About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. As a stay at home mom, I have plenty of time to watch your loved ones while you’re away. We have an active but relaxed home. We currently have one extremely friendly, well socialized shepherd mix dog who gets along with every dog he meets. Over the years I’ve cared for friends’ and family’s dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. My kids love dogs and are able to let new dog friends acclimate without pestering. We walk the neighborhood every night and play in the backyard. I am a stay at home mom with elementary aged kids. Especially during the school year, I am almost always at home. My husband also works full time from home so there is always someone here to keep an eye on things. We have a great schedule in place for our dog in terms of potty breaks and feeding. We have a fully fenced back yard and a lovely neighborhood full of sidewalks to go on long evening walks. In our home, dogs are part of the family. They are allowed on the couch and sleep in our bedroom. Our dog has a nice schedule for feeding and going potty and he loves sunbathing on the back patio.

About: Hi! My name is Abby (or Abigail) and I am a college student studying health science, hoping to incorporate animal therapy into my future profession. I love all animals and grew up around dogs :) My family’s adopted dog came to us with lots of past trauma to work through. With lots of love, time, and care she’s made so much progress! Through this experience I’ve been able to understand dogs better and the care that they need. She is also a senior dog with severe anxiety and I have grown up with her, so I understand the needs of dogs of different ages and temperaments. I understand that not every dog is the same and different dogs have different needs. I will do my absolute best to provide for specific needs of your dog, whether that be a calm environment for an anxious one, or a playful time with an energetic one! I have quite an open schedule at the moment, so I will be free quite often to walk your dog or drop in to check on them! I have a fenced yard at my home and if caring for dogs at your place I can take them out, make sure everything is clean and under control, or whatever you would like!

I've worked with puppies, seniors, large breeds, multi-pet homes, and cats who take a little convincing. My personal record is 7 dogs and 2 cats under one roof, and everyone left happy, including me. I offer walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, and I'm just as comfortable with cats as I am with dogs. Every visit comes with photos and genuine communication, not just a thumbs up that they're alive. I pay attention to your pet, notice when something feels off, and treat your home with the same respect I'd want for my own. My schedule is flexible right now, so I can work around yours. Whether it's consistent weekly visits or the occasional last-minute request, I can usually make it work as long as I'm not already booked. First, I'd like to meet you and your pet in person. It helps me get familiar with their personality and routine, and makes sure they know who I am before I show up solo. The last thing I want is for your pet to see me as a stranger who isn't supposed to be there. We'll go over their feeding schedule, medications, leash behavior, training, and emergency vet info, including the nearest location. I'll ask you to put it all in writing before I get started so we're both on the same page, and nothing gets missed. I'll also want to know how they do around other animals on walks, since some dogs are social butterflies and some aren't, and I'd rather know upfront than find out mid-walk. When I'm in your home, I treat it with care, keep things exactly as you'd want them, and make sure your pet stays comfortable and keeps their routine the whole time.

About: I got my first dog when I was five and haven’t not had a dog since. My oldest is 13 and is my whole world! I’ve been taking care of him since he was 8 weeks old and he is truly my best friend. I know how special a dog is and I know you only want the best for yours! My oldest lost his hearing a couple of years ago and since then I’ve learned to navigate communicating with hard of hearing pets! I’m currently raising a very rambunctious pitbull puppy, I’m confident I can handle whatever your pet throws at me! I’m currently a part time student at Clark college and work at a local restaurant on Friday and Saturday nights from 4:30pm-9:00pm. I’m available most mornings and afternoons with the exception of Monday and Wednesday 11:00am-12:20pm while I’m in class! While I don’t offer care in my home out of consideration for my family and my own pets I am more than capable of caring for your pets in your home!

About: Have had dogs my whole life. Grew up on a ranch with working dogs. Was a 4-H leader, showed Bernese Mountain Dogs. Ellie and Beau are my two four legged Corgi kids. I live by myself with my dogs. Enjoy walking and training for the Portland to Coast event. I am a school bus driver so I get up early feed and short walk the dogs, go to work come home in 2-3 hours then we go on a nice long walk (weather permitting) then head back to work after being home for 3-4 hours. Run the bus for a couple hours then back home around 5 pm. Feed then short walk before bed. All over night stays comes with free walks. I have a fenced in small back yard with gazebo. There is a doggie door for small dogs. Water available inside and outside. Crating available if needed.
