About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. As a stay at home mom, I have plenty of time to watch your loved ones while you’re away. We have an active but relaxed home. We currently have one extremely friendly, well socialized shepherd mix dog who gets along with every dog he meets. Over the years I’ve cared for friends’ and family’s dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. My kids love dogs and are able to let new dog friends acclimate without pestering. We walk the neighborhood every night and play in the backyard. I am a stay at home mom with elementary aged kids. Especially during the school year, I am almost always at home. My husband also works full time from home so there is always someone here to keep an eye on things. We have a great schedule in place for our dog in terms of potty breaks and feeding. We have a fully fenced back yard and a lovely neighborhood full of sidewalks to go on long evening walks. In our home, dogs are part of the family. They are allowed on the couch and sleep in our bedroom. Our dog has a nice schedule for feeding and going potty and he loves sunbathing on the back patio.

About: My family had a couple dogs growing up. I don’t remember a lot about the first but I would walk the second dog whenever I could. There wasn’t a time where I didn’t enjoy walking with her. The next thing I know, my aunt left behind a cat for us. I fed him each morning and night. He was a shy cat but happened to warm up to me quickly. Whenever he got a chance, he’d lay down on my lap. My family ended up with a Rover account. I walked those dogs and fed them whenever one of my family members couldn’t. Recently, we got a couple of cats. I feed these babies each morning and night. Typically I would do their litter too, yet, my family has the blessing of a cat genie. With every animal I’ve met, I make sure they get the attention they deserve, need, and want! Petting and playing around with cats and dogs is one of my favorite things to do. Or I could do the opposite if your animal doesn’t like to be pet! My schedule is really flexible, as I am currently unemployed but hoping I can find something. I am available for any kind of sit or drop in, whether it’s for just one day or for a long while. I like to go climbing and bowling with my boyfriend and friends but I’m stunted with a minor foot problem for the time being. Unfortunately I won’t be able to watch any clients’ pets at my house. In my home, I put my best effort towards my pets to make sure they feel safe in our home. I play with them and let them rest where they find it comfortable. In any of my clients homes, I respect their wants and needs for how their animal should be taken care of. I ask that someone tell me if their dog is potty trained, if they are allowed on couches/furniture, and how often they need to be taken on a walk. I’ll give a lot of play time, pets and belly rubs to the dogs and cats!

About: Lifelong animal lover of all shapes and sizes. I have the most experience caring for cats and dogs but have previously cared for and am comfortable with fish, birds, reptiles and small mammals. I regularly pet sit for friends and family and dedicate most of my time caring for my own pets. In my spare time, I volunteer at a local cat shelter. Most of my time is dedicated to caring for my own pampered pets but as well as others. I regularly pet sit for family and friends and on average take care of a handful of them 3-4 times a month. I try to spend my time surrounded by as many animals as possible. I currently have 2 cats and 1 dog. There is a large backyard with enough room for running and multiple rooms available for isolating animals if needed. I always have extra cat and dog supplies.

About: I have been pet sitting for a few years ever since I was in high school. I have taken care of many animals such as dogs, puppies, cats, guinea pigs, and chickens. I understand that every pet has their own individual personalities and take that into consideration. While I have fed according to their meal plans and dietary needs, walked, and given lots of love an attention to dogs and other animals I also take in their personality into consideration. It is important for your dog to feel comfortable and safe with the person taking care of them so that they won’t feel lonely or anxious while you’re away. I’m not currently working since I’m in Washington now after coming from school. So for now, my schedule is pretty open but I may get a part time job in the future if I can to help provide payment for my tuition. I walk the dogs at requested times or if the dog desires to do so, I always try my best to stay punctual on when they should be fed, taking them out on potty breaks, playing with them and giving them the care they need.

To help keep everyone safe—including my own two dogs—I currently only accept small dogs (up to 30 lbs) for boarding and daycare, and I require a meet-and-greet before every boarding stay. About: Hi! I’m Emma :) I’m experienced in taking care of a wide variety of pets from a highly reactive Akita to newborn kittens. I also have limited experience with lizards and I’m always ready to learn how to take care of new pets with special needs! My favorite days are when I get to go on hikes, but if your pet lives a less active lifestyle I also enjoy a rest day on the couch. I work in the medical field with a consistent schedule, so my availability stays consistent. I try to match my daily routine on my days off, so your pets’ routine will be very consistent throughout my caring for them. When I care for dogs, I like to spend lots of time playing outside, going on walks or hikes. However, the way I care for your pet will be heavily guided by their individual needs and your usual routine. Being away from their owner can be stressful for your pet, so I strive to keep their daily routine as consistent as possible to make the experience better for them.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, I grew up with a black lab named Baxter who’s since passed, as well as 3 cats over the years. One cat was fully in my care for about 2 years before she passed. I currently have 2 cats that are about 12 years old now. I have also petsat for a family friend in the past who had a medium sized, high energy dog. I currently work full time on a rotating schedule. While I might have to find workarounds, I will be dedicated to providing your pet high standard care in every way possible. I am great at following instructions, and love very detailed points. Should we run into any issues I am a good problem solver, and am quick to communicate if I cannot get it solved on my own. I am a quick learner and adapting is not an issue for me

About: I grew up in a family that owned dogs all of my life. I also pet sat (both cats and dogs) for many family friends over the years, even helping look over a dog team once when I lived in Alaska. Furthermore, I am capable of going on long walks or short ones, playing fetch or tug of war for extended periods, or just chillin' at home providing all the belly rubs and scratches as possible. I am based in Vancouver and I currently work a part time retail job in Portland. My retail job's schedule is not consistent and I may need to be at work for 6 to 8 hours on a particular day, sometimes during an afternoon or evening feeding time. Luckily, my schedule gets posted three weeks out. So, I'll know which days I will be totally free to hang out with pets. I'll make sure to communicate with you on which days I will be gone for a long stretch and make sure it fits within your pets schedule. I am flexible for how will care for your pet in your home. If your pet requires a lot of attention and play time, then I am more than willing to take them to the backyard or nearest park to let them play to their hearts content. Or, if your pet is shy or getting older, I can certainly give them their space.

About: Since I was 17 years old I have loved taking care of pets. I have a majority of experience in dog sitting but I have cat sat for family friends over the last couple of years. Whether it has been family, friends, or even roommates, I have dog-sat for long and short periods for a wide variety of dogs and dog personalities. I have done my time doing the typical neighbor dog walk in my hometown, but as I have gotten older and lived in other parts of Oregon I've had more diverse experiences. One terrier who I have the most pet-sitting experience disliked touching and getting pets, but I still gave him plenty of walks, play, and quality time. I love pet sitting because they provide a huge impact to everyone who wants to leave their pet in good hands. I am new to the Vancouver/Metro area, looking for work all around. I might be working for a non-profit 4 days/week, but I am available. Overall I have high weekend availability and would love to watch your dog! For house sitting I will follow any specific instructions as needed. Whether it's related to dinner, doggy bedtime, or a walk routine I can assure that the pets will be in good hands.

About: I have owned dogs and cats since for almost 15 years. I also grew up with cats and dogs in our family home. My family currently has a 2 year old Golden Retriever named Lily and 2 cats named Dobby and Luna (can you tell we’re Harry Potter fans? 😉). Before our Golden Retriever, we had a Staffordshire Terrier mix named Maggie. We had her for 8 years - she died unexpectedly in August 2021. While we had Maggie we also had 2 cats named Oscar and Felix. My husband and I moved in together in July 2009 and since then we have never not owned at least 1 animal at any given time. We are obviously an animal-loving family! I have always loved dogs and their unconditional love and companionship. They’ll never judge or ridicule, just love you. In addition to our dog and 2 cats we have 2 human children - our son Jaxson is 8 and our daughter Addie is 5. My husband is a plumber and I have been a stay at home mom for 5+ years now. My son will be in 3rd grade in the Fall and my daughter is starting kindergarten. Thus, I will have more free time during the day now to help with your beautiful and lovable pets! I’m currently a full-time stay at home parent but my youngest child will be starting kindergarten in September, so I will have lots more time to play with your pups and take them for walks, or even provide doggy daycare at my home. I can also provide drop-in visits for cats. I can also provide house-sitting but only primarily on the weekends. I will primarily be available Monday-Friday from 8:30am-2:30pm but I could also do evenings and weekends depending on my kids’ activities schedules. For doggy daycare services, have a fully fenced yard and a very friendly and non-aggressive Golden Retriever who loves playing with other dogs. We also have a large soft crate if your dog needs to be crated if I need to leave the house for awhile. For dog-walking, drop-ins, and house-sitting I will treat your home with the utmost respect and follow any and all rules and procedures of your home. I want you to feel secure and comfortable at all times with me being in your home and taking care of your beloved pets.
