“Always a wonderful and trustworthy person, Judson communicates really well with people and dogs! He has the best attitude. He's amaizing with my giant pulling machine and gives her the excersize she needs. Highly recommend!”

“Thank you for showing care and interest in my 2 year old mini aussie. Jasper really enjoyed meeting you! We all did! I would recommend your prompt, responsible service to anyone with pets. Thank you!”

About: I love all of the fur babies! Old ones, young ones, happy ones, cranky ones. I’ve been pet sitting since I was 14-15 and will treat your little ones like they are my own. I’m an artist by trade, although work can be flexible, the majority of my availability would be mornings or evenings. (Sometimes mid day depending on the day) I love when pet owners have a list of what their pet feels comfortable with and what their preferences are when it comes to taking care of them. I love to follow instructions, I want your pet to feel as comfortable with me as they do with you! :)
“Great dog walker and even better person. She made sure our pup got all the walking she needed and was able to schedule on short notice. Definitely a life saver in a pinch!”

“Marissa went above and beyond for my pup and my roommate's furbabies. Great communicator and extremely compassionate. Highly recommend and we will definitely be requesting marissa again!”

About: We have been house sitting / pet sitting for several months this year already! Clark has had dogs all his life and Kimberly has had cats all her life. We house sit for the same family every year that has 1 dog, 1 cat, 9 bunnies, 9 chickens, some fish and a large garden. At my old job I had two dogs around that I took on walks and to the vet and for baths all the time. We have plenty of experience and love animals. We are returning home to the Portland area after traveling for 6 months overseas! We are hoping to explore different areas of Portland while caring for your pets :) We have both recently started to look for new jobs so we have all the time in the world for your animals. We have great reviews and love being around the animals. We have experience watching all sorts of animals - dogs, cats, chickens, bunnies, and fish. We always leave the home cleaner than when we arrived and have no problems reaching out with questions or concerns.

About: I've been surrounded by dogs my entire life, starting with family pets in childhood that taught me the joys and responsibilities of canine companionship. Over the years, I've owned and cared for my own dogs, handling everything from daily feeding, exercise, and grooming to training and providing a loving, structured environment. In addition to my personal dogs, I've frequently pet sat for friends and family, giving me hands-on experience with a wide range of breeds and personalities. I've cared for small and energetic pups like Chihuahuas, loyal family favorites such as Golden Retrievers and Black Labrador Retrievers, herding breeds including Australian Shepherds, and larger, more powerful dogs like Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Doberman Pinschers, Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, Appenzeller Sennenhunds, and even a wolf hybrid. This diversity has made me comfortable with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels—from playful and high-drive breeds to calm guardians. I understand the unique needs of each dog, whether it's plenty of exercise for active breeds, gentle handling for smaller ones, or confident leadership for stronger personalities. I'm passionate about ensuring every dog feels safe, happy, and loved while in my care, just as I would want for my own. I can't wait to meet your furry friend and provide them with the attentive, reliable care they deserve! I work primarily from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide part-time pet care without any scheduling conflicts. Being home most of the day means I can offer frequent potty breaks, play sessions, meals, and plenty of attention throughout the day. My routine easily accommodates dog walks and drop in visits, I love structuring my workday around the needs of the pets in my care. Dogs have always been part of my daily life, so adding pet sitting feels natural and rewarding rather than an interruption. I primarily offer in-your-home services such as dog walks, drop-in visits for feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and medication administration, so your pup can stay comfortable in their familiar environment while you’re away. When I arrive for a visit, I always follow your detailed instructions to the letter—feeding exact portions at scheduled times, administering any medications safely, and providing fresh water. Walks are tailored to your dog’s energy level and preferences: brisk walks for high-drive breeds, gentle strolls for seniors or smaller dogs, and everything in between. I make sure to use the leash, routes, and commands you specify. Play sessions are all about fun and enrichment—I bring the energy for fetch, tug, or just cuddles and belly rubs, depending on what your dog loves most. Potty breaks include plenty of time to sniff and do their business, followed by a quick paw wipe if needed. Before leaving, I tidy up any toys, secure the home exactly as I found it, lock up carefully, and send you photos, videos, and a detailed update via the Rover card so you can see your happy pup in action. My goal is simple: your dog gets loving, attentive care and never feels alone, while you have complete peace of mind.
“Deanna is an incredible dog whisperer:) Lola absolutely loves spending time with her! I highly recommend 🙂 I’ve always appreciated Deanna’s sharp communication and photo updates. Book her today! :)”

About: I have had dogs in my life since birth. I was raised showing dogs for most of my young life, and caring for all types of dogs in the circuit. I have experience medicating animals, providing senior care, and communicating with veterinary staff if ever necessary. I am looking to make providing excellent pet care my full time job, so I am typically available most days! I aim to be flexible, so I am always open to chat about your needs and see what works best. I do not offer boarding at my home, as I have multiple older pets with specialized care. However, I am open and flexible with your pets' needs at your home, and am always open to entertaining special requests/needs to make sure you and your pets are comfortable with my visits to your home!
About: I have two golden retrievers at home. They are high energy and require playtime often, walks daily, and grooming care. I do all of this for them. One is 11 and requires additional senior care. I’m currently working part-time self scheduling my shifts, mostly during evenings. I’m able to help with your needs during the days while you are away at work! I have a fully fenced backyard and two golden retrievers. I am able to crate your dog if needed or can section off an area of the house.
About: Dogs are like children but they are very intelligent. They can be skiddish at times around new people, however, given the chance to, they can come to love the ones that take care of them. I found that the best way for a dog to meet and remember you is to let them smell your face. I used to dog sit and house sit for my Aunts friends. They had dogs that I have know when they were puppies. Every time I go over there, I let the dogs smell my face and they become really energetic and excited. Dogs can also be every respectful because they under stand that their owners and the people that care for them are the alphas and will take care of the pack. Having a pet my self, it’s a never ending job. Like humans, the pets we have are social creatures and need the emotional connection and care. I make sure my pets have food and water, their “bathroom” is clean for the next use, and all the cuddles in the world they can want

About: Currently I work full time at a vet clinic in Portland, and have been there for almost 2 years, and prior to that worked for the Humane Society of SW WA for several years. I have fostered many dogs and cats alike as well on the side for many years, pets from kittens and pups to seniors! I have professional, paid experience with medication administration, dog training, potty training, and feel very comfortable around dogs and cats of all breeds! Much of my training was from Certified Veterinary Technicians or DVM's with years of experience. My dog, Meelah, is my life. She loves other pups, and she is kind and sweet and very well socialized. We love to learn new tricks, and we'd love to teach your pup or cat some!
About: Ive had dogs ever since I was young. I don’t currently have pets, but my childhood dogs were a German Shepard mix and a little chihuahua. My German Shepard had so much energy and loves to stay active, so I understand what it’s like to have a very energetic dog - and love spending time with them. PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING I have a very flexible schedule due to working from home & will spend most of the day with your pup. However, I sometimes need to step out for personal errands, but I’m never gone for more than 2–3 hours at a time, and I always plan around the dogs’ needs—bathroom breaks, feeding, and general care. Please take this into consideration when booking with me. If needed I can do daily visits to see your pet in your home during the day, and go on walks, and basically play as much as your pet wants. ;)
Image dog parents share their Rover experiences
Shelbi has been great when getting to know me and my pup. She came over when I needed her unexpectedly to support my puppy when I had to work late. I’m beyond grateful for her help and enjoy knowing my puppy will get to spend time walking with her when I can’t.
