About: With over 15 years of hands-on dog care experience, We’ve fostered more than 20 dogs since 2020 and spent 3 years volunteering at a dog rescue, focusing on training, exercise, and support for both reactive and rescue dogs. We also have two cattle dogs and specialize in positive, consistent puppy training. We have two cats as well. About: Aside from my professional history as a wildlife biologist and former Oregon Zoo keeper I am a life long lover of dogs, cats, and all animals. I am experienced in all aspects of animal welfare from puppy training to administering senior dog medication and clipping cat nails. I'm in shape to handle any sized dog in the event of aggressive leash pulling or needing to lift a dog in case of emergency. I bring professional animal handing experience and an innate understanding and empathy towards animals. Recently furloughed Government wildlife biologist, I am currently available 24/7 if needed. I have my own animals at home I need to care for but between my wife and myself I have a flexible schedule and should be available whenever you need me. I'm experienced with all level of dog, cat, reptile, etc. care at all ages, including training. I can do multiple feeding a day, administer medication, walk, play, crate train, etc. I have an enclosed backyard in a quiet neighborhood that is safe for dogs of all sizes.

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember (I’ve been sneaking animals in my home since I was in diapers😌), and being around them truly makes me happiest. I’m incredibly empathetic toward animals (I don’t even kill bugs!), so every pet in my care is treated with gentleness, patience, and genuine love. The dogs in my photos are my beloved old pups (Milo the Golden Retriever and Yoshi the Shih Tzu) Milo was 8wks when I got him and Yoshi was 5wks — I don’t currently have any dogs, but I do have two friendly cats at home. About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 16 years old. I adopted my most recent rescue about five years ago. I take her on multiple long walks every day! I also have experience with senior dogs and disabled dogs. I currently work part time and make my own schedule, so I can work around your needs. I am available for multiple check-ins a day, and will walk whatever route needed. I have a fully fenced backyard and live right next to a park with walking trails. I have a dog who loves playing with other dogs, but can be separated if needed.

About: I’ve been pet/housesitting for the majority of my life! Growing up I was relied on heavily by many. I was consistently approached by family, friends, and neighbors. There were quite a few people that had me as their go-to whenever they needed the help and I made a strong connection with. I always get excited when people ask me to petsit for them! On top of that, I’ve done a lot of volunteer work at animal shelters, including dog walking, cleaning, and playing. I’m currently a SPED Educational Assistant, 8am-3:30pm every weekday at a school in Portland. Anytime around that I am free and willing, but I understand if that is too large a gap in the days as far as house sitting goes. Otherwise, my weekends are entirely free, as well as my summer break! I will accommodate to whatever needs must be met for your pet! I want to make sure your fur baby is completely safe, comfortable and happy with me. Every animal is different and I love to make space for them and learn about what they like, dislike, need, as well as their quirks and personalities. Connection and trust is very important to me.

About: I've grown up constantly around dogs and taking care of them. My family and I would often get dogs from shelters, so behavioral issues are no problem for me! I'm used to the crazy-fun nature of these furry creatures. I have trained all my dogs, and when I was 14 got my own chihuahua that I raised from a puppy. About: I have a deep love for dogs and years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of different ages, breeds, temperaments, and medical needs. I previously cared for my own two senior diabetic dogs, one of whom also had a heart condition and Cushing’s disease, so I understand the importance of patience, routine, trust, and careful attention to detail. I am comfortable with senior dogs, special diets, oral medications, injections, and dogs who need a little extra care.
