About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats since I was about 8 years old. As a child I was always showing my dogs and training them with 4H. Now I have two sweet cats at home, both boys. I consistently help my neighbor out by walking her dog whenever she needs it. I am currently working part time as a substitute teacher with different school districts. My schedule is very flexible for animal care! I can do mornings before days that I work as a teacher and of course after work on days that I have work as well. About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life. I currently have 2 dogs who are both 11 years old. One is a rescue (charlotte) who we’ve had for her entire life and one is a foster fail (Fiona) who we’ve had for two years now. I fostered another dog for about 6 months who was disabled, she was a very happy dog and even without use of her back legs would make her way around! Most of my dogs have been small dogs so I have more experience with small dogs. I’ve taken care of one big dog, who was a black lab/basset hound mix so I have a little bit of experience working with bigger dogs. I work in a park and as a delivery driver so I am well versed in dog body language. I believe that giving an animal their space and allowing them to set their own boundaries with a new person is a great way for them to feel confident with me from the start. I am free pretty much every weekday! Weekends are a little more complicated as I do work another job on the weekends that will need my attention. But I do mostly gig work so, I am flexible and willing to have a conversation and work out a schedule that works for both of us! I recognize that all pets have a routine and like humans if their routine gets thrown off it doesn’t feel great. I will care for your pets by trying to follow the routine you have set for them as closely as possible. This can help your pet not feel like their entire day is thrown off by something changing, like meeting a new person or someone else walking them.

About: Lifelong animal lover of all shapes and sizes. I have the most experience caring for cats and dogs but have previously cared for and am comfortable with fish, birds, reptiles and small mammals. I regularly pet sit for friends and family and dedicate most of my time caring for my own pets. In my spare time, I volunteer at a local cat shelter. Most of my time is dedicated to caring for my own pampered pets but as well as others. I regularly pet sit for family and friends and on average take care of a handful of them 3-4 times a month. This is the second time we have used Mandi and I would use her again in a heartbeat. She is incredibly reliable and took amazing care of our cat. Additionally our cat needed pill medication twice a day and she was amazing with making sure our cat got his meds. Can’t recommend Mandi enough!!

Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
