Between boarding my friends' dogs, taking care of my own, and recent bookings on Rover, I have extensive experience with the challenges involved and dedication required. I'm committed to providing your dogs with the same level of care as I do my own.

Had a great vacation knowing that our dog was safe with a real pro. I appreciated that he’s got his dogs to keep company and limits the amount of dogs he will board so it’s manageable. His home provided a safe and enriching experience for our dog and communicating during booking and the during trip was quick and easy.
My dog had a great stay at Christopher W home. He has a spacious home and yard. Christopher was able to take care of our special needs and is quick to respond to messages. Zoey dog will be returning to stay on our next vacation.
This was our first time having Christopher care for our pup while we were away and it was a complete success. I really appreciated Christopher’s attention to detail both before and during boarding. When my dog wasn’t interested in his food (4th of July fireworks), Christopher reached out immediately. His house and yard are designed perfectly for dogs, with plenty of securely fenced outdoor space, a doggy door that my pup quickly figured out, and divided indoor spaces if needed. We received numerous pics and videos along with updates during my pup’s stay. With other dogs to play with, my buddy came back tuckered out, but not in a hurry to leave when I picked him up-it was like being at dog camp. Great experience.
Intentional, caring, and a great set up for a dog. Easy 5-star review! Christopher was awesome for someone who, along with my pup, has a bit of anxiety staying with random people. We did a meet up before the stay where Christopher took notes and helped calm me and the dog! Ruby got walks, played in the big yard and felt right at home. Wonderful experience for dog & owners!

Chris is great! My dog has separation anxiety but he settled in well with Chris. And he loves playing with Cosmos.

Schedule
Dog care is my only job, so I am present for the dogs in my care for the majority of the day. My schedule is also flexible, so feel free to reach out at short notice.

Safety, trust & environment
For new clients, I now only host one dog at a time. Your dog and my two dogs will be the only ones here. I might simultaneously host two dogs I already know from repeat clients if the fit is good. I've installed a gating system that can cordon off the house into three separate areas as needed. I aim to maintain an uncrowded and relaxing environment in your dog's home away from home. My house is detached and set back far from the sidewalk. The backyard and a section of the front yard are fully fenced, and contain cedar chips to control mud and dust. The house itself is equipped with central AC, essential for the hot summer months. Conveniently located near PDX Airport and I5!

A typical day
Depending on your dogs' needs, they may join my own dogs on their daily off leash jaunts, enjoy a neighborhood leash walk, or relax and play in the house and yard.
