“Jared did an excellent job boarding Fiona, a ~2.5 year old pit mix that is brand new to our home. Jared came over for a meet and greet, where he let Fiona snuggle up to him which he interspersed with little checks, like touching her ears or feet to see how she responded. We sat in the back yard for a while talking about Fiona, his dog Bart, and his background - and after a while he suggested that he thought it would work well to board her at his place. I brought Fiona over there to see how she did in that environment, and she was very comfortable there. Jared sent me photos and updates throughout, reporting on how Fiona and Bart were doing together. They started with short play sessions until they got more familiar with each other. About: I’ve taken care of cats ever since I was 12 years old. I’ve raised 2 litter of kittens from new borns to the time they went to their forever families. I have 2 cats and medication and litter cleaning comes with the territory. I love cats with all my heart and am skilled in the care of them. I would love to help you out with your cat care!
About: We have owned pets for 20+ years including cats, dogs, a rabbit, fish, chickens and more, and have taken care of a variety of pets for friends, family and neighbors along the way. We have also volunteered for the local Petsmart taking care of kittens and adult cats in the catio. We love our pets and will adore yours as well! We can provide care such as, but not limited to, feeding, watering, medications, cuddling, playing, walking and plenty of love. Laurilee works part-time a couple of days per week as a RN. Travis works full-time from home generally with a flexible schedule as a consulting Forester. We have availability for drop-ins or walks generally between 12:30-2:30 a few days per week and occasional weekends, however this varies and will need to remain somewhat flexible, as we also care for our elderly grandmother. We can not offer baording or overnight stays at owners homes at this time. We are not available for evenings currently, as we have our childrens' activities. We are responsible and will honor the safety requests that you have for your pet(s) in your home and/or on walks. We will maintain a friendly and fun environment while keeping safety the #1 priority. Rover completed background checks on both Travis and Laurilee. In the case of an emergency we would contact you, your emergency veterinarian if shared with us, and Rover immediately. We both have the American Red Cross Pet First Aid app downloaded on our smart phones for quick access for urgent care recommendations if ever needed, along with quick access to the Rover Guarantee webpage and emergency number. Available most weekdays, M-F 12:30pm-2:30pm. Not available evenings or weekends. Boarding and overnight care is not offered at this time. Check-ins and walks may be done by Laurilee, Travis or both depending on the day. If approved, our teenage daughters may join us when available for extra pets and playmates. At this time we are unable to offer pet care service in our home. We have many of our own pets who do not appreciate having other animals in the house.

“We had a last-minute opportunity to see our son-in-law perform at The Watershed Festival. We knew it would be a VERY long day and wanted our babies to have more than the occasional visit from our neighbor. Shell responded very quickly to our request. After a meet-greet, we all agreed that it was a good fit for everyone. Shell accommodated our need for a very early drop off and a very late pick up. Her home was quiet and welcoming, ensuring a smooth transition. She took very good care of our babies, even bending her rules a bit about no pets on the couch, so that our oldest one was comfortable and just out of reach of the other energetic pups. Thanks, Shell for helping us be proud parents of our "two-leggeds" by taking such good care of our "four-leggeds"!”

About: Have had dogs my whole life. Grew up on a ranch with working dogs. Was a 4-H leader, showed Bernese Mountain Dogs. Ellie and Beau are my two four legged Corgi kids. I live by myself with my dogs. Enjoy walking and training for the Portland to Coast event. I am a school bus driver so I get up early feed and short walk the dogs, go to work come home in 2-3 hours then we go on a nice long walk (weather permitting) then head back to work after being home for 3-4 hours. Run the bus for a couple hours then back home around 5 pm. Feed then short walk before bed. All over night stays comes with free walks. I have a fenced in small back yard with gazebo. There is a doggie door for small dogs. Water available inside and outside. Crating available if needed.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. As a stay at home mom, I have plenty of time to watch your loved ones while you’re away. We have an active but relaxed home. We currently have one extremely friendly, well socialized shepherd mix dog who gets along with every dog he meets. Over the years I’ve cared for friends’ and family’s dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. My kids love dogs and are able to let new dog friends acclimate without pestering. We walk the neighborhood every night and play in the backyard. I am a stay at home mom with elementary aged kids. Especially during the school year, I am almost always at home. My husband also works full time from home so there is always someone here to keep an eye on things. We have a great schedule in place for our dog in terms of potty breaks and feeding. We have a fully fenced back yard and a lovely neighborhood full of sidewalks to go on long evening walks. In our home, dogs are part of the family. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my love, patience and energy. I trained my puppy to go outside, socialize with others and tricks. I’m trustworthy and reliable. I go to school and work at skyzone some days but my nights are free. After school I am also free, depending on the day. I have my own car with great gas mileage so distance doesn’t matter. I wake up and my first thought is to make sure my pets have food, water and a bathroom break. Regular baths are given to my dog. About: In my life I’ve taken care of 3 mid sized dogs as well as around 8 cats. I’m new to the profession pet sitting and care aside from friends and family but I know that for the rest of my life I want to spend time with our animal friends and learn more about them! I have full availability with scheduling. I have transportation to do in house visits but pickup and drop offs might get difficult depending on the size of your dog. I can make regular stops at your place to do check-ins/feedings/walks. I would be able to do longer visits if needed or even overnight if available.
About: I have personally had dogs, cats and a hamster. I love spoiling animals and giving them what they deserve! I do like to meet the pets before I will care for them. I will always feed my animals before I feed myself and spoil them with treats! My cat follows me around all morning before I leave and at night before bed :) I give my cat multiple beds, scratchers, toys, treats and care for them regularly. The dogs I’ve had get the same care and love playing with them.

“Left my pups (and houseplants) with Jenny while I was gone on vacation over the Christmas holidays. She was great, and the pups were pooped when I brought them home! I happened to have a vet appointment for Max that I'd scheduled a couple of days after my vacation. Both dogs had lost a few pounds, yeah! And Max's back right knee was doing very well, no swelling, heat or favoring. Jenny and her family did a great job with keeping an eye on him and keeping him from overdoing it. They were also very understanding when I managed to screw up my pickup date. I'd inadvertently written down my return flight on the day before it was actually scheduled, so I'd scheduled their pickup time for the next day, just about at the time when my flight was supposed to depart. And of course, the flight was delayed about two and a half hours. Luckily, I was able to pick them up about 5 hours after the designated pickup time. I will definitely be looking to her for boarding again in the future!”
