About: I have had pets in my home since I was a baby and have been loving and living with one ever since. A cat saved my life when I was a newborn. You could say that set the tone. I live on 3 fenced acres and have a variable schedule due to my own dogs + taking care of my pre-school nephew PT. M,T,R,F: Our days start early, courtesy of aforementioned preschooler. 6:30am and it’s outside time. Another visit outdoors after the bus has gone around 8am, then playing outside or lazing inside. Another outside break around 11:00a. 12-5pm is when the dogs are kept busy with chew toys and their own company. After 5:30 depends on my fitness calendar/our beloved PNW weather: will we go for a run at the park? A hike? Yard zoomies? Bed time at approximately 10:30 with a potty break just before. Wednesdays and weekends vary, but follow a similar timeline. I give the same care in your home as I do my own in mine. All the playing, sitting and/or affection they or their pet parents ask for.

About: For 15 years I ran a successful dog walking business outside of Boston, and have now returned to the northwest to help my mother age in place. About: I’ve had pets all my life—countless cats, three dogs, two parakeets, fish, and two ferrets. I worked for PetSmart for a year, caring for their animals, and have experience with sick pets. I volunteered at my local Humane Society for a while as a dog walker, and I owner-trained my current dog, a retired/at-home service dog. I’m currently free the majority of the day and at night. As long as I have enough time to take care of my own pup at home, I can arrange my schedule around taking care of your pets, too! I’m a big fan of maintaining routine for pets whose people are out of town. I like to follow a schedule for feedings and walks and to maintain a training routine if that’s part of your life!

About: When I was 10 years old, I presented my parents with a powerpoint of why they should get me a dog… it didn’t work. Every day for the next 7 years, I asked them if they had changed their minds yet and it was always a no. When I was 17, they finally said yes! That dog changed my life forever, and eventually we adopted a second dog. Ever since I moved out of my parents house and into my own apartment, I have dreamt of getting a dog of my own. Until that day comes, I would love to take care of and share some love with your dogs. I currently work four to five days a week as a barista, usually from about 8 am until 4:30 pm. My normal schedule is Friday through Tuesday, with Wednesdays and Thursdays off. I am available for dog walks anytime after work on any of these days, and sometimes before work as well. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
