About: I’ve been dog sitting for different families for about two years and have really enjoyed it. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable when their owners are away, so I do my best to keep their routines consistent and give them plenty of attention, care, and affection. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, cleaning up after them, or just spending time with them, I treat every dog as if they were my own. Families have trusted me to care for their dogs, and I take that responsibility seriously. I do work full time Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9-5, the end time varies but never goes past 5! So I’ll be able to go straight there to let them out to go potty and play with them! I have Wednesdays and weekends off! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal as possible. I follow all instructions provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and any special care requirements. I make sure pets have plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while also respecting the client’s home and keeping it clean and secure. My goal is for both pets and owners to feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while they’re apart
“Crista is so personable and during the meet and greet both cats came to her right away. She has an older cat like we do so I felt she was a great fit. You can tell she genuinely connects with animals (and people!). She also was very flexible in spending more time with the cats and I didn't worry at all about their care, even though I was remiss as to where Crista could locate helpful items like litter scoops. “Brie is so great! We haven’t left our dogs with someone off of Rover before for more than a night, and Brie made sure we were always updated and put our minds at ease for our full week trip. We never once had to worry about any of our 3 large dogs (all are rescues with their own quirks or on daily meds) it was SUCH a relief. Texting Brie throughout our trip was like texting with a friend! The pics of the dogs were so good and always very cute or funny. She even came over to meet the dogs one evening before the trip and then we did a trial run as well on a separate occasion - we really can’t say enough good things! She never judged my crazy dog owner ways. She even took care of our axolotl and fish! The axolotl eats live earth worms so it’s not for the faint of heart but Brie jumped at the chance to help! :) We will absolutely book with her again. Today is our first full day back home and I can tell the dogs are missing her! Especially our senior dog- he keeps going to the window looking for her! Truly can’t wait to book again with her!”
About: I have had pets in my home since I was a baby and have been loving and living with one ever since. A cat saved my life when I was a newborn. You could say that set the tone. I live on 3 fenced acres and have a variable schedule due to my own dogs + taking care of my pre-school nephew PT. M,T,R,F: Our days start early, courtesy of aforementioned preschooler. 6:30am and it’s outside time. Another visit outdoors after the bus has gone around 8am, then playing outside or lazing inside. Another outside break around 11:00a. 12-5pm is when the dogs are kept busy with chew toys and their own company. After 5:30 depends on my fitness calendar/our beloved PNW weather: will we go for a run at the park? A hike? Yard zoomies? Bed time at approximately 10:30 with a potty break just before. Wednesdays and weekends vary, but follow a similar timeline. I give the same care in your home as I do my own in mine. All the playing, sitting and/or affection they or their pet parents ask for.

About: I have been the leader of the pack since I was 12 years old. I have attended puppy training with my puppies, canine good citizen training and had a dog trained as a therapy dog in a school setting. I have volunteered at both West Columbia Gorge Humane Society and Southwest Washington Humane Society. I work part time during the week, have weekends, holidays and the summers off. My husband has days off during the week, so we may always have someone here for your pup. We have 3 friendly dogs. Your furbabies are welcome to stay with our pack or I can watch them in your home. About: Hello! I'm Lex. I've grown up with pets all my life. I've always had at least one cat in the house since I was born. Right now, I currently have two cats. I also grew up with close relatives having dogs, so I'm also experienced with them. For my experience outside of my own pets, I've pet-sat occasionally for both a relatives dog, and my neighbor's cats. My cats are my fluffy children, who I love with all of my heart, and I'm here to give your fur babies (both cats and dogs) just as much love as I show my own. I am excited to meet you and your pets! I'm currently a hybrid college student. This leaves me with a flexible and open schedule! I am available before 8AM and after 5PM on weekdays and am available most weekends. I am available to pet sit any night and am able to do a quick check-in around noon every weekday for about thirty minutes if providing an all-day or overnight service. About: I’ve always had a love for animals. When an animal needs watched I’m the one family and friends call. I’ve done anything from drop in visits to a week at a time. I live in a home with dogs and ferrets. I also have a love for cats! I am familiar with them and take care of my grandmas cats when she needs help or overnight stays. Thank you for considering me to take care of your fur babies! As of now I am in school Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-1:30ish. I also have softball practice Mondays and Wednesdays 5:15-7:45. It was hard to filter that out in search paarmeters but I really lucked out coming across Ana. Mckenna cared for my very shy cat Tulip while we were away at a wedding. She was very reliable and did a great job with the litter box routine as well as feeding. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
