About: I don't have any dogs but I do have 1 cat who is 17 and still going! Every time we go somewhere that there are dogs, I love to stop to pet them. I've had dogs growing up but haven't had any of my own for a while. I'm new to rover and looking for some dog walking time now that I am retired. I am retired so generally I am available for dog walks and short visits throughout the day. Looking forward to meeting some great family members! My cat isn't too demanding with his age, but I do clean his box every morning and feed him small portions throughout the day. He's not too active so I don't get to play with him as much as I would like

About: I've been an animal lover my whole life. I have taken care of all types of animals. Friends and neighbors have always trusted me to take care of their animals, starting at a young age. I have taken in strays, rescued several dogs from shelters. I also volunteered for an animal rescue for several years and have fostered animals from time to time. I am the person who finds the pets at an event and stays with them the whole time. I have experience with dogs, cats including puppies and kittens, seniors, and animals with medical needs. I currently work only about 5-8 hours a week and have plenty of time to cuddle and walk your pets. Spending time with animals is my favorite thing to do. I will walk your dog twice a day, and can also take your pets on drives (with my pet seatbelt and/or car seat) if that's something you would like. Daily belly rubs are always included :) I have a fenced back yard. Pets are welcome to all areas of my home and always allowed on the couches and bed. I also have a comfortable dog car seat for dogs under 50 lbs as well as a collar/harness seatbelt restraint for larger dogs. I will take up to 3 dogs at a time, if your dog loves to be social (My home is two-story, with multiple dog gates should your dog need a break also). If your dog prefers to be the only animal around, please let me know and I'll let you know if I can arrange that.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
