“Very much appreciated ! I booked Elaine very last minute and she took the time to still come over and meet me and my dog before I confirmed booking which was super nice. Gave me updates and comminicated well ! Thank you!”

“Sam takes excellent care of my dog. He is fearful of strangers and Sam was not intimidated. They navigated his initial prickliness and the two of them are now good friends. It gives me so much peace of mind to know he is in good hands while I’m away!”

“Felicia went *above* above and beyond with my skittish cat! She sent such nice updates and lots of photos, brought extra treats for my lil man, and experimented with different ways to engage him. He was having big trouble before my trip, as he’d recently lost his brother – so I was extremely worried about leaving him. Felicia took that to heart and loved on him as if he were her own. She must have a sixth cat sense, because my cat is very shy and skittish; despite that, he quickly became comfortable with her, and even endured a building-wide alarm test without any residual trauma upon my return. That speaks volumes about how Felicia put him at ease! I can’t recommend her as a cat sitter enough.”

“Thank you so so very much for taking such excellent care of my pets and home while we were away. I appreciate all the communication and videos and pictures! You are so sweet and an amazing person to have cared for our for children. Thank you!”

About: With over 15 years of hands-on dog care experience, We’ve fostered more than 20 dogs since 2020 and spent 3 years volunteering at a dog rescue, focusing on training, exercise, and support for both reactive and rescue dogs. We also have two cattle dogs and specialize in positive, consistent puppy training. We have two cats as well. I (Zach) work from home with a very flexible schedule, which allows me to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. I'm happy to adapt to your pet's routine, whether that means feeding, walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in your absence. I (Janexis) I'm a Teacher and I'm available after 4pm and weekends. One of dog required weekly shots, so we have experience administering injections. When caring for pets in a client’s home, we follow a structured, consistent routine tailored to each pet’s needs. We use positive reinforcement to build trust and encourage good behavior, always prioritizing your pet’s comfort and well-being. We're experienced with crate-trained dogs, but we’re also more than happy to share the couch or bed with your furry companion, just like home. Our goal is to maintain your pet’s routine while providing a loving, stress-free environment in your absence.
“Sheila was great with our cat! She spent extra time and sent lots of great photos and videos. Great communication throughout. Would happily recommend and rebook.”

I have my own animals at home I need to care for but between my wife and myself I have a flexible schedule and should be available whenever you need me. I'm experienced with all level of dog, cat, reptile, etc. care at all ages, including training. “Mandi was fantastic! She made sure my kitten got plenty of exercise and stayed active, and she was incredibly responsive throughout. I felt totally at ease knowing my pet was in such caring and capable hands.”

About: I am kind and caring to all pets. Patience is the name of the game for some pets so I always make sure they’re comfortable. Being self-employed allows me to have a fairly open availability to help care for your pet(s). Luckily my business doesn’t take up too much of my day and gives me the freedom to spend my day doing other things that make me happy. Making sure your pets’ needs are met is my top priority. I have a roommate that is sometimes away for business so I make sure her cat is fed, hydrated, kept clean, and well loved.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. Recently just had to say goodbye to my pup of 10 years. We walked a healthy amount three times a day rain snow or shine I work as a teacher so I’m home early enough to walk a dog or two and can make morning walks happen too if needed. When I walk dogs, I hold on to them with their leash wrapped around my wrist and led very calmly. I can also work with non leash trained dogs.

“Kate did a great job taking care of my new cat. She gave really thoughtful updates throughout the week which eased a lot of my worries about leaving her. Daisy was happy and healthy when I got home. Will definitely be booking again!”

About: Animals love me, and I love them! My family has always had dogs, and I was always the one to walk them. Tiny dog? I'll walk them. Medium dog? I'll walk them. Big dog? I'll walk them. REALLY big dog? I'll walk them. I have walked dogs of all sizes, ages, and speeds. No matter the size, dogs respond well to my energy, and they can tell I'm excited to see them. If your dog doesn't like walks, I can stop by and let them out in your backyard and even throw a ball for them 1 to 100 times. I'm currently working part-time from home on a boring computer. Happy to take a break to hang out with your cute animal(s) instead! I usually go on a walk 1-2 hours a day, so why not bring your dog along? I also have a car, so I can get to your neighborhood in a breeze. I have experience walking reactive dogs. I am aware of my surroundings and always cross the street safely if I spot another dog approaching. I always communicate with dogs in a friendly and calm demeanor.
About: Having a dog myself, I know how hard it is when you need to leave, so I treat that responsibility seriously! What sets me apart is the level of attention and presence I give to every dog. I’m attentive throughout the day and focused on each dog’s comfort, routine, and emotional well being. I’m patient with your dog, observant, and quick to notice changes in behavior or needs. I’m comfortable following detailed instructions, caring for young puppies, and supporting them as they adjust to routines. My goal isn’t just to meet expectations, but to make both you and your dog feel completely at ease. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine and I structure my day around making sure dogs get consistent attention, bathroom breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. I’m home enough to be present and attentive, and I enjoy building my schedule around a dog’s needs and routine. Whether your dog is more energetic or more laid-back, I will make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and never ignored. I live in a dog friendly apartment building with plenty of nearby parks and walking trails, which means lots of opportunities for walks, sniffing, and mental stimulation throughout the day. While I don’t have a private fenced yard, there is a large fenced dog park close by for safe, enclosed play and lots of fetch. I’m very mindful of each dog’s comfort level and tailor outdoor time to what helps them feel happiest. My goal is for you to leave knowing your dog is in caring, capable hands and to come back to a happy, relaxed pup.
“He was very communicative and even did extra things that I forgot to ask him to do in the midst of travel prep — e.g., taking out my garbage bins. Highly recommend!”

“Michaela recently met Vino and is working in a relationship with him. She is very kind, attentive to Vino’s needs and keeps communication open with us as parents. We can’t wait to continue partnering with her for Vino’s care.”

Edgewood Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
My girls and I love Megan! She takes such good care of my babies and is excellent at communication. I never feel like I have to worry when im away because she asks any necessary clarifying questions and spoils them with walks and affection! I wouldn't hesitate to use her again!

Rebecca was great! She’s so kind and sweet and our cat immediately took to her. Asked questions to make sure she had everything covered and that we were comfortable with her. She was great about updating us with photos and what she was doing. It took off so much stress from us. We will definitely be using her again!

Katie is your ideal sitter. She is reliable, quick to respond, flexible and leaves informative updates. My cats also liked her and when we came home it was clear she had been keeping up with all the chores involved. She takes care of things without needing too much explanation which is nice when you are gone. Would 100% recommend her.

Andrew has now kindly looked after my dog in his own home and done drop-in visits on my cat in my own place and it’s such a relief to find a kind, caring, communicative person to trust with their care!! He made sure to cover all the information needed while I was away and shared lovely updates throughout the week. He’ll continue to be my preferred go-to person to look after my pets any time I’m away, thank you Andrew!!
