Animals have always been a central part of my life. I have raised and cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes for many years including Great Danes and Mastiffs. I am very comfortable with giant breeds, strong personalities, and dogs that require confident, experienced handling but equally as comfortable with smaller/toy breeds as well. In addition to dogs, I have hands on experience caring for cats, chickens, domestic birds, turkeys, tortoises, goats, and ducks. Family and friends have trusted me for years to care for their beloved pets and farm animals while they are away. Whether your pet is high-energy, laid-back, senior, or a giant breed, they will be cared for like one of my own. Your pet will not be left alone for extended periods and will receive regular potty breaks, outdoor time, and attention. We live on a fully fenced spacious 10-acre property designed with dogs in mind. • Three separate fenced dog yards • Shade and protection from the elements • Plenty of room to run and play safely • Splash pools and room to romp and explore Dogs sleep indoors in crates or large kennels with elevated beds to ensure comfort, safety, and proper rest unless other wise requested by owner. Melissa was just awesome and put me at ease about leaving our fur baby for the day. We Will definately use Melissa again in the future if we ever need to leave our Whiskey while we travel.
My pups did great staying with Melissa and Alva for a few days. They have a great setup with large fenced area for the dogs to run around. They sent pics, administered medications, and the doggies appeared to have a good time hanging out on the farm.
Melissa was great with the doggies as usual. And such a great communicator. The doggies love it there. She is calm and manages our different dog personalities well. I highly recommend her and Alva.
Melissa was great. She communicated quickly. Her place has a nice setup for dogs. She has some large fenced in areas previously used for horses that the doggies can run around outside. They have some shade / covering as well. She keeps dogs from different households separated in adjacent fenced in areas. My two dogs had a great day at her place. Would use her again.
Mabel seemed to enjoy her stay at Melissa's place. From the sounds of it she was treated like a princess. Thank you Melissa and boys for making her stay a safe and enjoyable weekend.

With 10 fully fenced acres and structured care times your pet will receive consistent exercise, feeding, supervision, and plenty of one-on-one attention as part of our family’s everyday life. 🐾

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Pets in my home are supervised, never left unattended outdoors, and enjoy a fully fenced yard for safe play. We have 3 different fully fenced play yards to provide plenty of stretching and play even for those dogs that may not get along with others. I provide structured routines, separate spaces for rest if needed, and slow introductions to ensure everyone feels secure. Clean water, comfortable sleeping areas, and plenty of enrichment and affection are always included. I treat every pet like family and tailor care to their individual needs and temperament. 🐾

We offer structured play, plenty of space to run, interactive enrichment, and splash pools for those pups who love to cool off, and supervises romps with plenty of acreage to explore.

- We are happy to provide special accommodations to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for during their stay. We offer customized puppy care, including structured potty breaks and basic reinforcement training. We can administer medications, provide wound care, and accommodate multiple feedings per day to match your pet’s routine. Please let us know your pet’s specific needs so we can tailor their care accordingly. Out of respect for our neighbors, if your dog has a habit of barking excessively while outside we may utilize a beeping bark collar while outside. We do not use any type of shock collars. If you prefer a bark collar not be used please notify sitter ahead of time.
