Between boarding my friends' dogs, taking care of my own, and recent bookings on Rover, I have extensive experience with the challenges involved and dedication required. Christopher was amazing with my senior dog! She has some special needs (supplements & medication to take at specific times of day) and he was great at following the details and caring for her. My dog loved the outdoor time with Christopher’s two dogs in the big yard too! Highly recommend.
Christopher helped me out with a last minute request. He was very accommodating and took great care of Koda. Sent plenty of updates and kept him active! I’d definitely book with him again.
Christopher is a great sitter, very responsive from booking to pick up. He prepared questionnaires for meet & greet, I see he is responsible and caring for dogs he takes care. My dog seems get comfortable there easily, being herself like at her own home. When I went to pick up, I could tell from her happy smiles she had a lots of fun there with his 2 sweet and friendly dogs, Cosmo and Bear.
Had a great vacation knowing that our dog was safe with a real pro. I appreciated that he’s got his dogs to keep company and limits the amount of dogs he will board so it’s manageable. His home provided a safe and enriching experience for our dog and communicating during booking and the during trip was quick and easy.
My dog had a great stay at Christopher W home. He has a spacious home and yard. Christopher was able to take care of our special needs and is quick to respond to messages. Zoey dog will be returning to stay on our next vacation.
This was our first time having Christopher care for our pup while we were away and it was a complete success. I really appreciated Christopher’s attention to detail both before and during boarding. When my dog wasn’t interested in his food (4th of July fireworks), Christopher reached out immediately. His house and yard are designed perfectly for dogs, with plenty of securely fenced outdoor space, a doggy door that my pup quickly figured out, and divided indoor spaces if needed. We received numerous pics and videos along with updates during my pup’s stay. With other dogs to play with, my buddy came back tuckered out, but not in a hurry to leave when I picked him up-it was like being at dog camp. Great experience.

Schedule
Dog care is my only job, so I am present for the dogs in my care for the majority of the day. My schedule is also flexible, so feel free to reach out at short notice.

Safety, trust & environment
I host a maximum of two dogs (other than my own) at a time and am only boarding new dogs that are small to medium in size (40lbs or under). I've installed a gating system that can cordon off the house into three separate areas as needed. I aim to maintain an uncrowded and relaxing environment in your dog's home away from home. My house is detached and set back far from the sidewalk. The backyard and a section of the front yard are fully fenced, and contain cedar chips to control mud and dust. The house itself is equipped with central AC, essential for the hot summer months. Conveniently located near PDX Airport and I5!

A typical day
Depending on your dogs' needs, they may join my own dogs on their daily off leash jaunts, enjoy a neighborhood leash walk, or relax and play in the house and yard.
