“Felicia did an amazing job with our cats! She made sure they were active and engaged everyday, and found their new favorite catTV channel. She even took extra care and consideration with our home and cleaned their cat spaces, going above and beyond to help out while we were gone. I'd highly recommend booking her for your pets and we'll be rebooking her soon! Thank you”

“Mark was super efficient, easygoing, and great to work with. Everything went smoothly, and I felt comfortable leaving my pup Grace in his care. I’d definitely love to use his services again in the future.”

“During a recent series of visits with our cat, we really appreciated how well Julia kept in touch with us to let us know how our cat was doing and to send pictures. She gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Thank you so much!”

“Emma did a great job with our pets. Our two dogs have some special needs and Emma did a great job accommodating us! Rocket needs to be carried and Quill needs a little patience as he’s slow with his commands (He’s a nervous guy). She demonstrated care, attentiveness, and was prompt. As a bonus she gave out cats some love while I was out. I’ll gladly trust my pets to her again. Thanks Emma!”

About: I love all animals and grew up around dogs :) My family’s adopted dog came to us with lots of past trauma to work through. With lots of love, time, and care she’s made so much progress! Through this experience I’ve been able to understand dogs better and the care that they need. She is also a senior dog and I have grown up with her, so I understand the needs of dogs of different ages and temperaments. I understand that not every dog is the same and different dogs have different needs. I will do my absolute best to provide for specific needs of your dog! I have quite an open schedule at the moment, so I will be free quite often to walk your dog or drop in to check on them! I have a fenced yard at my home and if caring for dogs at your place I can take them out, make sure everything is clean and under control, or whatever you would like!
“Jocelyn was amazing! She made sure my pets had everything they needed. She played with them, fed them and notified me on important information. Would highly recommend. I wouldn’t feel better leaving my pets with anyone else!”

“Katy took very good care of our cats Groot and Vex’ahlia. She helped us with their feeding (Groot is a hungry bully sometimes). Katy communicated, on time, played with the animals, and sent us lots of pictures. We’re going to contact Katy in the future when we need a hand taking care of our pets”

About: "As a dedicated and reliable pet caregiver, i will provide an experience tailored to your dog’s unique personality and needs. I understand that your dog is a beloved family member, which is why I prioritize maintaining their familiar routine—from specific feeding times and favorite walking routes to their preferred sleeping spots. Whether your pup is an energetic adventurer who needs plenty of playtime or a calm senior who appreciates gentle companionship and belly rubs, I offer attentive, one-on-one care in a safe and loving environment. You can travel with total peace of mind knowing I provide regular photo updates, clear communication, and the same level of affection I give my own pets. My goal is to ensure your dog stays happy, healthy, and tired out until your return!" As a part-time employed Mom and Grandma, I like to be busy and have time to spare for loving more than just my family and pets. At this moment, I have 3 dogs and two cats, all who need my personal attention several times a day. I would love to do that for you too. I know what it’s like to be stressed about your kitty or dog while away and I can help relieve that, even for just a day or a week.
About: I am a French bulldog mom of 2 dogs. 4 yr old Remy and 6 yr old Wilbur. They are crazy and have a lot of energy. I grew up since I was little with dogs and cats in the home and have loved taking care of them. I let dogs be on the couch. I will take your dog on a lot of walks and have lots of play time. Cuddles on the couch too! I have a house and a good small fenced yard. According to family members my house is the doggy resort. l was also told my happy place is with dogs/animals. I couldn’t agree more! I only take 1 dog at a time so I can devote more time to your pup. I might consider two. Please let me know if you have any questions (about availability, pricing, etc.). I’m pretty easy going. If it shows I’m not available on my calendar feel free to still reach out, I might be available. Wilbur, Remy, and I are happy to meet you! **I will not take: large dogs (even if they’re under 40lbs), Alpha dogs, and dogs that pee inside** . I am currently on winter break from nursing school. That starts back up January 12th so I will not be here all day everyday once that starts up again. Currently though I work full time from home, and are home most of the time. I have a small fenced yard. I also have a doggy door built in the screen so pups can go in and out easily when they need to potty or bathe in the sun if I am not outside with them. Birds and squirrels frequent my backyard so if your dog likes to chase those and watch, they’ve got a front row seat! When I’m not home they can be crated if needed, or roam free inside, and I keep all doors locked. I also have security cameras inside and outside of my home. You can reach me any time, day or night with questions. I work full time from home. I am home majority of the time when not in school, attention to your pup is a top priority! I have a fenced yard and two dogs for your pet to enjoy! I also have cameras outside. Tons of toys and chew things for dogs to enjoy as well.
About: Hi there! My name is Maya, and caring for animals has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve fostered everything from tiny puppies to sweet senior dogs, each with their own personalities, quirks, and needs. I’ve also raised two litters of kittens, helping them grow into confident, healthy little explorers. I regularly dog sit for my grandma and for close family friends whenever they’re out of town, so I’m very comfortable with different routines, temperaments, and care instructions. Whether it’s energetic playtime, slow strolls, medication reminders, or just keeping a nervous pet company, I’m happy to adapt to whatever your animal needs. Most importantly, I truly love every animal I meet. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I take that responsibility seriously. If you choose me, I’ll treat your pet like one of my own. With patience, affection, and attention to detail. I’m excited to meet your furry family member and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I am on summer break as I am attending Portland State University for a civil engineering degree. My schedule is fully open and ready for whatever you may need! I will give love and attention to your fur baby on each of my check-ins and walks. Let me know what you would expect from me and I will most definitely make it happen!
“Absolutely loved having Victoria watch over my babies. This was our first time having someone come do a drop by and I was worried how it would go but my boys quickly warmed up to her. I love how she kept in constant contact and gave me daily updates and pictures. Thank you so much!!!!”

About: With 14 years of experience in veterinary medicine, caring for animals has become second nature to me. From energetic puppies to beloved senior companions and pets with medical needs, I've had the privilege of helping animals through every stage of life. My veterinary background allows me to confidently administer medications, care for pets with chronic medical conditions, recognize changes in behavior or health, and provide calm, compassionate care to pets who may be anxious or require a little extra patience. I know trusting someone with your pet—and your home—is a big decision. That's why I treat every pet as if they were my own, taking the time to learn their routine, personality, and individual needs. Whether your companion loves long walks, playing fetch, quiet cuddle time, or simply sticking to their familiar routine, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. While I'm new to Rover, I'm not new to professional animal care. I'm excited to bring years of veterinary experience, dependable communication, and genuine compassion to every family I work with. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! Pet care is already a huge part of my everyday life. I share my home with a 7-month-old Chihuahua puppy and a 4-year-old Chiweenie, so my days revolve around walks, playtime, training, enrichment, and plenty of cuddles. I enjoy all kinds of activities with dogs, whether that's relaxing on the couch, exploring local trails, or going on longer hikes. Since I have a flexible schedule, I'm able to give pets lots of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. With 14 years of veterinary experience, I'm comfortable recognizing signs of stress, illness, or discomfort and responding appropriately if concerns arise. I take time to learn each pet's routine, preferences, and any special care needs to help them feel secure while you're away. Whether I'm caring for your pet in your home or mine, I provide plenty of supervision, exercise, enrichment, and affection. I follow feeding, medication, and exercise instructions carefully and keep pet parents updated with regular photos and messages. I strive to create a calm, positive environment where pets can relax, have fun, and feel loved.
“Jeannie communicated her schedule/timing for anticipated arrival time and was open to feedback for day 2, noting that I needed to give more specific directions. She did great taking care of Nala.”
“Our cat’s medication needs and routine changed just days before our trip. Kristin was flexible enough to change the schedule to twice a day visits instead of once on very short notice. She also followed all the new directions and was able to convince our cat to eat the pill pockets - no small task. She provided us great updates and photos. We were able to enjoy our trip instead of worrying the whole time about our cat.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Hazel Dell North
Felicia did an incredible job caring for our two kitties. She was attentive, reliable, and clearly treated them with so much love. We appreciated her updates and the care she put into keeping their food, water, and space just right. Our girls were happy and well cared for when we got home, and we couldn’t be more grateful. We would absolutely book with her again.

She did a great job taking care of my cats while I was away! She followed all of the instructions I left and was very thorough. I especially appreciated that she emptied the Litter-Robot waste drawer and took the bag out to the trash in the garage. She also rinsed out the cat food bowls really well, put them in the dishwasher, and recycled the empty food cans, which I really appreciated. It was clear she paid attention to the details and took good care of everything while I was gone. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter!

Rebecca checked in on time twice a day and took great care of Arlo. He likes to go outside on his leash and she sent me plenty of pics on their “walks.” Arlo loves his humans and I felt terrible leaving his at my mom’s house for three days but Rebecca was in touch with me all of the way and put me at ease. I highly recommend Rebecca!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
