About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. As a stay at home mom, I have plenty of time to watch your loved ones while you’re away. We have an active but relaxed home. We currently have one extremely friendly, well socialized shepherd mix dog who gets along with every dog he meets. Over the years I’ve cared for friends’ and family’s dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. My kids love dogs and are able to let new dog friends acclimate without pestering. We walk the neighborhood every night and play in the backyard. I am a stay at home mom with elementary aged kids. Especially during the school year, I am almost always at home. My husband also works full time from home so there is always someone here to keep an eye on things. We have a great schedule in place for our dog in terms of potty breaks and feeding. We have a fully fenced back yard and a lovely neighborhood full of sidewalks to go on long evening walks. In our home, dogs are part of the family. They are allowed on the couch and sleep in our bedroom. Our dog has a nice schedule for feeding and going potty and he loves sunbathing on the back patio.

About: Since I was seven, I have taken care of elderly pets, cats, dogs, and Guinea pigs for up to a month at a time. I strive to meet your fuzzy family's needs, and make sure they're comfortable while you're away! I am used to administratering medication and patience either elderly dogs and cats as well. I am able to stay on location overnight if needed, but prefer drop ins as as I am visiting home for the summer and visit friends and family. I have reliable transportation, so I can drop in any time according to your pets needs! As i have petsat for extremely long periods of time before, I ensure respect to your home and your space, as well as your pets personal boundaries. I do not enter any unnecessary rooms (bedrooms, offices, ect) unless explicit permission to do so. I am well suited for medication administration, and have worked with dogs that have special needs (diapers, casts, cones) as well as cats with mobility issues. I do not open any closed doors or windows, and when a thunder storm hits you bet I'm over quickly to comfort any frightened friends.

About: Have had dogs my whole life. Grew up on a ranch with working dogs. Was a 4-H leader, showed Bernese Mountain Dogs. Ellie and Beau are my two four legged Corgi kids. I live by myself with my dogs. Enjoy walking and training for the Portland to Coast event. I am a school bus driver so I get up early feed and short walk the dogs, go to work come home in 2-3 hours then we go on a nice long walk (weather permitting) then head back to work after being home for 3-4 hours. Run the bus for a couple hours then back home around 5 pm. Feed then short walk before bed. All over night stays comes with free walks. I have a fenced in small back yard with gazebo. There is a doggie door for small dogs. Water available inside and outside. Crating available if needed.
About: I’ve had two cats for a few years now, and I’ve been cat sitting and dog sitting for friends for a couple of years. I absolutely love dogs and cats and I love spending time with them. I’ve had some experience with older cats. I also have a lot of experience with cats who try to escape. I’ll make sure your indoor kitties stay inside and are well cared for. I love taking dogs on walks, and jogs if they like that, and adventures so they can sniff and explore and lead the way! Kira was great! I’m pretty picky when it comes to who I will let in my home and care for my pet but she made it easy for me to go about my day knowing Pilot was happy and and well taken care of. I highly recommend her and I will definitely be rebooking with her for future walks and home stays when I’m on puppy free vacations.
We have been working with Shell for four years now. She has proven over and over that she loves and cares for our two dogs as much as we do. We trust her completely to meet their needs and have entrusted her with watching our dogs for a full two weeks when we needed to be out of town for that long. One of our dogs has a few personality quirks that require extra attention and care. With her help and guidance, he has become a really well adjusted dog that is able to read a room full of other dogs with differing personalities and have successful and positive interactions. When we first met Frances, we weren’t sure how our reactive Chihuahua, Benny, would do — but her calm, patient approach won him over almost instantly. She took the time to understand his triggers, worked with him gently, and now he greets her with a happy tail wag. Frances also accompanies our senior family member on walks with our other dog, Bucket, making sure both dogs (and human!) are safe, comfortable, and enjoying their time outside.
