And Max's back right knee was doing very well, no swelling, heat or favoring. Jenny and her family did a great job with keeping an eye on him and keeping him from overdoing it. They were also very understanding when I managed to screw up my pickup date. I'd inadvertently written down my return flight on the day before it was actually scheduled, so I'd scheduled their pickup time for the next day, just about at the time when my flight was supposed to depart. And of course, the flight was delayed about two and a half hours. Luckily, I was able to pick them up about 5 hours after the designated pickup time. I will definitely be looking to her for boarding again in the future!”

About: We have owned pets for 20+ years including cats, dogs, a rabbit, fish, chickens and more, and have taken care of a variety of pets for friends, family and neighbors along the way. We have also volunteered for the local Petsmart taking care of kittens and adult cats in the catio. We love our pets and will adore yours as well! We can provide care such as, but not limited to, feeding, watering, medications, cuddling, playing, walking and plenty of love. Laurilee works part-time a couple of days per week as a RN. Travis works full-time from home generally with a flexible schedule as a consulting Forester. We have availability for drop-ins or walks generally between 12:30-2:30 a few days per week and occasional weekends, however this varies and will need to remain somewhat flexible, as we also care for our elderly grandmother. We can not offer baording or overnight stays at owners homes at this time. We are not available for evenings currently, as we have our childrens' activities. We are responsible and will honor the safety requests that you have for your pet(s) in your home and/or on walks. We will maintain a friendly and fun environment while keeping safety the #1 priority. Rover completed background checks on both Travis and Laurilee. In the case of an emergency we would contact you, your emergency veterinarian if shared with us, and Rover immediately. We both have the American Red Cross Pet First Aid app downloaded on our smart phones for quick access for urgent care recommendations if ever needed, along with quick access to the Rover Guarantee webpage and emergency number. Available most weekdays, M-F 12:30pm-2:30pm. Not available evenings or weekends. Boarding and overnight care is not offered at this time. Check-ins and walks may be done by Laurilee, Travis or both depending on the day. If approved, our teenage daughters may join us when available for extra pets and playmates. At this time we are unable to offer pet care service in our home. We have many of our own pets who do not appreciate having other animals in the house.

About: I have 4 dogs of my own and worked at a vet clinic for several years~ I can administer medications & perform CPR, which I recently renewed my certification in. Senior animals hold a particulary soft spot in my heart, and I'm always delighted to help out creatures with special needs (young or old). As a former professional housecleaner, I also have experience going into clients' homes and understand how to utilize your space to do my job, while also respecting your privacy & home. If pet care can be considered a hobby, it's definitely mine, which may explain why I have 4 dogs.. I ensure they live carefree, tail-wagging lives and I would love to spoil your pet(s) too! About: I've grown up around all different kinds of animals my whole life. From birds and geckos to dogs and cats, I've always been fascinated by all their different personalities and unique biological aspects. The past year I've began dog-sitting on and off and I've always made sure to take care of all their needs no matter how specific or general. I make sure to prioritize that they're properly taken care of and feel safe and comfortable around me. With my interest in biology I also appreciate them from a scientific perspective and try to apply what I've learnt in school about animal biology and behavior whenever needed. I like to play with them whenever they're up for it and I even take my cat for walks everyday since he loves being outside. I strive to stick to routines and schedules to make your pet as comfortable as possible. I love to snuggle and they’re always welcome in the bed or on the couch. That is if you allow! I also respect crate training and can stick to strict schedules if needed (Note: Rover has me add my personal animals to my profile. This does not mean that they would ever come with me to a stay or drop-in visit/walk. It’s is just for you to get to know me more) Cancellations happen, if you let me know within reason I am happy to work with you. Though, I do present with a cancellation fee due to being burned in the past with long term reservations cancelled within 24 hours. I am happy to work with you if you communicate. I recently started working from home (11/2024). I am very flexible with all sorts of availability now. Not many restrictions. I live in the heart of Ridgefield. I am able to travel as far as La Center, Salmon Creek or Vancouver. Woodland inquiries are encouraged, although depending on distance, I may not service your address. (Please don’t hesitate to ask questions) I find that your pets are more comfortable at your home but am willing to bring them to mine. Drop in visits seem to be the most comfortable as it can even be strange for them having someone new stay in their home

“Left my pups (and houseplants) with Jenny while I was gone on vacation over the Christmas holidays. She was great, and the pups were pooped when I brought them home! I happened to have a vet appointment for Max that I'd scheduled a couple of days after my vacation. Both dogs had lost a few pounds, yeah! And Max's back right knee was doing very well, no swelling, heat or favoring. Jenny and her family did a great job with keeping an eye on him and keeping him from overdoing it. They were also very understanding when I managed to screw up my pickup date. I'd inadvertently written down my return flight on the day before it was actually scheduled, so I'd scheduled their pickup time for the next day, just about at the time when my flight was supposed to depart. And of course, the flight was delayed about two and a half hours. Luckily, I was able to pick them up about 5 hours after the designated pickup time. I will definitely be looking to her for boarding again in the future!”
