, cleaning litter boxes, and my wife and I are even the type of people to take our cats on supervised outdoor time with leashes.

About: I’ve been fostering and caring for dogs since I was in high school - Cats even longer, since I grew up with cats my whole life. I got a job as a dog bather in 2017 and then became an apprentice Dog Groomer in 2021! I work 6 hours a day on average for the city of Vancouver, so my schedule is pretty flexible! Open availability on the weekends and Mondays I get off work early! I have plenty of experience with caring for animals and have helped managed a shifting rotation of multiple dogs in one household that didn’t get along utilizing crates, gated areas and schedules.

While there are no other animals currently in my home, I have had my own dogs for nearly twenty years and been around various small and medium/large dogs for over a decade. I enjoy taking care of dogs, walking, playing, feeding, and bathing. I even trim my parent's dogs hair. I live in a one bedroom apartment so likely a better fit for small to medium dogs. About: I’ve been dog/house sitting for years for friends and family. Previously, I’ve been a volunteer at the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society, and I have owned dogs and cats since I was born, and I love taking care of animals. I also grew up on a farm. I am on winter break from college, from December 27th to January 28th. I am available day and night! I am more than willing to work around your schedule and make your life easier. I have a dog that has an electric fence surrounding my home. She receives two walks and meals a day. I would plan on walking and feeding my clients' pets the same way unless requested otherwise. Having a dog of my own also allows my clients' pets to be socialized while their parent is gone, if they are cool with other dogs.

About: I grew up with a black lab for nearly 14 years as a child and come from a family of Labrador lovers. I now take care of my own gentle giant black lab who I got to train as a service animal myself. I also have experience with high-energy dogs and running off energy! I am very loving and passsionate person towards dogs, they love my ear and belly rubs and often love to cuddle if that's their thing! My favorite things to do with dogs is taking them for adventures to the park/forest, river/lakes and the snow during wintertime. I am no stranger to labrador breeds but also have experince with Shepard and border collie breeds the most, as well as many others here and there. I've had my fair share of sick dogs, whether it be ear infection to cancer and know the emotional roller coaster and/or hassle of giving medications and can show the dogs lots of empathy if this is something that would be needed. I always treat dogs like their my own and would want the best for your pup just like I would for my own girl! I work non-traditional hours which means I frequently have a lot of days off in a row and then work once a week with 12 hrs in one day. This means I get to spend a lot of one-on-one with my personal dog, providing lots of attention, walks to the park and even days at the river and wouldnt mind some more company from other dogs as well! I live in pet friendly Tiny home with a friendly yard to roam and play. My own dog loves to cuddle on my couch whenever and can certainly share the space with another dog. I do have a cooling mat and a separate pillow for my dog, so there is no shortage of comfy spaces. I love to cuddle with the pups when I can if that's their thing and giving them lots of attention while I care for them.

“Karilla was extra flexible with drop off and pick up times! She sent us photos of Sandy everyday which we appreciated. She was also flexible and careful to keep our dog away from male dogs as she was on the tail end of her heat cycle. I would book again.”
