“Amy is the best! She is reliable, communicative, and cares deeply about our pets. She was flexible with a last minute drop-in request, and asked a ton of great questions about the kind of care the pets need.”

“Absolutely loved having Victoria watch over my babies. This was our first time having someone come do a drop by and I was worried how it would go but my boys quickly warmed up to her. I love how she kept in constant contact and gave me daily updates and pictures. Thank you so much!!!!”

“Jocelyn did an excellent job taking care of my kitties! She was very thorough and provided regular updates, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. She even managed to give them their meds, which can be tricky. Highly recommend her for anyone looking for reliable and attentive pet care!”

“Felicia took great care of my two cats while my husband and I were away for several days. I received updates every day with photos and details on the visit. I have already rebooked! ☺️”

“Julia is an amazing human being. She rushed over same day, totally last minute when we were having an emergency. She kept up updated and went above and beyond what we were expecting as new Rover users. She is someone you can trust.”
“Mark was super efficient, easygoing, and great to work with. Everything went smoothly, and I felt comfortable leaving my pup Grace in his care. I’d definitely love to use his services again in the future.”

“Nicole is the best! We were gone almost a full week and came home to a cat with zero anxiety. She knows if we aren't home then her friend Nicole will be stopping by to make sure everything is ok.”

About: I am a kind and loving mother, teacher, and experienced pet care provider with a lifelong passion for animals of all kinds. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, birds, and other furry friends, always treating each one with the same love and attention I give my own family. My clients value my reliability, trustworthiness, and genuine heart for animals. Whether it’s playtime, snuggles, or special care, I strive to make every pet feel safe, happy, and loved while their family is away. I am a teacher so I am available for care in the afternoons after 4pm, and weekends. As well as holidays, school breaks and summer. I have a fenced yard and live walking distance to a few nature trails and local parks for keeping pets exercised. I have two very sweet dogs to keep your pet company, as well as a large multilevel home to provide space and separation if that is what your pet prefers.
“Claire was highly communicative and took her time getting to know our little fur baby. I greatly appreciated her visit summaries and how she took all the right initiatives in getting things squared away. Would highly recommend.”

About: "As a dedicated and reliable pet caregiver, i will provide an experience tailored to your dog’s unique personality and needs. I understand that your dog is a beloved family member, which is why I prioritize maintaining their familiar routine—from specific feeding times and favorite walking routes to their preferred sleeping spots. Whether your pup is an energetic adventurer who needs plenty of playtime or a calm senior who appreciates gentle companionship and belly rubs, I offer attentive, one-on-one care in a safe and loving environment. You can travel with total peace of mind knowing I provide regular photo updates, clear communication, and the same level of affection I give my own pets. My goal is to ensure your dog stays happy, healthy, and tired out until your return!" As a part-time employed Mom and Grandma, I like to be busy and have time to spare for loving more than just my family and pets. At this moment, I have 3 dogs and two cats, all who need my personal attention several times a day. I would love to do that for you too. I know what it’s like to be stressed about your kitty or dog while away and I can help relieve that, even for just a day or a week.
“Trina is reliable, professional, and kind to our pets. I couldn't have asked for anything more! She even took the time to slowly introduce herself and make our shy pup feel more comfortable! We felt at ease knowing she was coming to check in on them. Would highly recommend!”

“Sadie was so helpful making daily drop-ins on our cat, while we were away. She was gracious in having to clean up quite a few messes he made, she made sure his food, water, and litter box were kept fresh, and she spent some time with him each day to keep him from getting too lonely. She was very easy to communicate with during our trip. Thank you, Sadie for taking such good care of our kitty!”
“Courtney did a fantastic job taking care of our cat! She went above and beyond what is expected from a sitter, and we felt confident that our baby was in good hands. Thank you Courtney!”

About: We have owned pets for 20+ years including cats, dogs, a rabbit, fish, chickens and more, and have taken care of a variety of pets for friends, family and neighbors along the way. We have also volunteered for the local Petsmart taking care of kittens and adult cats in the catio. We love our pets and will adore yours as well! We can provide care such as, but not limited to, feeding, watering, medications, cuddling, playing, walking and plenty of love. Laurilee works part-time a couple of days per week as a RN. Travis works full-time from home generally with a flexible schedule as a consulting Forester. We have availability for drop-ins or walks generally between 12:30-2:30 a few days per week and occasional weekends, however this varies and will need to remain somewhat flexible, as we also care for our elderly grandmother. We can not offer baording or overnight stays at owners homes at this time. We are not available for evenings currently, as we have our childrens' activities. We are responsible and will honor the safety requests that you have for your pet(s) in your home and/or on walks. We will maintain a friendly and fun environment while keeping safety the #1 priority. Rover completed background checks on both Travis and Laurilee. In the case of an emergency we would contact you, your emergency veterinarian if shared with us, and Rover immediately. We both have the American Red Cross Pet First Aid app downloaded on our smart phones for quick access for urgent care recommendations if ever needed, along with quick access to the Rover Guarantee webpage and emergency number. Available most weekdays, M-F 12:30pm-2:30pm. Not available evenings or weekends. Boarding and overnight care is not offered at this time. Check-ins and walks may be done by Laurilee, Travis or both depending on the day. If approved, our teenage daughters may join us when available for extra pets and playmates. At this time we are unable to offer pet care service in our home. We have many of our own pets who do not appreciate having other animals in the house.
Lake Shore cat parents share their Rover experiences
Rebecca was great! She’s so kind and sweet and our cat immediately took to her. Asked questions to make sure she had everything covered and that we were comfortable with her. She was great about updating us with photos and what she was doing. It took off so much stress from us. We will definitely be using her again!

Kristen was very communicative and flexible with my last minute request. My usually shy cat took to her right away and was immediately comfortable upon our meet and greet. I felt very comfortable having Kristen come over while we were gone and felt happy knowing my cat was in great care, getting lots of snuggles and loves from her.
