About: I’ve had dogs, cats, and small animals my whole life. I’ve even fostered with rescues in the past. I recently lost my own dog and thought maybe I could cuddle someone else’s while they travel. I work from home and have a fully fenced yard which your pet would have access to at any time they like! I work from home for the Dept of Veterans Affairs and usually have the back door open for access to the fenced yard throughout the day. Outside of errands, I am typically home with them. I have a fenced yard with plenty of access for the pets. When they’re here, they’re family so if they want in the sofa: great! Sleep in bed: even better! Or if they prefer the safety of their crate, that’s good too. I want them to feel comfortable. Unless they’re from the same household, I prefer to keep one dog at a time to make sure they get undivided attention. But, if they’re social and like to play, I live super close to the dog park! If you just want drop-in visits or walks, just let me know how I can best accommodate and I’ll be happy to work something out to suit your needs.
“Jessica did a great job with Toby! We really appreciated her taking the time to come meet him first and make sure he was comfortable. The walk went great and we appreciate the cute pictures!”

About: Gigi loves all the babies! I’m a cat & dog mom and Gigi to 3 grandkitties who live right next door. Would love to spend time with your little (or big) sweetheart too. Confident with dogs of all sizes including reactive dogs, meds administration for dogs and cats, and am available for overnight care. I’m currently working from home and make my own hours so can easily work around your schedule. I’m available for drop-in’s, walks, and overnight care. I have a calm energy most animals welcome and I’m usually able to gain their trust early. Having raised 2 dogs and several cats through medical conditions and several moves, I’ve become very attuned to their body language which helps me to understand their needs and wants.
“Kat was very good with my pup. Shes on time, very good with communication and most of provided excellent care for my pup. My shepherd was happy to be her ...such a wonderful vibe.”

About: Hi there! My name is Maya, and caring for animals has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve fostered everything from tiny puppies to sweet senior dogs, each with their own personalities, quirks, and needs. I’ve also raised two litters of kittens, helping them grow into confident, healthy little explorers. I regularly dog sit for my grandma and for close family friends whenever they’re out of town, so I’m very comfortable with different routines, temperaments, and care instructions. Whether it’s energetic playtime, slow strolls, medication reminders, or just keeping a nervous pet company, I’m happy to adapt to whatever your animal needs. Most importantly, I truly love every animal I meet. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I take that responsibility seriously. If you choose me, I’ll treat your pet like one of my own. With patience, affection, and attention to detail. I’m excited to meet your furry family member and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I am on summer break as I am attending Portland State University for a civil engineering degree. My schedule is fully open and ready for whatever you may need! I will give love and attention to your fur baby on each of my check-ins and walks. Let me know what you would expect from me and I will most definitely make it happen!

About: I have cared for dogs and cats my entire life and have experience caring for chickens as well. I previously volunteered with the Humane Society for Southwest Washington (HSSW), where I worked primarily with large dogs. Through my volunteer work, I completed dog safety training and learned how to recognize and de-escalate potentially stressful situations to help keep both animals and people safe. I am also an Eagle Scout. For my Eagle Scout service project, I designed and built an outdoor shelter structure for HSSW that provides volunteers and staff with protection from the weather while supervising dogs in the play yard. Working closely with the shelter further strengthened my commitment to animal welfare and my passion for caring for pets. I am generally available after 3:00 PM on weekdays. I have classes during the mornings and early afternoons on some weekdays, but I do my best to keep my schedule flexible for pet care. Animals are always my top priority, and I am committed to making sure they receive the time, attention, and care they deserve. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have experience handling dogs of all sizes through my volunteer work at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, where I regularly walked and worked with large dogs. I received dog safety training and learned how to recognize and de-escalate stressful situations to help keep both pets and people safe. I'm comfortable handling strong or energetic dogs and use proper leash-handling techniques to ensure walks are safe and enjoyable. Through both my volunteer experience and completing my Eagle Scout service project at the animal shelter, I have spent significant time working in environments with dogs present and understand how to remain calm, attentive, and respectful of each animal's needs. When caring for pets, I treat them as if they were my own by following their routines, respecting their boundaries, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

“Francisca was amazing! She went above and beyond while I went out of town for 7 days. I was so anxious to leave my pup alone and Francisca made me feel so comfortable. She gave great daily communication and updates. She took my pup to run some errands and even spent extra time with my pupper after the walks to make her feel safe (My dog and I have never been apart that long). I could see on the house camera that she treated my pup/my home with such respect and treated my pup and if she were her own. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Francisca to another seeking a walker/sitter and I will definitely be using her in the future! I think I even made a friend! ?❤️”

Kathlene is amazing, she did a meet and greet with me before we both committed. My dogs absolutely loved her. She has done two walks for me this week. Since they went great, I will definitely be utilizing her long term twice a week. For walks. Thank you again kathlene.
