I love dogs and understand the importance of them in a person’s life. I’ve seen examples of dogs being loved and treated as a man’s best friend and it is obvious that people really care about their animals. Growing up, our family always owned at least one dog, and when I moved into my grandparents house for college, I was around at least 5 Yorkshire Terriers every time I was at the house. I currently live with 1 dog and 2 cats. When given chores as a child, my parents would always have at least one job caring for our own dogs such as feeding, playing with, brushing, it taking out to potty. Outside of family connections to being around dogs, I have dog sat and fed dogs for my neighbors in the past.
