About: Ive had dogs ever since I was young. I don’t currently have pets, but my childhood dogs were a German Shepard mix and a little chihuahua. My German Shepard had so much energy and loves to stay active, so I understand what it’s like to have a very energetic dog - and love spending time with them. PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING I have a very flexible schedule due to working from home & will spend most of the day with your pup. However, I sometimes need to step out for personal errands, but I’m never gone for more than 2–3 hours at a time, and I always plan around the dogs’ needs—bathroom breaks, feeding, and general care. Please take this into consideration when booking with me. If needed I can do daily visits to see your pet in your home during the day, and go on walks, and basically play as much as your pet wants. ;)

“I was visiting my son in Camas,WA and needed daycare so we could spend time at Lake Merwin. I looked on Rover for daycare for my Goldendoodle and found Dana and Mark. They were very friendly, warm and welcoming. You can tell they love dogs. They have a beautiful, dog friendly backyard and even had a doggie pool! I loved the photos and videos they sent throughout the day. My dog was having so much fun, I wasn’t sure if he’d want to come back to the Airbnb with me. Finally, they were very accommodating when we picked up our dog later than expected! Dana and Mark are exceptional! I wish they were near my home in California Thank you for treating my fur baby as family!”

About: Have had dogs my whole life. Grew up on a ranch with working dogs. Was a 4-H leader, showed Bernese Mountain Dogs. Ellie and Beau are my two four legged Corgi kids. I live by myself with my dogs. Enjoy walking and training for the Portland to Coast event. I am a school bus driver so I get up early feed and short walk the dogs, go to work come home in 2-3 hours then we go on a nice long walk (weather permitting) then head back to work after being home for 3-4 hours. Run the bus for a couple hours then back home around 5 pm. Feed then short walk before bed. All over night stays comes with free walks. I have a fenced in small back yard with gazebo. There is a doggie door for small dogs. Water available inside and outside. Crating available if needed.

About: I’ve had more than 10 dogs and 3 cats in my lifetime. I have raised 10 pound cuties to 100 pound beasts and 8 week babies to 15 year old elders. I believe that animals deserve our respect and are the most deserving of love. I am “that” dog mom that makes her own dog food, takes them on wild adventures, and sleeps in bed with them every night. I promise to provide the same level of care to your babies as I do my own. I am currently not working a full time job so I am fully available to stop by and play with your pets, or stay with them while you go out of town. I have/had multiple shepherds, labs, small mixed breeds, high energy, senior, puppy, nervous/anxious, etc. so I am prepared for any temperament! I am very aware and take extra precautions to make sure fences are locked, collars are secured, and all directions are followed. I am able to administrator medications, bathing, extra long walks, etc. I have a reactive dog and a fearful dog myself so I know how to handle tough situations while in public or on a walk. I also read body language very well and know when an animal needs space, wants to engage with me, or needs something from me.
