Information Krystal H. would like to know about your pet
I'd like as much info as you can give me. I will abide by any and all dietary restrictions in place by the owner. I'm interested in any idiosyncrasies your pet may have. I'd like to know any behavioral concerns the owner has as well as what type of training you may be working on.
A typical day
I love to get outdoors with dogs and let them sniff out the world around them! Enrichment is really important for pets so I love making treats and toys to keep their minds active and stimulated. These include Frozen Kongs with yogurt or peanut butter (keeping any dietary issues in mind), snuffle mat with owner approved treats, lick mats, hide and seek treats in your yard or I can get creative! We recently chilled peanut butter balls, rolled them in oats and closed them inside of an empty soda box, and let our pups try and figure out how to get inside the box and earn the treat. Cheap, easy and fun for all involved and most importantly, kept their mind stimulated! For cats, I bring a laser pointer and catnip bubbles and try to initiate play with those but can use any other toys or catnip you may have on hand.

I have owned and cared for animals my entire life, in both a personal and professional setting. I worked as a vet tech for over a decade and am professionally trained to administer medications orally, topically and injectable. I am passionate about caring for pets which are truly family members! I am dependable, prompt, communicative and am confident I'll earn your trust if you choose to allow me to care for your pets. ***I carry my own petsitting insurance which includes extra coverage of your home. I pay this out of pocket annually. I work remotely and make my own schedule so I have full time availability to walk, check in on or stay with your pets and I couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity! I don’t provide care for animals that aren’t Rabies vaccinated unless there is a veterinary exemption and I will request proof of that.
