Retired Teacher - Home Full Time
My husband and I are both retired teachers and love spending time with dogs. Our dog Finn was adopted from a rescue in December 2025 and has been a wonderfu addition to our family. I have always been an animal lover and surrounded by pets. I can't think of a better activity in retirement than to spend more time with animals. On days we are boarding pets our usual routine is to stay at home with maybe an occasional errand. While in our home your pet will be the focus. All pets have access to the entire house with frequent trips to the large fenced backyard to play. We do not put any pets in kennels unless instructed by the owners for specific times. We will occasionally board for 2 families at the same time but only if we have met both dogs and are confident they will be a good match. If you would prefer that we only board your dog during their visit please let us know before confirming the booking so we can make note to insure that this request is honored.

Kathy and Dean were amazing! They took great care of our dog while we were away, even with 4th of July fireworks going off, he felt safe with them, snuggled in and safe from all the loud noises.
Very kind and patient with our energetic 8 month old. Large secure fenced yard he had fun playing in. It was his very first time away from home and family; we couldn’t have asked for a better experience for him.
Kathy & Dean were amazing. We received photos and or videos daily. Receiving updates and seeing that our dogs were happy eased our hearts. We will definitely rebook and recommend them to our friends.

Kathy and Dean are exceptional sitters! They were attentive when one of my dogs needed extra care and kept me informed on any changes. And they were very understanding when I was late for pickup due to a delayed flight. I would definitely recommend them!

My husband and I are both retired. We adjust our schedules and activities to meet the specific needs of dogs in our care. Our goal is for them to feel safe and happy.

I have a very secure fenced backyard. I actively supervise dogs when they are in the house or playing in the backyard. Safety is a priority.

A typical day
I will provide many opportunities for play as we have a large backyard. We are also very close to a park for those high energy dogs that need a long walk to remain calm and happy.
