About: I have had dogs since I was a kid and have taken care of lots of other people's dogs. I recently retired early, so I have more time to hang out with more dogs! I am very fit, and I am comfortable walking little dogs and big dogs. I also have a fenced yard...which is great for doggy play dates! I am flexible nowadays. I can walk your dog (s) and/or take care of your animals when you are gone- feeding, walking, playing, and definitely loved on! Playdates are also welcome at my residence after meeting my dog so I can make sure they are compatible. I have a large fenced yard. My dog and I recently completed a dog training class. I can train basic obedience skills, such as not pulling on the leash. I really love dogs.....if I haven't said that already! The dogs I have owned were all well behaved. I took them everywhere: hikes, travel, camping, kayaking, etc.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I’ve cared for and trained pets for as long as I can remember. I’m comfortable with different ages, personalities, energy levels, and routines, including puppies and basic training. I’ve volunteered with animal shelters and Walk for the Animals for multiple years, and I also have experience house and pet sitting for multi-pet households. One included caring for a dog, a bunny, three adult cats, and four kittens at the same time! About: On my mother’s farm I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, ducks, horses, and a donkey! I have fostered multiple puppies and helped with their potty training. I currently own two dogs myself, a 2 yr old Great Dane and a 12 yr old Blue Heeler who has dementia. I understand the patience furry family members need, as well has routine. I do my best to make every pet and person feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m currently working on my Master’s degree and as a para at a local school. I am available during the week before 7am and after 3pm. Weekends have varied availability so be sure to check my calendar! I am a certified teacher so I have completed background checks and can promise I will treat your home better than my own during drop-in visits. I am also comfortable providing medication if needed.

Ana is truly wonderful. She immediately presents with a calm friendly trustworthy manner. I sought her out for her medical training for help and suggestions with a cat that needs injections. It was hard to filter that out in search paarmeters but I really lucked out coming across Ana. Mark just watched our kitty while we were on a camping trip. Cali needs medicine twice a day. Mark made sure she got her Rx, food, water and lots of loves. Cali is very shy and hides from new people. Emma has been a great asset to my two very different kitties while we were away. We have a complicated situation with an outdoor kitty, and a very indoor/walk only on leash kitty. She was diligent at cleaning and maintaining a healthy environment for my fur children. I got lots of great photos and even the timid outdoor kitty warned up to her almost immediately 🐈 😺

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
