About: Hello, fellow dog-lovers! My name is Haleigh, I have been a dog owner for 19 years, and I have a vivacious passion for all animals and their well-being. I currently share my home with one pup, a four-year-old Chihuahua mix named Aldo, who is easy-going but slightly anxious. I love playing with him, cuddling with him, petting him, and taking him for walks. Luckily, there is a lovely park that is about a 10 minute walk from our apartment that Aldo and I frequent. I own my own manuscript editing business and work from home, so I have plenty of time during the day to give my little guy lots of love. It brings me so much joy to be able to spend my day surrounded by furry friends, and I can't wait to get to know some new ones! My fiancé is also a dog-lover, and when he isn’t at work, he loves giving our doggo lots of attention and pets, as well. I currently work part-time and from home, so I will have plenty of time to give your pups lots of attention! I’m kind of a homebody, so I rarely have plans that take me away from caring for your pups all day, in the evening, or on the weekends. I live in an apartment and have one pup that will keep your fur baby company all day. We live about a 10 minute walk away from a wonderful secluded neighborhood park.

“Can I give 6 stars??? Dominique takes such great care of my Beagle while I'm in the office. He loves her so much he starts whining to be let out when we pull in the driveway. 😂 She sends photos and updates throughout the day, is very flexible on his care needs. I think the most important thing is that I can focus on priorities during the day and not worry over Watson's happiness and safety. I know he's having fun playing with Poppy and friends!”

“Hannah was great with Shadow. He really enjoy being in her environment and playing amongst other dogs. I would have Hannah watch my dog again.”

“Deborah made sure our dog Wild was cared for and had friends to play with. Her dog Finn is a sweetheart. We appreciated how Deborah was a great communicator and made sure Wild had plenty of exercise, food and fun!!! We look forward to bringing Wild back in the future. Thank you”

“Hazel appeared to be well loved today at daycare. Hope was great at keeping me informed and sending pictures.”

“Matt and Jamie were amazing! Waffles came home and immediately went to bed! He had a great time with the puppies and fit right in! Matt was very accommodating and quick to respond! We loved getting pictures and videos throughout the day especially since this was our first time using Rover. Great experience and will certainly book again with Matt!”

“Brian was great! He was very energetic and communicative when caring for Nova. Upon picking up my dog, he told me what his plans were with Nova for the day and even sent pics. I was in the middle of moving when I needed someone to watch my dog. Brian was very accommodating and flexible with drop off times as the movers were hours late. I plan on using Brian again in the future!”

“Sona is a PERFECT sitter! Our dog is a rescue and needs to be babied and she was so kind to him! We could tell she was gentle to him because he was happy and calm when we picked him up. He loved her dog too! She's kind but also knowledgeable, and understood that dogs can have different reactions on or off leash. Sometimes sitters don't know dog psychology, so that was an extra green light. Totally recommend and will book again!”

“My pup always has a great time with Gil and Peaches. He started getting excited as soon as we pulled up, which is new for him! Thanks again, yall!”

“Michelle was great with Hobbs, she took great care of him and it’s clear he loved being around her. She sent pics and videos to me throughout day, she’s great.”

“Jocelyn has such a calm and sweet energy. My dogs settled right in at her place. Her communication was excellent, and she kept me informed of their activities throughout the day. I will definitely use her daycare again.”

About: Hello, we’re Nick and Laura. I'm (Laura) from the UK and Nick is from the US, we’re married and have spent the past 1.5years back in Oregon house sitting (through this and other platforms) and have been lucky enough to travel. Alongside dog boarding and daycare I work part time with youth in downtown Portland (remote) to strengthen financial stability and growth. Nick has recently started a travel guitar business (TravelTone Guitars) and works with a vinyl record company on their machines. based here in Portland. We’ve finally put some roots down in NE Portland and LOVE it here, it’s a great area to explore with a dog, there’s parks, the gorge, rivers, walkable neighbourhoods plus bars and cafes for the dogs who enjoy those environments and getting a treat or two from the staff. We’ve had a range of animal and house sitting/boarding experiences both together and separately around the UK, Canada and USA. Both have experience with shelter dogs with Nick having fostered 16 dogs over the years and I have volunteered at a shelter. We’ve both grown up with dogs and while our current lifestyle doesn’t fit with having our own dog we absolutely love taking care of others. We feel very comfortable and confident in looking after dogs husbandry, dietary and enrichment needs. I have a professional background in animal welfare so we pride ourselves on putting any dog in our care first. We have worked with and looked after a lot of rescue dogs, most of which have some sort of behavioural, emotional or physical need that we take time to meet and manage. We aren’t put-off by a dog who is shy, needs time to build up trust with us and needs their training to be continued while they are in our care. We have had a lot of experience in that area and know that our patience gets greatly rewarded when the dog knows they can trust us and feels safe with us. We are confident in taking dogs of all sizes out for walks and are happy to do so with dogs that get triggered by other dogs, loud noises or cars. We respect animal / human relationships so have always updated the people we have pet-sat for with photos and videos as often as they want. Our yard is fenced, animals are allowed on our furniture if that;s what they are used to doing and we live in a quiet neighbourhood but with enough going on so that with the curtains drawn your dog can get some great people watching in (we keep the curtains shut for any pup who gets stressed out or over excited by passersby). We are currently both working part time and remotely so have plenty of time and flexibility that means we can cater to the needs of your dogs and ensure they get the care and attention they need and deserve. We would welcome the chance to meet you and your dog before they come to stay with us or have a chat to go through any of their needs and answer any questions you might have. We are great at following instructions, diet and medication to ensure the animals routine isn’t upset whilst they get used to not being with their people. We love playing with dogs, I challenge them to get bored of the game before we do :) We really like the outdoors so have taken a number of dogs (only if the owners want us to) on fun car rides to the gorge or forest park to get a good adventure in. Any dog that struggles with noises, other dogs etc we’re good at taking them on longer walks or runs early or late at night so they still get plenty of exercise in a calmer environment (we’ll of course take them out in between that time too/they will have access to our fenced in yard). We’ve had to give out plenty of medication from tablets to injections and have plenty of tricks up our sleeves. We like to give owners at least one update a day but usually 2 or even more if they want that. We really respect the relationship between humans and animals so want to make the separation easier for all involved.

About: My Fiancé and I are dog lovers and want some pups to give attention to! I work from home and Gunnar is home in the evenings so as many walks and as much play time as they want! We typically go out for a walk or even to the fenced dog park (parents permission first of course) every 3 hrs or so! Our live in pup Tia is very friendly with others but will help to herself too if your pup is shy. Sometimes she goes to work with dad for the day when she wants extra naps! We offer bathing services as well! So you can come home to your pup squeaky clean. We are so excited to meet you and your pups! I work from home part time so I prioritize walks and park trips multiple times a day! And my schedule is very flexible! I want to be outside just as much as they typically do! All pups are allowed on furniture, and in all spaces of the home! If they need anything special for their care I will always confirm I can provide it to make them and you as comfortable as possible!
