About: Hi! I’ve always loved animals and grew up helping care for pets, so I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, basic grooming, and giving each pet the patience and attention they need. Now that my husband and I have bought our first home, I’m excited to fill it with wagging tails and happy paws. I work from home on East Coast hours, so my afternoons are wide open for exercise, companionship, and plenty of one-on-one care. I’m attentive, dependable, and happy to follow your pet’s usual routine so they feel safe and right at home. Working from home gives me the flexibility to fit my day around your pet’s routine. I work East Coast hours, so I start early (5:30am) and finish around 2 PM. Throughout the day, I have time for potty breaks, playtime, and check-ins, and my afternoons are open for walks, companionship, enrichment, and quality time together. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, my goal is to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any other preferences to help your pet feel comfortable and secure. In my home, they’ll enjoy a fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time, a quiet, comfortable environment, and a walkable neighborhood that’s perfect for daily walks.
About: I am a French bulldog mom of 2 dogs. 4 yr old Remy and 6 yr old Wilbur. They are crazy and have a lot of energy. I grew up since I was little with dogs and cats in the home and have loved taking care of them. I let dogs be on the couch. I will take your dog on a lot of walks and have lots of play time. Cuddles on the couch too! I have a house and a good small fenced yard. According to family members my house is the doggy resort. l was also told my happy place is with dogs/animals. I couldn’t agree more! I only take 1 dog at a time so I can devote more time to your pup. I might consider two. Please let me know if you have any questions (about availability, pricing, etc.). I’m pretty easy going. If it shows I’m not available on my calendar feel free to still reach out, I might be available. Wilbur, Remy, and I are happy to meet you! **I will not take: large dogs (even if they’re under 40lbs), Alpha dogs, and dogs that pee inside** . I am currently on winter break from nursing school. That starts back up January 12th so I will not be here all day everyday once that starts up again. Currently though I work full time from home, and are home most of the time. I have a small fenced yard. I also have a doggy door built in the screen so pups can go in and out easily when they need to potty or bathe in the sun if I am not outside with them. Birds and squirrels frequent my backyard so if your dog likes to chase those and watch, they’ve got a front row seat! When I’m not home they can be crated if needed, or roam free inside, and I keep all doors locked. I also have security cameras inside and outside of my home. You can reach me any time, day or night with questions. I work full time from home. I am home majority of the time when not in school, attention to your pup is a top priority! I have a fenced yard and two dogs for your pet to enjoy! I also have cameras outside. Tons of toys and chew things for dogs to enjoy as well.
About: I work at a veterinary clinic and have experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, including senior pets and pets that require medications or special care. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, monitoring appetite and behavior, and keeping owners updated with detailed visit notes and photos. I especially enjoy working with cats and have experience fostering shy kittens, so I’m very patient with nervous or hiding cats and understand that some cats need time and space before they feel comfortable. I know how important it is to keep their routine consistent and their environment low stress while their owners are away. I offer drop-in visits and cat care visits for pets who are most comfortable staying in their own home while their owners are away. My goal is always to make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away, and I treat every pet like they are my own. I’m reliable, communicative, and understand how important it is to trust the person taking care of your pets. I will always keep you updated so you can relax knowing your pets are in good hands. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I already structure my days around caring for my own cats and working in a veterinary clinic. I am typically available for evening visits during the week and have more flexible availability on weekends. Because I have a consistent work schedule, I am very reliable about visit times and planning ahead, and I make sure pets are fed, have fresh water, clean litter boxes, and get attention and playtime during each visit. I enjoy having pet care visits as part of my weekly routine and treat each visit as something important in my schedule, not something I try to squeeze in last minute. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I try to keep everything as close to their normal routine as possible. I follow feeding instructions carefully, refresh water, clean litter boxes or pick up outside as needed, and spend time with the pet so they don’t feel lonely while their owner is away. I am very respectful of people’s homes and always leave everything the way I found it. I also send updates and photos after each visit so owners know their pet is safe, eating normally, and doing well. Because I work in a veterinary clinic, I am also comfortable monitoring pets for any signs of illness or behavior changes and will communicate anything unusual right away.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Hazel Dell North
Mark just watched our kitty while we were on a camping trip. Cali needs medicine twice a day. Mark made sure she got her Rx, food, water and lots of loves. Cali is very shy and hides from new people. It was so nice to see photos each day of Cali getting pets and looking happy. Mark also left notes about how things went each day. It really allowed us to relax and enjoy our trip. Thank you so much, Mark for going above and beyond for us and for Cali. 💜

This is the second time we have used Mandi and I would use her again in a heartbeat. She is incredibly reliable and took amazing care of our cat. Additionally our cat needed pill medication twice a day and she was amazing with making sure our cat got his meds. Can’t recommend Mandi enough!!

Laura was absolutely wonderful! She was caring, attentive, kind, understanding, and very flexible. I especially appreciated that she kept me updated and sent me pictures of my cat, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared and made sure everything was going well. I would absolutely recommend Laura and would be very happy to book with her again!

Emma has been a great asset to my two very different kitties while we were away. We have a complicated situation with an outdoor kitty, and a very indoor/walk only on leash kitty. She was diligent at cleaning and maintaining a healthy environment for my fur children. I got lots of great photos and even the timid outdoor kitty warned up to her almost immediately 🐈 😺

Alura was very attentive to my cat, Romeo. She paid attention to detail, and asked questions if things were not clear. Romeo was very happy and seemed content and comfortable when I came home. I loved the photos she sent. I also asked Alura to water my garden and flowers, and she did a great job with that. It was very hot the week I was gone, and everything looked great when I returned.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
