I’m currently a full-time student and physically at school Monday - Thursday. My current school schedule consists of the following: Monday: 7:30 - 5pm Tuesday: 7:30 - 5pm Wednesday: 7:30 - 4pm Thursday: 7:30 - 4pm Being a student, my schedule does change every 3 months or so, but I’ll do anything I can to be flexible for dog walks, playtime, potty breaks, breakfast/dinner, or any other dog or cat merriment/task that is needed for the well-being of your pet. If you’re comfortable with leaving your pet unattended for long periods of time, I have no problem doing overnight stays during the week while I’m in school as well. We can discuss that in more detail when we meet and chat about your pet’s needs, of course. 😊

Safety, trust & environment

My two dogs (Geronimo & Chance) are free to roam about the house as they please whether I’m home or not. They are both house-trained and get along famously together. I have a large fenced backyard at their disposal. They get potty breaks every 2 hours as well as lots of outside time playing fetch, tug-a-war, or just quick jog around the yard. I’ll exercise with them at least 3 times a day for 20-30 minutes. Usually when I need a computer/study break. 😅 Often, I have them outside enjoying the nice days taking in the sun and wildlife at their leisure. In addition, I have a partner (Josh) who takes care of our boys while I’m not home or asleep (due to our opposing schedules). He has the same amount of pet experience as I do, and is an absolute master of getting our boys to play their little hearts out when he gets home from his day. I would trust him with any and all dog care and needs. If your pets are in my care, I’ll always ask you about their exercise/activity routines and energy levels to gain an idea of how much exercise and stimulation to give them. I have found a worn-out creature is a happy creature. If your pet has any sort of health condition, I would very much appreciate information regarding their health before I watch over them so I can be as prepared as possible for your pet(s).

Information Angela G. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any specific personal needs or habits ahead of time so I can best prepare to assure they are comfortable and cared for. I also would appreciate transparency regarding aggressive behavior. I completely understand dogs have a tendency to show that side of themselves when situations arise. I want to make sure everyone and all animals are safe and happy while I care for them to the best of my ability. One last thing, I would GREATLY appreciate a written reference of all needed information for all pets in my care, hard copy if possible. I’ve experienced service hiccups at client’s homes from time to time, and find it’s challenging to contact someone incase of an emergency. So, to be more safe than sorry, I ask this small request. That way, I don’t disturb you as much as possible while you’re away and I can be sure everything is handled for you. Thanks in advance!

A typical day

I thoroughly enjoy entertaining and exercising with pets. For pups, I’m a big fan of fetch for the more energized dogs. Tug-a-war often brings out the playful side of any pooch whenever I interact with them. When I walk a dog(s), I usually take them for walks in their neighborhood to keep the atmosphere familiar for them while they’re parent(s) are away. I believe that doesn’t create too much anxiety for them, and trust can be built towards me. Of course, there’s tons of belly rubs, butt scratches, and behind the ear pets to help get those oddball itches at bay. As for kitties, I haven’t met a cat who isn’t fond of chasing a laser. Otherwise, they’ll usually let me know by expressing interest in some of their toys more than others. I find a way to engage with them in whatever way makes them happy. ? Finally, what’s a day of fun without some treats to reward they’re excitement and well-being. Whenever a pet displays good behavior, I’ll give them their favorite treat. ??

Your fur babies are my fur babies!

Pet care experience

Let’s dive right in, shall we? I’ve taken care of and adored dogs on a personal scale ever since I can remember. Not to brag, but I was the go-to neighborhood dog walker as a young human growing up. Focusing more on my own family, we’ve owned small-large pooches in all age ranges with a variety of needs such as birthing puppies, administering oral medication, and of course, tending to each dog’s unique personality. I also have experience with rescue dogs who have undergone trauma and need help adjusting and acclimating into a new life within a loving space. With 20+ years of experience either watching over other’s beloved pups or having the privilege of owning my own, I feel confident in my skills to cater to each and every need your dog may have to put their parent's mind at ease while they're in my care. As for felines, my goodness they’re a treat. Similar to my dog experience, I have several decades of cat care under my belt. Through my years of catering to my neighbor’s and friend’s kitties in addition to their pups, I have had the pleasure of living with roommates who’ve had these peculiar and wonderful creatures. With this bonus, I’ve learned the ebbs and flows of cats is crucial to pay attention to for a happy kitty and home. One thing kitties obviously need is a regularly scooped liter box, which I will take care of while in their care. I will also keep your kitties entertained in their favorite ways to keep them stimulated, active, and purring. In other words, your fur babies and their paws will be in loving and caring hands. 🤲🏻🐾❤️

Once again, Angela cared for our kitties while we were out of town, and once again we are delighted by the care she provides them.
