“Krystal is always so pleasant and enthusiastic about spending her time with our animals. We always feel confident that she will get in touch with us about anything necessary and are able to enjoy our time away virtually care free. We are beyond grateful for her!”

“Jocelyn was so great to work with and so good to our little Bud! The progress reports and photos were definitely something we looked forward to! Will absolutely be utilizing her again and would 100% recommend her to anyone.”

“Our doggie loves his walks with Sarah! He recognizes her car, and actually watches for her when he thinks the time is right. She's punctual and friendly, and an obvious dog lover.”

“Kelsey is a gem! We were very hesitant to go through Rover and choose a complete stranger, but our experience with Rover and Kelsey couldn't have been any better. Kelsey is extremely reliable, my pups love her, and she is prompt in responding to questions, requests, and messages. She does walks for our pups on a weekly basis and has also done an overnight for us. She is our go-to gal. We would be lost without her help! Thanks for your continued help Kelsey!!!”
“Brie is the exact type of person you'd want to care for your pet. She is attentive and intuitive to our little guy's needs as they chang from day to day. Our dog is so much happier on the days he gets walks, play time, and snuggles from Brie. She is awesome!”

About: I’ve grown up around all types of animals and breeds mostly pitbulls and I currently have a pitbull of my own that I rescued around six months old and have been raising myself he’s so sweet and gentle I also help take care of my sister‘s pitbull I take him on multiple walks a day while she’s at work and givelots of attention, taking them on walks and playing with them is very important to me, I’ve also house sat for neighbors and took care of their pets, and that included cleaning their horses and chicken stalls and giving there dogs medicine/supplements multiple times a day Because I do not work a traditional job my schedule is completely open and dedicated to your pet. I customize my daily routine entirely around your dog's normal habits. For house sitting, I can stay at your home throughout the day to ensure constant companionship. For drop-in potty breaks, I am highly flexible and can visit whenever your dog needs a relief break most. Your pet will never have to wait long for a walk, a potty break, or a belly rub! When I watch pets at your house, my main goal is being respectful of your home and keeping your pets safe and stuck to their usual routine. I treat your home with total respect and always make sure doors and gates are locked tight. Dogs stay on a leash for walks, and I keep a close eye on them in the yard so they don't get into anything. I'm super clean, I always pick up after them, and I'll send you tons of cute photo updates so you know they’re happy! And I’ll follow any and all rules!

About: I've been a pet owner and I currently help my 5 adult kids with all their fur babies. Currently I live with my daughters 10 yr old great Dane named Lincoln. But when I'm in North Tacoma I help with a 13 yr old Australian Shepard named Dot. 3 yr old Corgi named kenzo. 9 yr old terrier named Kona. 1yr old terrier named Mocha. I am a full time grandma of a granddaughter who'll be 2 in Nov 18th. I will and can do house sitting during the week but it had to include allowing me to bring my granddaughter. She's great with dogs and cats. The whole family has them in various breeds and sizes. Otherwise I am available for weekends Fridays Saturdays Sundays possibly Monday if there's no school. My daughter is a elementary teacher so I was available all summer but now that she's back to work I have limited house sitting days but still open for pet check ins. I am detail oriented. Military brat and former US ARMY vet. So I like a schedule and instructions to follow. It's your fur child so I'm here to help you in anyway I can
“Great dog walker, both patient and kept training Gracie to heel. Pleasant company, too, while I walked our second dog. We recommend her and will ask for her again if we need this service again”

“Our girls had a fun time on their walk! Tanaisa is friendly and clearly great with dogs — all smiles on their Rover report card/picture! Clear communication with updates made coordinating their walk easy. Literally going right back on to rebook more walks!!!”

About: I have always had a dog since I was a kid, when I was a teenager I used to walk dogs around my neighborhood. I also volunteered for an animal rescue. Now, I work for an animal urgent care and have experience with both dogs and cats, as well as own my own dog and cat. I'm currently working full time, so for boarding your pet may be alone while I'm at work unless they are kennel trained they can go to work with me. I will be taking them on walks before and after work. I work 10 hour shifts Monday through Thursday. I have one dog who is young and loves to play all day! I can kennel your pet if needed, as well as my own. I have fenced land for the dogs to run and play.
About: Hi! I’m Emma :) I’m experienced in taking care of a wide variety of pets from a highly reactive Akita to newborn kittens. I also have limited experience with lizards and I’m always ready to learn how to take care of new pets with special needs! My favorite days are when I get to go on hikes, but if your pet lives a less active lifestyle I also enjoy a rest day on the couch. I work in the medical field with a consistent schedule, so my availability stays consistent. I try to match my daily routine on my days off, so your pets’ routine will be very consistent throughout my caring for them. When I care for dogs, I like to spend lots of time playing outside, going on walks or hikes. However, the way I care for your pet will be heavily guided by their individual needs and your usual routine. Being away from their owner can be stressful for your pet, so I strive to keep their daily routine as consistent as possible to make the experience better for them.
About: I’ve had pets my whole life, I grew up with a black lab named Baxter who’s since passed, as well as 3 cats over the years. One cat was fully in my care for about 2 years before she passed. I currently have 2 cats that are about 12 years old now. I have also petsat for a family friend in the past who had a medium sized, high energy dog. I currently work full time on a rotating schedule. While I might have to find workarounds, I will be dedicated to providing your pet high standard care in every way possible. I am great at following instructions, and love very detailed points. Should we run into any issues I am a good problem solver, and am quick to communicate if I cannot get it solved on my own. I am a quick learner and adapting is not an issue for me
“We have been rebooking dog walks with Zoie for the past month because our pup loves her! I really appreciate how Zoie is flexible and available even when I schedule last minute. Zoie sends photos of our pup and lets me know when she’s with her. We will continue to depend on Zoie for dog walks!”

“Izzabella is fantastic! She’s even been helping leash train the busy-body husky puppy that has proven to be quite a bit of work. I immediately felt comfortable with Izzabella and I am very grateful my girls are getting out for some exercise with her on my long work days.”

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Lambert. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Lambert.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lambert. On Rover:
- 95% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
