About: I have had pets in my home since I was a baby and have been loving and living with one ever since. A cat saved my life when I was a newborn. You could say that set the tone. I live on 3 fenced acres and have a variable schedule due to my own dogs + taking care of my pre-school nephew PT. M,T,R,F: Our days start early, courtesy of aforementioned preschooler. 6:30am and it’s outside time. Another visit outdoors after the bus has gone around 8am, then playing outside or lazing inside. Another outside break around 11:00a. 12-5pm is when the dogs are kept busy with chew toys and their own company. After 5:30 depends on my fitness calendar/our beloved PNW weather: will we go for a run at the park? A hike? Yard zoomies? Bed time at approximately 10:30 with a potty break just before. Wednesdays and weekends vary, but follow a similar timeline. I give the same care in your home as I do my own in mine. All the playing, sitting and/or affection they or their pet parents ask for.
About: For 15 years I ran a successful dog walking business outside of Boston, and have now returned to the northwest to help my mother age in place. I'm missing my animal friends, and am ready to help with yours! I'm experienced and mature, conscientious, reliable and careful, with the same high expectations for myself that you have. About: I have always been a lover of animals and will treat your pets as if they were my own. I have previously worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician for 5 years, in both small and large animal practices. I have also had many of my own animals throughout my life, including dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, donkeys and alpacas. Animals have always been a central part of my life. Due to my previous work as a licensed vet tech I am comfortable with administering medications or handling special care your animal may need. At my home I have a large fenced yard (half an acre) and one sweet older dog that plays very well with others! If your dog requires time away from other dogs I can accommodate that as well, and keep them separate. She's a stay at home mom and our kids our homeschooled, so your pet will get an abundance of love, care, and attention! We have a large fenced in yard, an amazing golden retriever who is used to being around all sorts of other animals, and plenty of room within the house to ensure your pet has adequate room and feels safe.
About: When I was 10 years old, I presented my parents with a powerpoint of why they should get me a dog… it didn’t work. Every day for the next 7 years, I asked them if they had changed their minds yet and it was always a no. When I was 17, they finally said yes! That dog changed my life forever, and eventually we adopted a second dog. Ever since I moved out of my parents house and into my own apartment, I have dreamt of getting a dog of my own. Until that day comes, I would love to take care of and share some love with your dogs. I currently work four to five days a week as a barista, usually from about 8 am until 4:30 pm. My normal schedule is Friday through Tuesday, with Wednesdays and Thursdays off. I am available for dog walks anytime after work on any of these days, and sometimes before work as well. About: Hello! I'm Lex. I've grown up with pets all my life. I've always had at least one cat in the house since I was born. Right now, I currently have two cats. I also grew up with close relatives having dogs, so I'm also experienced with them. For my experience outside of my own pets, I've pet-sat occasionally for both a relatives dog, and my neighbor's cats. About: I have had dogs for 40 years. I have cared for them from being puppies to 17 years of age. We treat all pets with love and kindness. my Cocker Spaniel, Winni, is loved and cared for and given daily walks. I always feel she has me trained. She is always nice to other animals, even when she sees a bunny in our yard she just wants to look at it instead of chasing it. lol I have a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
