Information Caitlin B. would like to know about your pet

Please share with me a bit about your pet's personality. Are they a social butterfly, or shy around new people? Do they have any special needs or require medications? Have the ever bitten or shown aggression towards other animals or humans? All new pets must complete a meet and greet prior to booking.

A typical day

When house sitting in your home, I spend 9-10 hours overnight with one mid-day potty break or walk. This includes any necessary medications, feedings, play time & litter box or cage maintenance. I also care for exotics (birds, small caged pets, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, reptiles, etc.) and chickens.

Pet care experience

Thank you for visiting my profile! I've always been happiest when surrounded by animals. My career in pet sitting began in 2006, working and walking dogs part time while in Vet Tech school. With over a decade of experience as a pet care professional, I am skilled in administering all forms of medications and am happy to take on special needs pets! I am Pet CPR & First Aid certified, with experience and knowledge of how to appropriately handle emergency situations, should one arise. Over the years I have volunteered at high volume animal shelters and pet surgery centers, worked at doggy daycare/boarding facilities and as a veterinary technician around the Tampa area. I have hosted a variety of dog breeds in my Florida home before moving to Vancouver, where I now pet sit full time. Pet care is not just a hobby for me, but a lifetime commitment! I am a proud member of Pet Sitters International and a PSI Certified Professional Pet Sitter® Pet sitting is my full time job. Due to the unpredictable nature of animals and traffic, I do not guarantee exact arrival times, but I aim to arrive within a 2 hour window. I currently do not offer 1 hour long walks. Safety is my top priority. I have purchased my own pet care liability insurance and bonding outside of Rover and am licensed in the state of Washington.

Caitlin took excellent care of my two senior cats who both have special needs. She kept in constant touch with pictures and updates and the house was spotless when I got home. I highly recommend Caitlin if you're looking for a great pet sitter!
