About: I have always had a dog growing up and I love being around dogs in general. I enjoy the outdoors so I have always loved taking my dog on walks and to the dog park. I have dog sat for many of my neighbors, so I have experience handling dogs that I am not super familiar with. I took one of my dogs to an agility and training class where she became a certified canine good citizen. I am dedicated to providing the best quality of life for my dog and making sure they are always comfortable and taken care of. Being home from school, I have a lot of free time and would like to spend some more time with furry friends I currently just graduated from PA school, so my schedule is wide open. Now I am looking to fill my schedule part time to help with student loans. I always make sure to keep eyes on pets and keep them on a leash. I am very conscious about dog’s comfort levels and making sure they don’t have to interact with any other animals or people they don’t want to.

I have a fenced yard and live walking distance to a few nature trails and local parks for keeping pets exercised. I have a very sweet dog to keep your pet company, as well as a large multilevel home to provide space and separation if that is what your pet prefers.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. As a stay at home mom, I have plenty of time to watch your loved ones while you’re away. We have an active but relaxed home. We currently have one extremely friendly, well socialized shepherd mix dog who gets along with every dog he meets. Over the years I’ve cared for friends’ and family’s dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. My kids love dogs and are able to let new dog friends acclimate without pestering. We walk the neighborhood every night and play in the backyard. I am a stay at home mom with elementary aged kids. Especially during the school year, I am almost always at home. My husband also works full time from home so there is always someone here to keep an eye on things. We have a great schedule in place for our dog in terms of potty breaks and feeding. We have a fully fenced back yard and a lovely neighborhood full of sidewalks to go on long evening walks. In our home, dogs are part of the family. They are allowed on the couch and sleep in our bedroom. Our dog has a nice schedule for feeding and going potty and he loves sunbathing on the back patio.

About: Animals have always gravitated toward me. I wish I could take more credit for it, but at this point, I just lean into it. Over 10 years of caring for pets of all kinds, I've become the person friends and family call when they need someone who'll actually look after their animals like they matter. I've worked with puppies, seniors, large breeds, multi-pet homes, and cats who take a little convincing. My personal record is 7 dogs and 2 cats under one roof, and everyone left happy, including me. I offer walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, and I'm just as comfortable with cats as I am with dogs. Every visit comes with photos and genuine communication, not just a thumbs up that they're alive. I pay attention to your pet, notice when something feels off, and treat your home with the same respect I'd want for my own. My schedule is flexible right now, so I can work around yours. Whether it's consistent weekly visits or the occasional last-minute request, I can usually make it work as long as I'm not already booked. First, I'd like to meet you and your pet in person. It helps me get familiar with their personality and routine, and makes sure they know who I am before I show up solo. The last thing I want is for your pet to see me as a stranger who isn't supposed to be there. We'll go over their feeding schedule, medications, leash behavior, training, and emergency vet info, including the nearest location. I'll ask you to put it all in writing before I get started so we're both on the same page, and nothing gets missed. I'll also want to know how they do around other animals on walks, since some dogs are social butterflies and some aren't, and I'd rather know upfront than find out mid-walk. When I'm in your home, I treat it with care, keep things exactly as you'd want them, and make sure your pet stays comfortable and keeps their routine the whole time.

About: Since I was seven, I have taken care of elderly pets, cats, dogs, and Guinea pigs for up to a month at a time. I strive to meet your fuzzy family's needs, and make sure they're comfortable while you're away! I am used to administratering medication and patience either elderly dogs and cats as well. I am able to stay on location overnight if needed, but prefer drop ins as as I am visiting home for the summer and visit friends and family. I have reliable transportation, so I can drop in any time according to your pets needs! As i have petsat for extremely long periods of time before, I ensure respect to your home and your space, as well as your pets personal boundaries. I do not enter any unnecessary rooms (bedrooms, offices, ect) unless explicit permission to do so. I am well suited for medication administration, and have worked with dogs that have special needs (diapers, casts, cones) as well as cats with mobility issues. I do not open any closed doors or windows, and when a thunder storm hits you bet I'm over quickly to comfort any frightened friends.

About: I started by taking care of cats when I was 6 and continued to watch them until I was around 14. Then I cared for my parents dogs until I eventually got a dog of my own. For my own dog, I've had her since she was a puppy. I currently work part-time so I will have plenty of time to play with and care for your pups. My schedule may change from week to week, but overall I will have more than enough time on weekends and in the morning/evening. I have one almost 5-year-old Small Musterlander/German Shepherd mix. I take her on walks and to the dog park. I treat other people's fur babies like my own with the stipulation that I have approval to go anywhere or do anything.

About: I (Sylvia) grew up with dogs and cats and cared for them since I was young. Micheal grew up with cats and had the pleasure of raising his own husky. We have had lots of experience with all different breeds and sizes of puppies/kittens to older dogs/cats. We have cats of our own and will eventually have a dog again, but for now we get to spend time with the dogs we care for through my business and Rover! Your pets will be treated as if they were our own - with love and care. We will never accept a booking that we are not 100% sure that we can handle because your pets deserve the best, and we want to ensure that’s what they will get! We will follow their schedules and routines to the best of our ability and only make changes when approved by you. We are available for services anywhere in Vancouver/North Portland or surrounding areas! Locations further than 5 miles from us will have an additional charge based on distance. There is an unfenced patio/yard for potty breaks and play time. There are cats in the home that can be kept away if your pet is not friendly with cats. Don’t worry, the cats have an entire floor to themselves and will still get the attention and love they need! Please bring your pets food, favorite toys, or anything you think would make their stay more comfortable. We have food/water bowls, beds, and they will be allowed on the furniture if that is what they are used to.
