Your dog will hang out with my family as if they were our own, and if it's not too hot out, they'll typically be my co-pilot as I complete errands and/or drop-in visits.

Information Lisa V. would like to know about your pet
Is he current on his flea medication? Our home is 2 stories, how does he do with stairs? Does he travel well in the car? Is he potty trained? Does he have any accidents? Does he get along with others? People and dogs? How does he do with kids? Any food allergies or special diet? Has he had obedience training or is he still learning? Does he listen and obey commands? Any bad habits? - chewing, digging, food aggression, barking, etc. We are dog lovers! We especially like large dogs and have a special soft spot for labradors. We have a small child, so even though we love all dogs we can only accept child friendly breeds.

Home care services are available too - check your mail, take out the trash, water plants, etc. My husband and I both grew up with dogs, but in 2002 we rescued our own little bundle of joy who grew into a 110 lb big bundle of joy, a chocolate lab we named Austin. We were so surprised, and caught off guard, by how much we loved this guy. This depth of love is like no other, he stole our hearts... he truly was our furry child. In 2012, our family unexpectedly had to say goodbye to our very best friend... our partner in crime, confidant, walking buddy, foot warmer, bed hogger, brother, therapist, "mommy's big guy", and co-pilot. We were heartbroken, and our home felt so empty and quiet, even with our 2 1/2 year old son keeping us crazy busy. "Austin" had changed our lives forever. He filled our hearts with joy and our life with love, and taught us things like humility, always greet everyone with enthusiasm, any time is play time, everyone is a friend, each moment is a new moment, never hold a grudge, smell every thing along the way and roll in the good stuff, chase anything that runs, and keep one eye on the cat. After our loss, we started helping a local dog rescue by fostering dogs coming out of high kill shelters. We felt this was "Austin-Approved". It was a way for us to give back while providing them a safe, loving space where we could discover their personalities, quirks and qualities and they could feel loved again while waiting for their new fur-ever homes. "He took my heart and ran with it, and I hope he's running still, fast and strong, a piece of my heart bound up with his forever" -- dog quote by Patricia McConnell Meet my pets We currently have no pets. About my yard We have a small fenced backyard. My experience administering medication Yes, our big guy had allergies and required shots. We are comfortable with administering medication.
Reviews

Lisa made drop in visits to our elderly cat Skippy over a 7 day period in June. She is an amazing pet sitter, very detail oriented and was so attentive to Skippy's needs and quirks! We loved that she sent many photos & videos of Skippy's time under her care which showed her respect of his routine. We returned to find Skippy relaxed, happy and our home as we left it. Skippy was so comfortable with her as shown in photos. We highly recommend Lisa and will definitely request her in the future!

Lisa was amazing!! She was super thorough and understood all my dog’s needs. She provided so many pictures and updates which made being away a little less hard. 100% would recommend her, she did a great job. Thank you Lisa!

Lisa is so fantastic! Our two kitties who are incredibly skittish love her and come downstairs as soon as she arrives. She’s our only house visitor that our kitties want to see. Even our best friends, who are huge cat lovers with four cats of their own, have only seen glimpses of ours as they skedaddle up to hide under our bed. But for Lisa they come running as soon as they hear her key in the door. We’re so grateful for Lisa, so that my anxiety at leaving my babies at home is eliminated. Thank you Lisa!

Lisa is always the best. Can’t say enough good things about her as a sitter
