“Judson is a real one! Always consistant and absolutely speaks dog. Takes care of my 90lb reactive dog like it's nothing. Thank you Judson for giving Happy the exercise and mental work she needs.”

About: I love animals and have grown up with them. I have over 15 years of experience working with, and being around all kinds of animals, breeds, and temperaments. My experience with dogs includes my own, pet sitting (long term & short term), working as a veterinary assistant and interning at the zoo. I have a very calm, and patient personality, this often works well for dogs - especially those that are more nervous. I have worked with senior pets, puppies, experience administering medications, etc. I always keep a close eye on any dogs playing in my home. Your pup will get lots of snuggles, play and attention. I took a break from offering pet care services due to life changes, which is why there’s a gap between previous and most current pet care, but I am excited to get back to doing what I enjoy most! 😊 I work independently which allows me to have a flexible schedule. I can typically be available same day as my schedule allows. I am quick to respond on my availability. I make sure to follow all directions left by my client, whether their pet is crated, what to look out for, what they like/dislike, feeding schedules, etc. I always keep in contact with my client if anything seems “off” or different about their furry family member.
“Chelsea is wonderful! As a new pup mom was a bit anxious about getting all this started and how it would go for Maggie. Chelsea made it so easy, answered all my questions, shares pictures of their time together and assures Maggie is well cared for, couldn’t be happier!”

“Alexander was prompt and had good communication. He had a calm demeanor with our dog Chester which helped Chester remain calm and he enjoyed their walks. Thanks Alexander!”

About: I have had dogs in my life since birth. I was raised showing dogs for most of my young life, and caring for all types of dogs in the circuit. I have experience medicating animals, providing senior care, and communicating with veterinary staff if ever necessary. I am looking to make providing excellent pet care my full time job, so I am typically available most days! I aim to be flexible, so I am always open to chat about your needs and see what works best. I do not offer boarding at my home, as I have multiple older pets with specialized care. However, I am open and flexible with your pets' needs at your home, and am always open to entertaining special requests/needs to make sure you and your pets are comfortable with my visits to your home!
“YAY! So grateful I found Elaine. I twisted my ankle and she was there helping me every day for 7 days so that I could rest. Her energy, kindness, flexibility, communication, and love of animals is so evident. I would let Elaine take care of all of my animals at any moment. I will absolutely have her walk Ginger again. And also boarding!”

About: We have been house sitting / pet sitting for several months this year already! Clark has had dogs all his life and Kimberly has had cats all her life. We house sit for the same family every year that has 1 dog, 1 cat, 9 bunnies, 9 chickens, some fish and a large garden. At my old job I had two dogs around that I took on walks and to the vet and for baths all the time. We have plenty of experience and love animals. We are returning home to the Portland area after traveling for 6 months overseas! We are hoping to explore different areas of Portland while caring for your pets :) We have both recently started to look for new jobs so we have all the time in the world for your animals. We have great reviews and love being around the animals. We have experience watching all sorts of animals - dogs, cats, chickens, bunnies, and fish. We always leave the home cleaner than when we arrived and have no problems reaching out with questions or concerns.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for 10+ years and have a dog of my own that i love. Friends and family have relied on me to take care of their beloved pets and have always been satisfied with the care I give. I'm currently at home full time, so I can take care of your pet anytime during the week. Mornings & afternoons are preferred for walks but will do sitting after dark! I take dogs for walks at least twice a day, provide food, water, treats, toys, and cuddles if the dog is cuddly. My dog loves to play with other dogs as well.
About: Hi, I’m Kelsey! I have been surrounded by animals my entire life, from growing up with dogs and cats to years of dedicated pet sitting for friends, neighbors, and clients. I currently share my home with two dogs, a sweet senior who is 10 years old and a playful 3 year old pup, as well as a gentle senior cat who is 17 years old. Caring for pets at every life stage has taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to make each animal feel safe and loved. I have also volunteered at Cat Adoption Team, where I cared for cats of all ages and personalities, ensuring they felt comfortable and secure. Whether it is a playful puppy, a mellow senior dog, or a shy rescue cat, I take the time to understand each pet’s unique needs and personality. I am happy to handle walks, playtime, feedings, medication, and of course, plenty of cuddles. You can count on me to treat your pets like they are my own, and keep you updated while you are away. I own my own freelance graphic design business, so I set my own hours and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to easily fit in pet care visits and adjust my day to meet each pet’s needs. In my own home, I follow a consistent routine to ensure pets feel safe and cared for. I feed my dogs twice a day, morning and night, and we go to the dog park every morning with an evening walk to wind down. My senior cat is fed every morning and has her own comfortable space with a gate for privacy. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I adapt to their established routine so they feel comfortable and secure.

About: I grew up in a two dog two cat household so I've had plenty experience taking care of both. I can change a doggy diaper, clean up vomit, and cuddle up with the best of them. I have two cats of my own and often help my friends with their dogs when they go out of town. I'm a remote student with plenty of open day and night hours for pet caretaking and pet walking. Less available on Tuesday/Thursday unless you need house sitting and I can work from there. I care for pets in their own homes, as I have two cats of my own and they need their own space. I can do short overnight jobs or longer multi-check in jobs that allow me to still take care of my own cats in collaboration with my partner. Very willing to send update pictures and videos of your pets enjoying themselves while you are gone.
About: Ive had dogs ever since I was young. I don’t currently have pets, but my childhood dogs were a German Shepard mix and a little chihuahua. My German Shepard had so much energy and loves to stay active, so I understand what it’s like to have a very energetic dog - and love spending time with them. PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING I have a very flexible schedule due to working from home & will spend most of the day with your pup. However, I sometimes need to step out for personal errands, but I’m never gone for more than 2–3 hours at a time, and I always plan around the dogs’ needs—bathroom breaks, feeding, and general care. Please take this into consideration when booking with me. If needed I can do daily visits to see your pet in your home during the day, and go on walks, and basically play as much as your pet wants. ;)
About: Dogs are like children but they are very intelligent. They can be skiddish at times around new people, however, given the chance to, they can come to love the ones that take care of them. I found that the best way for a dog to meet and remember you is to let them smell your face. I used to dog sit and house sit for my Aunts friends. They had dogs that I have know when they were puppies. Every time I go over there, I let the dogs smell my face and they become really energetic and excited. Dogs can also be every respectful because they under stand that their owners and the people that care for them are the alphas and will take care of the pack. Having a pet my self, it’s a never ending job. Like humans, the pets we have are social creatures and need the emotional connection and care. I make sure my pets have food and water, their “bathroom” is clean for the next use, and all the cuddles in the world they can want
About: I've always had dogs around since I was a kid, so I have a lot of experience being around them. I have also had several different types of dogs with various temperaments, so I know the importance of understanding each dog individually. I now live in Australia but I am currently back in the U.S. visiting family. I have a lot of free time and would love to spend that time with your pets! I treat all dogs with respect and love like they deserve. I usually get along pretty well with each dog I meet, and I can't wait to meet yours!

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs since I was a teenager. I love animals so much, each is so unique! I have also done extensive dog training with my corgi for 3 years, she has anxiety and reactivity issues. So I’m well versed in those behaviors in animals! I am a pediatric nurse at Randalls in Portland. Rover is something I do on the side for fun because I enjoy it! I also just bought my first home so the extra income is very helpful. I am currently moving into my new home which is very spacious. I personally crate my dog at night, but let her roam inside during the day. I can follow whatever directions you need for your fur baby!
